"Are you okay?" Chen Ning couldn’t explain why, but seeing Ye Zi smile like this made her feel an urge to cry.
Ye Zi didn’t used to smile so serenely and indifferently. When she was happy, she would laugh out loud just like Chen Ning, opening her mouth wide without any reservation, laughing heartily. When sothing funny happened, they would laugh until they forgot themselves, and just like Chen Ning, she would slap her thigh hard, making a loud noise, hurting themselves to the point where they couldn’t laugh anymore.

After a few seconds of silence, Ye Zi added, "It’s better if he thinks of that way; he won’t have to waste half a day coming here anymore."
Chen Ning, seeing Ye Zi like this, didn’t ntion that there was a letter from Lin Deng in the bag along with the wedding candies.
She was really afraid that if she ntioned it, Ye Zi would return it directly without even looking, asking her to take it back to Lin Deng.
Leaving it in the bag, Ye Zi would naturally see it when she opened it after she and He Da left.
"Did Lin Deng do sothing to upset you the last ti you t?" He Da could only think of this reason. Otherwise, why would Ye Zi, who used to see Lin Deng at first, refuse to et him after two etings?
