Ding Jinshi didn’t care about what identity this woman had; what she cared about was that Ding Long, who claid to be busy with work, who hadn’t been ho for days, was actually ssing around with another woman? And so openly, too?
Ding Jinshi couldn’t help but let out a cold chuckle. Thankfully, she went back to work at the office today; otherwise, once Ding Long kicked her out, her days would indeed be truly miserable.
When she thought about it, Ding Jinshi realized that a man who was a well-known playboy in the capital, even after marrying, regardless of how often he professed love for her, how could he truly change his habit of picking flowers?

Casually rolling up the newspaper, Ding Jinshi raised her hand and tossed it into the trash can. After changing into her work clothes, she began her work. She was a researcher, and during work, not a single mistake was allowed.
At noon, Ding Jinshi called ho to ask about her daughter’s condition with Xi Ma. Learning that her daughter had been sulking all morning, Ding Jinshi soothed her daughter over the phone for quite a while, coaxed her into having lunch, and then persuaded her to take a nap. After work in the afternoon, Ding Jinshi went to a nearby dessert shop to buy her daughter’s favorite sweets before driving ho.
Having calculated her mother’s return from work, Ding Baobei held Xi Ma’s hand, waiting at the door. As soon as she saw her mother’s car, her face lit up with a smile, standing there waiting.
"Baobei!" After parking the car, Ding Jinshi stepped out with the desserts she bought for her daughter and called to her, shaking the goodies in her hand. "Look what Mommy brought you!"
"Mommy! Mommy!" Ding Baobei let go of Xi Ma’s hand and rushed over to hug her mother’s leg. Looking up, her small eyes were flushed. "Mommy, can I go to work with you tomorrow? I’ll be good. I won’t bother you while you’re working, is that okay?"
Ding Jinshi felt a bit troubled; the workplace was a very serious place, and she certainly couldn’t bring her daughter there.
"Miss, Mada has worked all day and is tired. Let Mada co inside," Xi Ma noticed Ding Jinshi’s dilemma and opened her mouth to advise. "Mada works during the day and accompanies Miss at ho in the evening, and can also be at ho with Miss on weekends."
"I understand, Mommy. I won’t go," Ding Baobei said, wrinkling her little nose, not acting up, and took the things from Ding Jinshi’s hand. Then she looked up and gave Ding Jinshi a sweet smile, "Thank you, Mommy, for the sweets! I love them! Mommy, let’s go in and share them together!"
Ding Jinshi patted her daughter’s head and led her inside.
"Xi Ma, please get a spoon!" Entering the house, Ding Baobei ran excitedly towards the dining table, climbed onto a chair, placed the small cake in front of her, and called to Xi Ma.
Xi Ma responded with a smile, went to the kitchen to get the utensils, and when she ca out of the kitchen, she heard sounds from the yard and went out to check. She was taken aback, and joyfully exclaid, "Miss, Mada, Sir is back!"
"Daddy’s back?" Upon hearing this, Ding Baobei’s eyes lit up, leaving her food behind, and she ran towards the door.
Ding Jinshi sat there motionless, thinking of the photo in the newspaper. She was a bit surprised; it was only printed in the newspaper today, and yet he suddenly returned ho today?
The first thing Ding Long did upon entering was to hug his daughter, shower her with kisses, then lift her high and spin her around, making her giggle before putting her down, asking, "Did you miss Daddy?"
