Ever heard of the saying ’Be careful of what you wish for, you just might get it’? Yeah, as soon as the thought of my neighbor popped into my head, the door opened, and in he walked with a tray of cheeses, ats, and crackers.

Seriously, my kidnapper/would-be killer was out preparing a charcuterie board? What the hell!?? I would never be able to look at them the sa way again.

"What the hell!?" he unknowingly repeated my thoughts as he spotted laying on the bed in full armor. I didn’t know what I looked like (except for my arm) because, for so reason, I didn’t think to actually check myself out in the mirror, but I was guessing it wasn’t my normal look.

"i Xing?"

I quickly looked down at the rope, and seeing the purple dot, I clicked on the ’fire’ button. The laser cut through the rope like it was nothing... but then didn’t turn off. Thinking that my luck might have changed, I looked at the rope that was holding my right foot to the bed and quickly cut that too.

The laser cut through the mattress in between my legs as I cut through the last thing that kept attached to the bed.

The downside? The laser was still activated.

Frantically, I looked at my wrist computer from the corner of my eyes so that I didn’t accidentally send the laser in a direction that I didn’t want it to go and looked for the off switch. What I saw was a tir counting down from 120.

Shit.

The 150 was apparently a unit of ti. So that laser was going to continue going in a single (because I pressed the single slash) line until 150 seconds (to the best of my guess) was up.

This was why you always made sure to read any and all instructions and safety guidelines before using alien armor. Lesson learned.

"What the fuck!" scread my neighbor, taking my attention away from the tir on my wrist unit and onto him. Swinging my head in his direction, the laser still going at full blast, I accidentally sliced him in two.

I briefly closed my eyes for a second before opening them again to double-check that I had done what I thought I had done. Well... fuck...

I watched, the laser still continuing to burn a hole through the wall and God only knew what else, as the top half of my neighbor’s body slid slowly off of the bottom half. One interesting part about the laser? It was really, really clean. I an, there was no blood splatter, no organs falling out... nothing.

The laser was able to cauterize the incision at the sa ti as making it, so there were no arteries spraying blood all over the place or intestines falling out of the upper body, nothing. The unfortunate part?

The upper half was still in complete working order. "What the fuck have you done!" my neighbor scread from where he was laying sideways on the floor. "You have to fix this!"

Now, even if I knew how to fix this, I still wouldn’t.

But I would have to add it to my notes about the armor. Maybe adjust the settings because 150 seconds was a bit too long to have an active laser that was attached to my head.

All of a sudden, a giant 5 appeared on the screen inside my helt. Realizing that the countdown was letting know how long the laser would remain active, I quickly flicked my head and cut my neighbor in half once again, this ti removing his head from his neck.

I would have to admit, the look of disbelief on his face was absolutely priceless. And it was probably the last look that his victims had on their faces as well. Poetic justice if there ever was any.

3....2....1....

The purple light that was coming out of my helt dimd before completely disappearing, leaving in an empty cabin with my abductor dead at my feet.

Well... at least one of my abductors was dead. I would still have to deal with the Sisalik.

And before anyone wants to take this ti to point out that Jun Li killed all the Sisalik (and a few other species) on the ship as soon as he took control, I wasn’t including them in the list of people to kill.

Crap, I was going to have to rena my kill list. "List of Species to Kill"? Was that better?

Anyways. I was going to wage a war against all Sisalik because that was just the way I was. However, I wasn’t going to end there. I would put as many monkey wrenches into the Alliance’s plans as I could and probably piss off a few humans at the sa ti.

Gee, golly gosh, this was going to be fun.

I brought my hand up to the right side of my neck, causing the armor to retract leaving in my collar, my garrotte bracelets, and my birthday suit.

Forgot about that small part. Contemplating if it would be better to try to find clothes or to just engage my armor again, I heard the pounding of feet coming up a wooden set of stairs.

Having my choice taken from , I quickly engaged my armor and crouched down into a defensive position. The last thing that I needed was for police to co storming in here with naked and a dead man cut into three pieces.

"i Xing!" yelled a deep baritone voice. It sounded both familiar and strange at the sa ti. "i Xing, answer !" ca the voice again as a door outside of my room banged against the wall.

I stayed silent, not because I didn’t want to answer, but rather because I was so tired of trying to figure out my armor that it just wasn’t worth it to try and find the speaker button. Standing to my full height, I opened the door to the room where I was held prisoner and walked into a hallway.

"i Xing! If you don’t answer , I am going to blow up this fucking place, screw the governnt," growled the voice and I couldn’t help but smirk.

Checking my wrist computer, I saw the setting that I was looking for after a few seconds of searching for it. Dissolving just my helt, I called out, "I’m fine, Jun Li."
