Ding Long laughed bitterly, "It’s already past lunchti."
He walked over, sat beside Ding Jinshi, and looked worried, "Are you feeling unwell anywhere? And what happened last night? Why didn’t you say anything and just stayed at work to rest? Did you know that Xi Ma and I were worried sick."

Ding Long said, "Get up and eat sothing, then I’ll take you to the hospital for a check-up."
Ding Long spoke in a tone that didn’t allow Ding Jinshi to refuse. Ding Jinshi hesitated, nodded, and asked, "What if it’s an incurable disease?"

The words sounded sowhat amusing, but Ding Jinshi felt incredibly warm inside upon hearing them, and involuntarily sniffed, her eyes turning red with emotion.
"No matter how good you are, you can’t fight illness. What if I really have an incurable disease and I’m dying? If I die, Baobei won’t have a mother. Once I’m gone, I won’t get to see you anymore." Ding Jinshi burst into tears in Ding Long’s arms, "Ding Long, what if I don’t go to the hospital? I don’t want to be apart from you. I haven’t had enough ti with you in this life! I want to grow old with you, have grey hair together, beco grandparents together, grow ugly together, lose all our teeth, and I haven’t even seen our Baobei get married yet."
"There, there, don’t cry, don’t cry~" Ding Long was so heartbroken he could hardly breathe. "It’ll be okay, even if sothing happens, if you’re afraid of not seeing after, then I’ll go with you, anyway, Baobei has parents, I feel at ease."
"No, Baobei can’t be without a mother and then a father as well." Ding Jinshi shook her head vigorously.
"Yes, yes, we’ll all be healthy forever as a family." Ding Long comforted Ding Jinshi for quite a while before he managed to stop her tears. Watching her nibble on so food with little appetite, Ding Long took Ding Jinshi directly to the hospital.
While waiting for the test results, Ding Long was even more nervous than Ding Jinshi.
Bian Xiulin and Bian Muhe, the siblings, were on the side reassuring them, saying Ding Jinshi is still young, takes good care of herself usually, and it’s unlikely she suddenly has a serious illness, telling the two of them to relax.
After about forty minutes, the first test report was handed to Bian Muhe.
After glancing at the report, Bian Muhe’s face darkened.
"You two idiots!" Bian Muhe trembled with anger.
