“Is that so? Did Aunt pay her for the work? This nanny is very efficient, so her pay is not low. The rowdy little boy in the living room was the most annoying child Ding Jinshi had ever seen; spoiled rotten, he was like a little tyrant with no manners. He would destroy people’s things, and his grandma would act all proud and tell everyone, “My grandson is really sothing, such a young age and strong too!”
Ding Jinshi went upstairs and saw her daughter’s room door was closed, so she raised her hand and gently knocked, “Baobei, it’s mom, can mom co in?”
The girl in the room seed unresponsive, so Ding Jinshi opened the door and walked in directly, seeing her daughter lying on the bed, facing away from the door, wrapped entirely in the blanket.
“Baobei, are you asleep?” Ding Jinshi walked over to the bed and reached out to touch her daughter, only to be frightened, “It’s so hot!”
The little girl only then slowly opened her eyes, and upon seeing her mother beside her, started bawling her eyes out.
