“After you shower, co down for dinner. Aunt Xi made the braised crucian carp you wanted.” Ding Long said towards the bathroom, but he still went over to the bedside table to take away a brand new fruit knife, then went downstairs and instructed Aunt Xi, “From now on, when you see these tools in the house, the madam hasn’t done housework before, she can’t handle such knives, or she may accidentally hurt herself.”
Aunt Xi didn’t catch the aning in Ding Long’s words, paused, and said, “Did the madam get hurt while peeling fruit just now upstairs? Is it serious? Did she apply dicine?”
“No.” Ding Long said, “Isn’t it better to prevent such things before they happen?”
But heaven knows, at the mont he entered the room and saw Ding Jinshi quickly hide the fruit knife behind her back, his heart almost leaped out of his chest!
If he had been half an hour late coming upstairs, would he have seen a scene of rivers of blood?

“Madam, sir instructed to make you vegetable porridge. Would you like so? Or perhaps so rice? I made braised crucian carp, you could try it.” Aunt Xi, not noticing Ding Jinshi’s abnormality, asked cheerfully, thinking she had indeed worried too much just now.
“Rice.” Ding Jinshi, without thinking, avoided the vegetable porridge specially instructed by Ding Long, scooped so rice, and lowered her head to eat occasionally picking at so dishes. After a few bites of rice, she put down the bowl and prepared to get up.
“Sit down. You can only leave when you finish the rice in the bowl.” Ding Long raised his eyebrow.
Ding Jinshi paused her movents, sneered, “What, do you even have to control how much I eat?” With that, she went upstairs without looking back, slamd the door heavily.
“Madam might be in a bad mood because of the argunt with sir just now, it’s okay, I’ll make her so dumplings as a late-night snack. These past few days, madam has been eating a bowl of milk dumplings every night before sleeping.” Aunt Xi replied.
“She’s been eating every al at ho these days?” Ding Long asked.
“Yes, madam really likes the food I cook. She even takes my cooking to work and heats it up there, cos straight ho after work, and on weekends doesn’t go out. Either she goes to the market with in the morning for groceries and a walk, or she stays at ho all day, sotis calling friends, sotis Miss Zhou cos over to keep her company. When she’s free, madam chats with too.” Aunt Xi smiled and replied, “Actually, madam’s personality is quite lively.”
Ding Long nodded; honestly, he felt a particular envy towards Aunt Xi.
He didn’t expect, with Aunt Xi in the house, that in his absence, she would stay at ho all the ti and not go back to her small room to sulk alone. He didn’t expect she would go to the market with Aunt Xi or chat with her.
Perhaps Ding Jinshi didn’t dislike the house but rather disliked him as the male owner.
After the al, Ding Long went out feeling agitated, directly heading to Nightti.
He ordered a drink, alone with his gloomy mood. The girls at Nightti were familiar with Ding Long, seeing him drink alone, several girls surrounded him.
“Boss Ding, long ti no see. How co you’re alone tonight? Didn’t your friends co along?”
