But, what Ding Long never expected was that the woman he thought would play a prank on him ended up kissing his lips.
So, when he couldn’t contain the excitent in his heart and opened his eyes, he didn’t expect to scare the little woman into running out the door.
Ding Long got up in a cheerful mood, looked at the blanket carefully covering him, and curved his lips. Despite having slept for less than two hours and his cold making his headache worse, Ding Jinshi’s arrival and that unexpected kiss made him so happy he didn’t know how to describe it.
Taking the "weapon" that had hit his forehead off the bed, Ding Long looked at it and saw it was cold dicine. He speculated that Ding Jinshi must have bumped into his assistant, who went to buy him dicine, hence why she knew which room he was staying in and got his key.
Ding Long got up, boiled so water, took the dicine, and then directly called to ask for Ding Jinshi’s room number. Dressed, he went straight to knock on her door.
"Jinshi, open the door, I know you’re in there." After knocking for a long ti without any response, Ding Long spoke up.
"Aren’t you supposed to be sick? You should rest after taking dicine. Your assistant said you haven’t rested well in days! I’m also taking a nap!" Ding Jinshi yelled from behind the door.
Ding Long rubbed his brow, "Co on, open the door. I just want to say two words, then I’ll go back."
Ding Jinshi hesitated for a long ti inside the room. Hearing Ding Long’s words, she eventually mustered up the courage to co out. As soon as she opened the door, she fell into a hot embrace. Ding Long hugged her, quickly entered the room, and shut the door. This posture, was it just to say two words and leave?
"Why did you co over?" Ding Long asked as he finally let go after seeing the panic-stricken Ding Jinshi in his arms. While asking, he casually walked in and glanced at the luggage Ding Jinshi had placed on the floor. "Did you co just to see ? What? Traveled from far away just to take liberties with ?"
"Pah, pah, pah!" Ding Jinshi’s face turned red. "I’m here on a business trip! My company sent to attend a forum here! The forum’s hotel is just two streets away from this one! If you don’t believe , you can co with tomorrow morning!"
"I believe you, never said I didn’t." Ding Long smiled, "But that doesn’t cover up your act of taking liberties, does it, Ding Jinshi? Since when did you, a female scoundrel, start paying attention to ?"
Ding Jinshi knew that Ding Long was here with no good intentions, certainly intending to fuss over the silly thing she just did.
She simply turned around without looking at Ding Long and kept silent, pretending not to hear him.
"You have nothing to do this afternoon?" Ding Long didn’t get annoyed, he just asked another question.
"Mhm." Ding Jinshi looked down at her toes and responded with a nasal hum to Ding Long, not noticing the satisfied smile that flashed across the face of the big bad wolf behind her after hearing her answer. A few seconds later, the big bad wolf stepped up behind her, hugged her by the waist, and directly carried her to the bed.
"Hey, hey, hey! Ding Long!" Ding Jinshi was terrified.
The bed was right in front of the window, and as Ding Long carried her there, her first thought was if Ding Long was so infuriated that he was going to throw her down from the fifth floor?
"This is the fifth floor! Falling from here would an either death or disability! Ding Long, it was just a kiss. You didn’t lose anything, didn’t lose a piece of flesh, is it worth being so ruthless? At worst, you can kiss back!"
