After thinking it over, Ding Jinshi fell back into a deep sleep.
anwhile, the “pillow” she was annoyed with and planned to replace evidently didn’t get much peace all night.
Ding Long looked at the woman sprawled on top of him, really finding himself in a mix of amusent and helplessness.
Throughout the night, Ding Jinshi was touching and snuggling against him, and Ding Long’s little Ding had been standing upright for quite so ti.
Ding Jinshi was the woman he deeply loved, so having her lying on top of him, if he had no reaction at all, he surely wouldn’t be a normal man.
“Jinshi~” Ding Long softly called out to the woman sleeping on him, but seeing no response, he gently shifted to move Ding Jinshi off him. Because of this motion being a bit large, Ding Jinshi was stirred awake by Ding Long, and groggily opened her eyes, or rather, peeked through a slit to look at Ding Long and asked, “What is it?”
After asking this, Ding Jinshi moved her hand from under the duvet, instinctively searching for the most comfortable position. But, in her drowsiness, she seed to bump into sothing hard, so she rubbed her eyes and seriously asked, “Ding Long, did you hide a stick on you?”
Ding Long’s face flushed red, biting his teeth as he stared at the woman utterly clueless to the fire she had ignited on him the whole night.
“Uh-huh.” Ding Long responded with difficulty.
“What a weird quirk.” Ding Jinshi murmured disapprovingly and rolled over to continue sleeping.
Ding Long was truly amused and helpless. Yeah, a weird quirk, keeping a stiff stick while sleeping could indeed be called a quirk.
But, is this his fault? It was all fine at first; who told Ding Jinshi to keep lighting fires? And endlessly at that? Had she thought about the feelings of the owner of this stick?
Ding Long spent a night in tornt while Ding Jinshi had a night of great sleep.
Perhaps because she finally had a good rest, or maybe due to the shot and dicine working from yesterday, Ding Jinshi awoke the next morning full of energy.
“Ding Long, Ding Long!” Ding Jinshi didn’t hesitate and started nudging the still eyes-closed Ding Long as soon as she awoke, not caring if he had slept enough. Once Ding Long opened his eyes to look at her, she directly sprang up from the duvet, laughing, “I, Ding Jinshi, have revived! So full of energy!”
“Well, congratulations to you, haha.” Ding Long rubbed his temples that were throbbing from not resting well and got up, “Are you going to class today?”
“There’s class, but I might not go!” Ding Jinshi laughed, “You’ve co, should I still go to class? How boring for you that would be! Let take you to the little town we didn’t manage to visit last ti, my classmates said it’s especially beautiful! I’ve been here for two years and haven’t been there, so now’s perfect, with you accompanying .”
“Skipping class won’t matter?” Ding Long was unsure about the differences between foreign schools and dostic ones, but in dostic schools, especially good universities, there are loads of regulations, almost like a military school, missing class without a reason could lead to punishnt or dismissal.
“Don’t worry, my professor doesn’t know I’m better!” Ding Jinshi shook her head, “Not many classes, there’s a big difference between education at ho and abroad.”
With that, Ding Jinshi pushed Ding Long to wash up, and only after he left the room did she quickly close the door to get changed.
They only had breakfast after leaving campus; Ding Jinshi was being sneaky, afraid to run into her familiar professors at the school cafeteria, so she directly dragged Ding Long out of the university. Once away, Ding Jinshi took Ding Long to the long-desired little town.
