Capítulo 1347: Chapter 1347: Her Ruthlessness 7
A young mother, during her postpartum confinent, suddenly appeared before everyone, tearfully pleading for help. Anyone with a conscience would be moved.
“Boss He, just say the word. If there’s anything we can do to help, we absolutely will,” soone below spoke up. With the first person agreeing, naturally, the others followed suit.
He Zhilan raised her hand to wipe away her tears and said, “I want you to help spread these words to every corner of the capital, so the person who took my child knows.”
“Please go ahead, Boss He,” soone said.
She nodded, slowly speaking, word by word, “Lan Song’s parents, I know you have my child in your hands. Your revenge is like an absurd farce, but regardless, as fellow parents, you shouldn’t have touched my child. I, He Zhilan, warn you, return my child to within twelve hours of seeing this ssage, or don’t bla , He Zhilan, for being ruthless. I will have Lan Song’s grave dug up and make sure your son’s soul never rests in peace! I, He Zhilan, an what I say. You’ve forced to this point; if my child is delayed by just an hour, I’ll have one of your son’s bones removed. If you don’t return my child to within two days, I’ll ensure your son’s remains are obliterated!”
Looking at the crowd below, stunned and silent, He Zhilan moved slightly, “That’s all I have to say. I hope you can help, thank you.”
With that, He Zhilan left the conference room through the side door, leaving the room in utter silence.
“Zhilan, out so soon? What did you tell them inside? Did anyone give you a hard ti?” Lin Chan asked nervously.
He Zhilan shook her head, leaning weakly against He Teng, “Lin Chan, lend so of your people in S Province, have them rush to guard Lan Song’s grave overnight.”
“Why guard Lan Song’s grave?” Lin Chan asked in confusion, but seeing He Zhilan not in the mood to explain, he nodded and agreed, then made a phone call to pass on He Zhilan’s orders.
Perhaps due to the poor state of her ntal health these past few days, or perhaps because of the imnse pressure she was under, He Zhilan fainted in He Teng’s arms right after Lin Chan finished his call. He Teng’s heart tightened, and he quickly carried He Zhilan out of the hotel to take her to the hospital.
In the conference room, it took a good while for the gathered reporters to react. Once she left, they started discussing.
“Isn’t what Boss He said a bit too harsh? You shouldn’t involve the dead. She’s threatening to exhumate and desecrate soone already laid to rest because of her child. That’s too ruthless, isn’t it?” a man cursed, “Truly a heart like a scorpion’s.”
“What the hell do you know, man? Didn’t you see how exhausted Boss He is, both physically and ntally? Her child was abducted shortly after premature birth, she doesn’t even know if it’s alive or dead. As a mother, if she wasn’t desperate, if she wasn’t completely out of options, would she resort to such a vicious thod? This didn’t happen to your child; if it did, you’d be the first to want to kill the enemy’s ancestors back eighteen generations!” A female reporter, who was already a mother, cast a disdainful glance at him, “Anyway, I support Boss He. She’s a pitiful mother. She was originally a really good and kind person, and it wasn’t until those heartless people forced her to this point.”
