"Lin Chan told you, didn’t she?" Dr. Qin naturally knew that Lin Chan would inform He Zhilan, the person involved, about her plans to et Mrs. Gu. "I’m very sorry, I just wanted to help you."

"Dr. Qin, although I still don’t know what sickness I have, I do appreciate your kindness. However, I truly do not need this kind of help," He Zhilan’s tone was slightly cold, "I do not need anyone to make any decisions for out of arrogance. If you don’t want your hands stained with my blood, then please, Dr. Qin, go back to M Country. I cherish my life and I don’t want to lose it because of your good intentions."

He Zhilan’s words froze Dr. Qin’s heart suddenly.

"Dr. Qin, have you ever heard a term here in our country? It’s called ’killing with kindness’."

"I respect your choice," Dr. Qin said indifferently, "I know it’s difficult for you to trust again and to get along with well. I will return to M Country tomorrow, but I will have a colleague get in touch with you. She will cure your illness."

"No need," He Zhilan refused lightly, "I think I’m quite well now, I don’t need treatnt."

After hanging up the phone, Dr. Qin sat alone in the hotel for a long ti, motionless.

Honestly, she blad herself. It was her recklessness that caused He Zhilan to distrust psychologists and to reject psychological treatnt and the therapists.

As He Zhilan wished, Dr. Qin bought a ticket back to M Country the next day. Before she left, she called He Teng to apologize and said that she would find an opportunity to introduce her colleague to He Zhilan. Moreover, she asked He Teng to spend more ti with He Zhilan.

With Dr. Qin’s departure, He Zhilan’s treatnt ca to an abrupt halt. For those who cared about He Zhilan, it was a mix of relief and worry.

The relief was that Dr. Qin had returned to her ho country, which ant that her final decision was to respect He Zhilan’s wishes and not to disclose He Zhilan’s affairs to others. The worry was that there was no resolution to He Zhilan’s illness.

After Dr. Qin returned to M Country, Bian Muhe suggested that He Teng should bring He Zhilan to the capital. Since He Zhilan trusted them, she would probably trust the psychologist he recomnded. Furthermore, with He Dongxue and him at the General Military Hospital, the environnt wouldn’t be unfamiliar to He Zhilan. She would also feel safer at the General Military Hospital.

Considering He Zhilan’s well-being, He Teng agreed, but to his surprise, He Zhilan herself was unwilling to go. That evening, when he ntioned this to He Zhilan, she just kept shaking her head and refused to budge.

When he tried to persuade her further, He Zhilan turned impatiently, leaving him facing the back of her head.

"Zhilan," He Teng was indeed a bit helpless. He truly feared that Dr. Qin’s actions might affect He Zhilan’s aversion to treatnt, "how about this, I take so ti off to accompany you to the capital, and after we arrive, you could stay with Dongxue, or stay at Lin Chan’s place. Alternatively, you can work with Sister Lin at the translation agency’s capital branch."

He Zhilan then finally reacted, "Aren’t you opposed to working? If I go to work at the capital’s translation agency, what will you do? When you go ho alone, there will be no one to cook for you, no one to do the laundry. At night, what should I do when I can’t sleep because you’re not there? If you’re not around, I’ll have nightmares."
