“Young Master, Young Master!!!”
A soft and sweet voice called out repeatedly, waking Liu Feng, who had fallen asleep slumped over his desk.
“Mm?” Liu Feng blinked groggily. He could feel soone’s breath on his face- lightly fragrant, with a hint of pizza.
Okay! No need to guess. Liu Feng already knew who it was. Other than the big milk cow Tess, no one would be shaking him so insistently.
Liu Feng sat up, yawning. Sothing slipped off his back- it was a robe. He must have fallen asleep on the desk, and soone had gently draped it over him.
“Tess? What’s going on?” Liu Feng turned and saw the cowgirl looking at him anxiously. Standing beside her were Weya, Mina, Anri, and Nicole.
“What ti is it now?” Liu Feng asked softly. He rembered- after the morning eting with Niu Da and the others, he had started copying so novels, and he fell asleep doing so.
“Young Master, it’s four in the afternoon,” Nicole replied gently.
“So, is there sothing urgent now?” Liu Feng stretched lazily, eyeing Tess, who looked utterly conflicted and was on the verge of tears.
“Young Master, look at this.” Tess held out a piece of parchnt. “It’s from my Big Sis, for you.”
“Your big sister? For ?” Liu Feng was puzzled. What’s going on now? A letter from Tess’s mysterious older sister?
“Well…” Tess suddenly got flustered and didn’t know how to explain. In the end, Weya helped her explain.
Apparently, that afternoon, after helping out at the orphanage, Tess and Weya had gone to the pizza shop for a snack. On their way back to the castle, a cattle beastkin had stopped them and handed Tess two scrolls of parchnt, saying one of them was for Liu Feng.
“Uh… Tess, how did you know this parchnt was from your sister?” Liu Feng asked a key question.
“Well, um…” Tess looked shy and muttered, “I read the one my sister gave … and it said why she sent us these scrolls.”
“What did it say?” Liu Feng asked curiously.
Cough cough cough… Anri, Mina, Weya, and Nicole all suddenly coughed, their expressions a bit strange, the corners of their mouths twitching.
“Young Master, it’s nothing really. Just read the one my sister sent you,” Tess said, blushing as she warned, “Just don’t take whatever weird stuff she says too seriously.”
“Weird stuff?” Liu Feng raised an eyebrow. Now he was even more curious. He untied the string binding the parchnt and spread it open to read.
I’m Bella, the big sister of that silly girl Tess, and a mountain bandit chief. I’m writing this letter for no other reason, just hoping you’ll look after my idiot little sister. I’ve got sothing to take care of and will be away for a while. Don’t let her co looking for . I’ll co find you guys when I’m done…
And now, on to sothing serious. If you’ve rolled around in bed with that silly girl… just saying, her boobs… and also, if there’s a kid- I an, I know you’re a noble, and if you don’t like beastkin kids, just raise them for for now, and I’ll co pick them up later…
Cough cough cough cough… Liu Feng choked. What the hell is this? Serious? She’s talking dirty in a serious tone!
Seeing Liu Feng’s reaction, Tess facepald. It’s over. She could already imagine the kind of shaless things her big sister had written. Nine tis out of ten, it’d be sothing about rolling in bed or having kids.
Right now, Tess seriously wanted to challenge her sister to a duel. Not that she could win, but still! How was she supposed to face Liu Feng now?!
“Tess, your sister is… quite sothing.” Liu Feng now fully understood why Mina and the others had looked so weird earlier. He could imagine the letter Bella wrote to Tess must’ve been just as absurd.
“She’s just a close flirt and only knows how to say weird things.” Tess’s massive breasts bounced as she thought of her sister- soone who blushed reading romance novels but loved to talk dirty.
“Did your sister ntion where she was going?” Liu Feng asked. It was almost winter. Where would a beastkin like Bella go? Was she really a mountain bandit? Out robbing people?
“No, she never tells anything,” Tess said, pouting slightly, her tone tinged with disappointnt. “I’ve always been a burden to her. Since we left the beastkin kingdom, she’s been protecting …”
“She’s right. You really are an idiot girl.” Liu Feng’s black eyes narrowed slightly as he smiled. “What older sister doesn’t protect her little sister? And when the little sister grows up, she can start protecting her big sis too.”
“Grow up?” Tess looked down at her breasts. This isn’t grown-up enough?
Anri, catching the gesture, instantly turned her head away and muttered, “Damn it, damn it, she’s totally showing off…”
Liu Feng’s eye twitched. Why is the cowgirl always on a different wavelength? When he said grow up, he didn’t an that…
Mina raised her hand and gave Tess a light flick on the forehead. “Why are you overthinking? You’re not grown up yet.”
“Ugh…” Tess puffed out her cheeks and rubbed her forehead. “Don’t treat like a little kid!”
“Aren’t you? Who was it sneaking into the kitchen at night for food?” Mina’s blue eyes glinted with amusent.
“I- I was just hungry…” Tess mumbled awkwardly.
“Only kids steal food!” Mina said, barely holding in her laughter.
Cough cough cough… Suddenly Anri started coughing, drawing Mina’s sharp gaze.
“Mina, w-why are you looking at like that? I didn’t steal the buns! Only Tess would do that!” Anri took a step back, trying to sound confident.
“Oh? You didn’t?” Mina glanced at Weya, whose pale red eyes narrowed slightly. “But Weya said the one caught stealing her at buns would get their butt whipped.”
“What?!” Anri’s brown eyes widened. She quickly covered her butt and shouted, “I didn’t do it!”
“Anri! So it was you who ate my special at buns. Get over here!” Weya charged at the foxgirl, her hands out to strike.
“Ahh!” Anri scread and bolted.
Weya chased after her, yelling, “Don’t run! Get back here!”
“Seriously…” Liu Feng shook his head, chuckling, then looked at the dazed Tess. “Tess, there’s a job that suits you that lets you walk around town all day. Want to give it a try?”
“What is it? Does it involve food?”
“Patrol captain!”
