"Is the illness serious? Why not let her co to the hospital to have a look?" Lin Deng didn’t doubt Bian Muhe’s words and asked with concern. Before Bian Muhe could reply, he added, "What my mother said in the hospital that day, Brother Muhe, I’m really sorry. My incident was due to my own bad temper and had nothing to do with you all."

Bian Muhe waved his hand, "To be honest, we all know what your mother is like, no one takes it to heart."

Lin Deng gave a bitter smile. The day he woke up, Bian Muhe made a call to his family, and as expected, Bian Muhe and the others were complained about by his mother.

"Forget it, let’s not talk about those things." Bian Muhe collected the dical case in his hand, and said, "You should be feeling much better in a couple more days, right? The weather has been much better these past two days, the sun’s out. If you feel like it, sit in a wheelchair, let the nurse take you out for a walk to enjoy the sunshine. Staying shut in the ward all day isn’t necessarily good for your recovery. You’re aware of how to take care of your external injuries, I don’t need to waste my breath. No matter if you’re a businessman or whatever now, don’t forget, Lin Deng, you were once a soldier!"

"I know." Lin Deng nodded, watching Bian Muhe hurrying off to another ward.

Once Bian Muhe left, the single room had only Lin Deng left. The nurses all knew he liked peace and quiet, so they wouldn’t co to bother him without reason, and because of his past bad temper, no nurse would co and chat with him.

But actually, Lin Deng felt, although it was quiet, it was too quiet, and it made him feel a bit lonely.

Previously, Ye Zi would be in the hospital, and whenever he ca to the hospital, Ye Zi would accompany him. Now, because he was sick, he was deservedly alone in the hospital with no one to talk to.

Thinking about it, Lin Deng felt he kind of missed Ye Zi.

Even though Ye Zi didn’t speak much when with him, at least having soone there was better than being all alone.

It’s just that Lin Deng didn’t know how Ye Zi was doing now; he wanted to go to Ye Zi’s ho to see her, unsure of how seriously she was ill.

But unfortunately, it was just a thought; he wasn’t allowed to leave the hospital at all right now.

If it were before, Lin Deng definitely wouldn’t have been so obedient, staying put just because he was told to. As long as he could stand, Lin Deng would go wherever he wanted.

But after this incident, Lin Deng understood that living isn’t about doing whatever one wants; his willfulness often brought trouble to the people around him.

The wheelchair by the bedside was only brought by the nurse this morning; it was his first ti seeing it since his hospitalization. The nurse said it was damaged at the nightclub, taken for repair, and only brought back today.

Lin Deng propped himself up and sat in the wheelchair. As Bian Muhe said, in the past two days, the capital’s weather had improved a lot, and the sunshine outside was nice, making his body feel more comfortable.

Moving the wheelchair, Lin Deng left the ward alone, stood at the ward door for a while, then decided to find a nurse, at least to inform them, so that if soone ca looking for him, the nurse would know where he was.

Perhaps because the nurse station’s counter was too high, sitting in the wheelchair, the chatting nurses inside didn’t notice him.
