Even though it was just a glimpse of him stepping into the light portal, she couldn’t mistake that figure, instantly unable to pull her gaze away.
“What?” Xu Yinglian, not hearing clearly, followed An Zhisu’s gaze to the light portal at the center of the street.
“What is that thing…” Before she could question, An Zhisu silently rged with her sword, swiftly charging towards the light portal.
But it seed her presence was detected, for as An Zhisu was about to reach it, the light portal suddenly folded inward and quickly disappeared.
“Feather Ring Formation, eh?” Xu Yinglian arrived next to her and heard Feng Lan speak suddenly in her sea of consciousness, “After hundreds of thousands of years, to think I’d see one here.”
“What is a Feather Ring Formation?” Xu Yinglian asked curiously.
“Just a type of teleportation array.” Feng Lan replied, “Do you think a teleportation array should be laid flat on the ground or stand in the air?”
Xu Yinglian pondered for a mont and answered:
“Laid flat, you’d need to stand inside to teleport; but if it stands in the air, you can simply rush in on your sword, which seems more convenient.”
“Precisely.” Feng Lan said, “A Feather Ring Formation stands upright and is always open, so one can just fly into it to teleport without any activation… of course, its lifespan and energy consumption surpass those of the flat type.”
“It seems to be closed now.” Xu Yinglian said, scanning the empty space with her divine sense, “Senior, is there a way to reopen this teleportation array?”
Next to her, An Zhisu fiddled futilely with the empty space for a while, then stood there with a sullen face, as if saying “I won’t leave until he cos out.”

Shi Liuli beside him struggled hard to suppress her odd expressions.
How did she not realize before that this scoundrel was so adept at lying, shalessly fabricating stories!
“Really, that’s unfortunate.” The shadow leader said.
“My condolences.” Chen Guanshui said insincerely, “It’s been many years, maybe soone took them long ago.”
“No, what I an by unfortunate is your situation.” The shadow leader said flatly, “Do you truly believe you can deceive us with such lies?”
Shi Liuli held her breath for a mont and heard Chen Guanshui beside her ask in surprise:
