He Zhilan nodded and instinctively asked, "Do you want to ask my brother to go with you?"

"Xiulin," He Zhilan tugged at Bian Xiulin, who was still happily causing a stir. Once she returned to her senses, He Zhilan asked with concern, "Didn’t Lin Deng go to your hospital for a follow-up a few days ago? How is he doing?"
"Sa as before, old injuries still take their toll. A few years back, he was at death’s door. Besides losing a leg, he has many lingering wounds. The weather in the capital has been terrible, with constant rain. His wounds have been acting up, but fortunately, he hasn’t been stubborn about using his prosthetic and is resting more in the wheelchair.
