"Then get those rmaids to back off. They look too dangerous," the giant python demanded, keeping its distance.

"Pretty ladies, you heard that? Spread out a bit," Leon nodded and called out to the rmaid sisters.

The one who had been speaking with Leon opened her mouth as if to persuade him otherwise, but before she could speak, Leon shouted, "Hurry up and move! If you don’t go, I can’t get the gold coins!"

At this mont, Leon wore an expression of urgency and greed. "I ca here for these treasures! Don’t delay my fortune."

The rmaid sister looked stunned, her eyes full of contempt, but she still obeyed Leon’s words and left the vicinity of the fishing boat.

Seeing this, the giant python appeared quite pleased. Still, it didn’t forget to add, "Also, put away your weapon, or I won’t dare co closer."

"Of course, no problem." Leon casually tossed the Galaxy Waterlon Knife onto the deck, but not too far—just within two ters.

"Co over. Let

see how rich Old Hans’s legacy really is."

Rubbing his hands eagerly, Leon urged the giant python.

"Alright, here I co." Seeing everything go exactly as it had hoped, the python swam cheerfully toward Leon’s fishing boat.

Just as it was about to reach the bow, it saw Leon suddenly swallow a clump of seaweed. Before it could react, the Galaxy Waterlon Knife—previously tossed aside—appeared in Leon’s hand.

Leon then leapt straight from the bow, and in the python’s eyes, he was already overhead.

The weapon in Leon’s hand swelled with the wind, transforming in seconds from a ter-long light blade into a massive seven- to eight-ter slab-like greatsword.

"Ladies, now!"

The Galaxy Waterlon Knife’s sudden growth made it terrifyingly heavy, dragging Leon down with gravitational force. In an instant, the blade ca crashing down on the python’s head.

Its crystalline-hard scales shattered under the weapon’s crushing montum. Had the python not instinctively jerked away, Leon might have taken its entire head in one strike.

Even so, the blow nearly split half its head open, spilling red and white matter across the sea.

The agony sent the python thrashing wildly in the water.

"Argh! Damn you! How dare you ambush !"

It scread in rage, its voice thick with venom and hatred.

"As if you were really here to give

treasure," Leon replied without a trace of sha. Dropping into the water, he felt like a fish himself.

Not only could he breathe freely underwater, but fins had sprouted from his elbows and ankles, allowing him to dart nimbly through the sea.

Still, he didn’t shrink the Galaxy Waterlon Knife. While the giant form was perfect for the dive attack, it was like a cent pillar in the water. Leon didn’t want its weight dragging him to the seabed.

A ter and a half was the ideal length, and he made it thinner to cut down water resistance.

"Sorry, we thought you’d really been lured by the fortune and missed the best chance to strike," the rmaid sister explained, embarrassed, as she swam up with the other three.

"No worries. If even you couldn’t fool him, this big fool wouldn’t have co right to

for a chop," Leon reassured her.

He hadn’t expected the ambush to go so smoothly. Originally, he had planned to lure the python close to the boat, then keep it from escaping. Who knew he’d achieve that and more?

The python had seed cunning, but in truth, it had so brains—just not much. Lucky Leon had taken it seriously.

"Hold it down for . Don’t let it escape. I’ll be the main attacker."

Seeing the python still writhing in pain, Leon gave orders to the rmaids.

"Too dangerous. Let —protecting you is our main mission," the rmaid sister objected.

"If you die, you’re dead for good. I can’t die. I have Forest Magic. Stop wasting ti—this is the perfect chance to beat a drowning snake," Leon said, swimming toward the python.

The magical rman Algae gave him incredible propulsion; a slight kick sent him surging forward. The python, its mind consud by pain, twisted and flailed helplessly.

Leon wouldn’t waste such a chance. He went straight for its nearest tail section and slashed.

The Galaxy Weapon’s sharpness was unmatched. The cut severed the thick tail cleanly, and a rush of blood dyed the sea red.

"Hissss!"

The python’s movents beca even more violent, churning the currents so strongly that they hindered Leon’s movents. Its ear-splitting screech vibrated through the water, making Leon’s ears ache.

Just as Leon struck, the four rmaids surrounded the python—not with the Neptune Greatsword, but by summoning streams of water shaped like ropes to bind it.

The watery restraints worked perfectly, stiffening the python’s struggles and greatly limiting its movent. Leon seized the mont, slashing at its thickest section and dragging his blade to carve a long, thin gash.

The wound stretched nearly two ters, and under the pressure of the deep sea, blood poured out in torrents. Soon Leon’s vision was filled with nothing but red.

"Ugh, that reeks like hell."
