"Wan Brother, why this expression?"

The visitor was no longer young, and more importantly, Fang Xing recognized him; he was none other than Chen Yi, the leader of the Five Righteous n of Cang Mountain.

Seeing Wan the Pill Master’s expression, he couldn’t help but feel puzzled.

However, Wan the Pill Master just snorted a few tis, "Today you saw that lad searching through the market for Calming Pills and inford . I sent him an invitation based on what you told , but that boy completely ignored it, causing to lose significant face. How do you propose we settle this?"

Chen Yi was rendered speechless but was aware of Wan the Pill Master’s miserly and penny-pinching nature.

The key point was... he couldn’t afford to offend a Pill Master. Consequently, he replied with a bitter smile and a cupped-fist salute, "My fault indeed. I will certainly make it up to you, Wan Brother..."

"Spare your apologies, but the share of Spiritual dicine for this operation needs to be adjusted..." Wan Fenglin’s plan was revealed.

"That... I will have to discuss thoroughly with my sworn brothers," Chen Yi responded with a hint of hesitation.

"Hmph, I still don’t understand why you would want to recruit a Postnatal-level Martial Artist... He doesn’t seem to be so Cultivation prodigy..." Wan Fenglin was sowhat curious.

"Sigh... This person has a mysterious origin. I originally did not want to ddle with him, but since he recently moved next to my fourth brother and fifth sister, I had no choice but to test him. Wan Brother, you must not underestimate him; he has at least one Blood Refining Magical Artifact on him!" Chen Yi sighed, "That’s why I thought he could be of great use in this operation. But unexpectedly... he doesn’t seem to care much about the Calming Pills..."

"Blood Refining Magical Artifact?" A flash of greed crossed Wan Fenglin’s mind, followed by his comnt, "That’s truly a pity. He should have been of great assistance against the Purple Winged Scorpion."

As for whether he intended to befriend the person or to kill and rob him, that remained unknown.

Wan Fenglin even believed that Chen Yi currently shared the sa thoughts as him.

Anyone skilled enough to have survived as a Loose Cultivator was no fool.

If the young man indeed had a significant background, they would flatter and please him, hoping for so benefits to trickle through their fingers.

But should there be no concerns, and if he happened to fall into a dangerous situation while hunting Demon Beasts, then kicking him while he was down would require no second thoughts!

"It seems Wan Brother is ready to take action soon?"

Upon hearing this, Chen Yi’s eyes brightened as he spoke.

"Of course. Not to ntion the ’Illusion Heart Orchids’ are nearing the end of their flowering period, the venom produced by the ’Purple Winged Scorpions’ alone is excellent Alchemy Material. How could Wan Fenglin pass that up?"

Wan Fenglin glanced at Chen Yi aningfully, "We’ll be relying on the renowned Five Righteous n of Cang Mountain this ti."

"Of course, of course..."

Chen Yi agreed, then turned and left.

Wan Fenglin watched Chen Yi depart and slowly sat down to savor the Spiritual Tea.

The beetle remained motionless, like an inanimate object.

As for Fang Xing, he wasn’t afraid of any losses, so he simply ordered to stay hidden.

An hour later, another figure pushed open the door and entered, "Wan Immortal Master..."

Wan Fenglin’s face imdiately showed a hint of a smile as he saw the visitor.

...

"These Cultivators, out of six persons, you’d find seven agendas..."

Inside the shack.

The basent.

Fang Xing watched multiple surveillance feeds, his face involuntarily expressing speechlessness.

Apart from Pill Master Wan Fenglin’s secret planning, imdiately after leaving Wan Fenglin’s place, Chen Yi raced to another location, surprisingly plotting with other Cultivators!

Though fearing the Cultivators’ discovery, Fang Xing instructed the monitoring hummingbirds to keep their distance, but he could guess they were conspiring.

"Luckily, I didn’t agree to go. Otherwise, playing mind gas with such sly old foxes, I wouldn’t necessarily outsmart them!"

"And now? Each of you will earn Gold Coins!"

Fang Xing felt his actions were always prudent, with self-awareness being key.

There was at least so order in the marketplace, and with the Golden Finger that could traverse two realms, perseverance would eventually lead to success!

If he ventured out of the marketplace for a re Elixir, that would be stupidity.

The son of a wealthy family must not be careless!

To seek out trouble is to invite it!

Thus, he was unmoved.

For Fang Xing, the worst-case scenario was simply missing out on the Elixir, thus being unable to get started with the Ghost God Saber.

In such a case, he would slow down his plans a bit and then, upon the next sester, seek out Xia Long to learn the ’Mad Eighteen Strikes,’ which would still be an A-grade Martial Art!

At most, it would delay his Cultivation, but he would still be able to attend a prestigious university, and that was enough!

Were he to face danger or even perish on this outing, that would be the real loss!

"These Pill Masters, the Five Righteous n of Cang Mountain, and those behind the scenes are really sothing... To go to such lengths for a bit of Demon Beast materials and a few Illusion Heart Orchids, Cultivators of this world sure have it tough..."

Fang Xing sighed, ready to sit back and enjoy the show.

Although he himself wouldn’t leave the marketplace, he was bold enough to secretly follow the others with a few drones.

...

The following day.

Fang Xing stood in a courtyard surrounded by fences, silently practicing the Military Boxing Twelve Styles.

Out of nowhere, a little radish-headed boy leaned over from next door, his eyes shining with curiosity, "Uncle... are you practicing Martial Arts?"

"Zijin, it’s not proper to be so ill-mannered," ng Yi pulled his son aside. The child was initially quite timid, but after tasting Fang Xing’s barbecue, he was eager to visit his neighbor’s house every day, much to his father’s distress.

He looked at Fang Xing and gave an apologetic smile.

Fang Xing ignored him, his life force circulating throughout his body; every move and style seed imbued with overwhelming power.

His qi and blood circulated throughout his body, gradually spreading from flesh to sinews and bones.

After completing a set of moves, he glanced at his attribute bar:

[Military Boxing Twelve Styles: 61/100 (Skilled)]

’Skill proficiency has improved again, not bad ...’

Ever since the Ghost God Saber had proven difficult to master, Fang Xing still devoted most of his energy to military boxing.

Now, this martial art could be described as having improved at a divine pace.

Perhaps this was due to his advancent to the Second Realm in Martial Arts; many parts of military boxing that used to be obscure now seed clear as day.

The higher the realm, the easier it beca to practice martial arts.

As for the issue of being seen?

Not to ntion the disdain for martial arts among martial artists around here, if the martial arts of the Blue Star Federation could be mastered just by observing a few demonstrations, then Xia Long and other teachers would have been out of a job long ago.

"ng brother!"

Fang Xing greeted ng Yi when he saw him, "Are you heading out?"

"No, just going to set up a stall ..."

ng Yi waved his hand nonchalantly, "With Yuxin taking Zijin out, as the head of the household, I have to go out and earn so spiritual sands..."

"I see, I wish you prosperous business."

Fang Xing genuinely wished him well, yet in his heart, he ridiculed the other for fooling ghosts!

According to the surveillance outside his house, that Shen Yuxin had sneaked out in the middle of the night.

Clearly, the group of five from Cang Mountain and the Pill Master were preparing to make a move to harvest the ’Illusion Heart Orchid’!

Yet here was ng Yi putting on an act to deceive him, obviously not trusting his neighbor!

’But that’s normal in a world where everyone is an old scher; if you’re not careful, you’ll die without leaving even your bones behind...’

Fang Xing understood this and watched ng Yi walk off into the distance.

ng Zijin returned ho, closing the doors and windows, appearing exceptionally obedient.

’Poor thing, so sensible it’s heartbreaking.’

Fang Xing sighed in his heart and returned to the basent of his house, staring at the monitor.

In the Wilderness, a plethora of drones shaped like beetles, lizards, and hummingbirds lay poised for action.

’Although I won’t be going, I will be watching the whole process, cheering you on ...’

...

Deep in the Great Wilderness.

Several hummingbird drones zipped through the jungle.

Through their tiny eyes, one could vaguely make out the tracks of a small team of cultivators moving ahead.

Fang Xing watched the screen silently and nodded, "They’re all a bunch of noobs, unable to even detect my hummingbird drones... But I can’t bla them; after all, it’s a recon thod beyond their understanding!"

One can’t earn money outside their cognitive scope, nor spot enemies beyond their knowledge!

Based on his experiences lurking around the cultivation marketplaces, he now had a deeper understanding of cultivators.

Most cultivators in the Qi Cultivation Stage didn’t have ’Divine Sense’ and couldn’t project it externally to locate enemies.

What they had was ’Spiritual Sense’, only capable of internal vision within themselves, as well as reading Jade Scrolls, among other things.

Despite this ’Spiritual Sense’ ability making Fang Xing, a struggling martial artist, envious to the point of turning green with jealousy.

Being able to internally visualize every detail of one’s body represented absolute control.

If a martial artist possessed this, it would mark them as a peerless genius!

Even so, Spiritual Sense couldn’t be projected outward, making it difficult to detect distant, tiny enemies.

Not to ntion, in the concept of cultivators, even the smallest puppet should be controlled by mana, presenting mana fluctuations.

But the simulated drones of the interstellar era obviously had no such mana fluctuations, not even the slightest trace of qi, and thus were easily overlooked.

"Their destination..."

Fang Xing commanded a hawk-shaped drone to fly high and saw a valley about a dozen miles ahead.

The valley was surrounded by steep cliffs, where the jet-black stones on the precipitous cliffs shone with a tallic luster, as if chiseled by axes and knives, with only one rugged path available for entry.

Calling it a ’path’ was rather generous; it was more of a gap in the canyon filled with many dangers.

"It must be here ..."

A hawk drone descended and saw a mist enveloping the valley.

As it approached, suddenly, there was a rustling noise.

Then...

A purple shadow flashed, and the hawk-shaped drone fell from the sky.

Hiss!

The wreckage of the drone hit the ground and imdiately let out a sizzling corrosion sound.

The simulated feathers fell off completely, and even on the chanical skeleton, small sparks of electricity erged, starting to dissolve...

The last image on the screen was a shadow of a purple scorpion!

"Purple Winged Scorpion? Such potent venom!"

Fang Xing utilized the computing power to restore the blurry image and saw a purple scorpion the size of a washbasin.

With a pair of wings on its back and its body encased in purple armor, it was a sight of incredible flight prowess.

"Purple Winged Scorpion, a Mid-grade First Rank Demon Beast, adults can match a mid-Qi Cultivation Stage cultivator, highly poisonous, prone to swarming. Once encountered, even cultivators in the late Qi Cultivation Stage dare not provoke it easily..."

Fang Xing silently read the basic information on the Purple Winged Scorpion, a hint of expectation wilting on his face: "Wan Fenglin, Cang Mountain Five... co on, give it your all."
