Ding Long was really amused by Ding Jinshi’s antics, "I told the lady doctor to be gentle with you, the sooner it’s done, the sooner you’ll recover, go ho and rest well, and you’ll be lively once you wake up."
Ding Long truly hadn’t forgotten how scared Ding Jinshi was of injections. When Ding Jinshi was in elentary school, the school arranged for everyone to get vaccinations, and to avoid the shot, Ding Jinshi ran all over the school. A group of nurses and teachers chased her relentlessly, but surprisingly, none of these adults could catch this little student. In the end, it was Lan Li who caught the speedy Ding Jinshi and brought her back to the classroom to receive the injection.
During that period, Ding Jinshi was famous in elentary school for her nickna "Ding the Runner."
If Ding Long rembered correctly, because of that injection, Ding Jinshi held a grudge against Lan Li and took every chance to ss with him, not showing him a pleasant face for a full six months, almost treating Lan Li as her number one enemy.
Eventually, Ding Long carried Ding Jinshi on his shoulder back to the hospital. Seeing her look of resentnt, Ding Long was a bit worried, unsure how long Ding Jinshi would be angry with him this ti.

Sure enough, Ding Jinshi was angry after the injection. Once she put her pants back on and ca out of the room, she glared at Ding Long, ignored him, and just walked out.
"Your girlfriend sure has a temper." The male doctor handed Ding Jinshi’s dicine to Ding Long, advised him on the dosage and precautions, and then asked, "Are all girls from your country as adorable as her?"
Ding Long took the dicine, smiled, and shook his head, "No, she’s one of a kind, truly unique in this world."
Then Ding Long jogged out after her. Ding Jinshi was genuinely angry, so when she saw Ding Long catching up, she started huffing and puffing as she ran, with Ding Long watching her run a few steps, turn around to glare at him, and then continue running. When he almost caught up, she’d speed up, turn around and glare again; her pouty little face made Ding Long laugh.
Young Ding Jinshi was so adorable that it made people reluctant to let go, and this was the Ding Jinshi that Ding Long loved and wanted the most.
"Alright, you just got an injection, don’t run. Aren’t you exhausted? How can you still run? It’s so cold, if you sweat from running and catch cold, will you recover?" Ding Long finally stopped teasing Ding Jinshi, caught up with her in a few strides and grabbed her, imdiately wiping the fragrant sweat from her face, his tone not without chiding, "If you’re sick, you have to treat it. It’s better to endure a bit of pain than to suffer for a long ti."
"It’s not you who got the shot, so of course you can stand and talk without any pain." Ding Jinshi pouted but didn’t shake off Ding Long’s hand to continue running, because she truly was tired, didn’t have the strength to run anymore, or rather, didn’t have the strength to walk back.
"I can’t walk anymore." Ding Jinshi squatted by the roadside like a little pitiful kitten, letting one hand be held by Ding Long, "Ding Long, my head hurts, I feel like throwing up."
"Ah, you! I told you not to run." Ding Long sighed, "Did you eat anything this morning?"
Ding Jinshi shook her head, "No appetite." So, having eaten nothing from last night till now, Ding Jinshi couldn’t vomit even if she tried.
