As the words fell, He Zhilan quickly found a vacant seat and sat down.
After a while, Tan Heqian, with a book, followed to sit next to her.
The book in Tan Heqian’s hand, however, was not related to any academic subject.
He Zhilan read her book with utmost concentration, unlike Tan Heqian, who after reading for a while, couldn’t focus and shifted his gaze to He Zhilan instead.

On reading it, her face turned slightly red with embarrassnt.
Tan Heqian’s note asked whether she was missing her husband.
Worrying is indeed a form of missing, and this was a fact.
He Zhilan gestured to Tan Heqian, suggesting they go out and talk.
They both returned their books and left the library, aimlessly strolling down the path.
He Zhilan sighed, then turned to look at Tan Heqian, asking, “Do you think you guys sotis just casually brush people off when you are talking?”

“Who else could it be?
After dropping at the school, he returned to his base.
He said he would call as soon as he got back to the base, but he failed to keep his word!
I waited all night, but the dormitory phone never rang.” He Zhilan sighed again, “I am a bit angry but also a bit worried about him.
I fear sothing might have happened to him on the way, causing him to get delayed.”
“Why worry about such a grown man?
