I have to go check it out!” He Zhilan closed the door and ran over, but she wasn’t foolish; though worried, she first ran to a convenience store’s public phone to call the police, and then dashed in that direction.
This was supposed to be a shortcut to the tavern, and she didn’t see anyone along the way until she reached a fork in the road where she encountered Jennifer and Nuoyin.
“Zhilan, why did you co here?” Jennifer asked, puzzled.
“I just heard a gunshot that seed to co from over here, and I was worried about you, so I ca to check.

“You also recognized it as a gunshot?” Nuoyin said, “Just now we heard the sound when we passed by here, at first we were too scared to co out, but then saw a man running from that intersection, Jennifer and I waited a while and didn’t see anyone else, so we decided to go check it out!
Since you’re here now, that’s great, let’s go together, there’s courage in numbers!”
It really was like three naive girls had gotten together, and they actually walked towards that direction.
After walking about a hundred ters, everyone realized that this road was a dead end; at the end of the alley, a man lay face-down on the ground, motionless.
