At this mont, Gu En indeed was no longer in the border area; she quickly left by randomly buying a train ticket. However, she never imagined that by coincidence, after getting off the train, she ended up in C Province.
Ironically, she returned to the city she least wanted to co back to.

She couldn’t stay at a hostel, couldn’t stay at a luxury hotel, and had to keep her head down, letting her hair hang ssily and filthily over her shoulders, wandering aimlessly through the city’s streets and alleys. At night, she had no choice but to stay under a bridge where a large group of holess and beggars lived.
But surprisingly to Gu En, even in this ugly state, she could still attract the attention of those filthy n.
She had barely found a corner and squatted down when soone noticed her and tried to approach.
“It’s a woman!” exclaid a man, shouting over to others, “I don’t know if she’s a fool!”
Then they quickly surrounded her, and soone stepped forward to see if Gu En was indeed a fool, pulling at her, which due to Gu En’s frantic resistance, resulted in tearing off her right sleeve, exposing a round shape originally hidden well inside her clothes.
“Get lost!” Gu En kicked the closest man disdainfully and quickly closed her clothes. When she looked up, her ghostly face scared the n into retreat.
“Heavens! So ugly!” one man exclaid, “Scared to death! Almost like a ghost!”
“Boss, but her skin is so white and smooth!”
At the end of April, C Province had already turned hot. Gu En was wearing just a long-sleeved shirt, but with that pull, the sleeve ripped from the shoulder, and the collar opened a bit. Although it didn’t expose more, it was enough to make the group of n crave desperately.
“What’s good about having good skin? Seeing that ghostly face, doesn’t it disgust you?” The man called Boss still showed great disdain.

“You’re already here! Why run? You’re a woman, late at night, feeling lonely, aren’t you? We can keep you company, isn’t that nice?” A man grinned lecherously, his eyes greedily fixed on her fair arms.
The moon slowly slid out inch by inch from behind the dark clouds, its faint light shining on the few people. Seeing clearly the faces of the n in front of her, Gu En’s fear surged dramatically.
Gu En stared firmly at the man they called Boss, unable to believe how fate was mocking her.
