Tian Shen High granted a one-week break to the seniors following the hocoming dance. Having just made their debut in high society, they needed to assimilate into the respective social circles they aspired to join.

The seniors who stood out during the hocoming dance found themselves flooded with banquet invitations from prominent families and well-known organizations and companies. While still in the bud, these families sought to acquaint themselves with the younger generation, either for potential marriage prospects for their own children or to recruit them into their circles.

Seizing the opportunity, students expanded their networks and gained valuable experiences. The dia outlets were filled with reports of banquets hosted by influential families or companies eager to connect with the younger generation.

Several students were featured, such as the Young Master of the Jang family.

In the days that followed, Jang Shin received nurous invitations, though not comparable to the overwhelming attention directed at Bei Sangyun and Fei Chuan- the two people who get most of the attention from the dia.

Butler Xin faced another visit, this ti from the head butler of a certain family. He politely declined the invitation for his Young Miss to attend a tea party. The head butler of the other family was montarily stunned but eventually withdrew.

Butler Xin felt a twinge of regret at turning down the invitation. As he sighed in relief that it was over, two emails arrived from different companies, inviting Bei Sangyun to appear at an event before the week’s end.

Taking a deep breath, Butler Xin professionally and politely declined each email.

As Bei Sangyun’s personal butler, all invitations naturally ca through Butler Xin first. Bei Sangyun gave a directive to reject all invitations, and Butler Xin had no choice but to reluctantly comply. Even though he found it challenging to dismiss so particularly outstanding and tempting offers.

His experience working with Bei Sangyun had taught him that her actions always carried purpose. Despite the allure of certain invitations, he trusted that she had a valid reason for refusing them.

After sending his replies, Butler Xin powered off his phone. Out of sight, out of mind. Since he was going to reject them all, it was better to not see it at all.

He then headed to Bei Sangyun’s study room. He found his master engrossed in compiling a file at her desk.

Butler Xin did not disturb her. He proceeded to print out the files he needed to give out to Bei Sangyun.

Since the event, his master had been tirelessly occupied. She had contacted the company that auctioned the Tears of the rmaid and engaged in a conversation with the buyer’s owner.

The two talked on the phone and Butler Xin was sent out of the room. He was unaware of the details, and he couldn’t help but wonder about the conversation that prompted her to work through the night.

Butler Xin sneakingly glanced at the docunts that Bei Sangyun was imrsed in, he just couldn’t resist his curiosity.

"You will read this one later, so there’s no need to peek like a thief," Bei Sangyun remarked.

Butler Xin coughed awkwardly. "Do you need any assistance?"

Bei Sangyun continued her work while replying, "I am almost done. By the way, did anyone noteworthy send an invitation?"

Butler Xin ntioned nurous families and companies before expressing his concern, "If you continue rejecting these invitations, it might backfire on you. Others are accepting and making appearances. The Young Master from the Jang family attended a company event, and Lin Sunji was seen at a tea party hosted by the Mada of the Gu family. Everyone made an appearance in public except you. If this persists, you might be forgotten by the public. I believe you should take advantage of your peak fa."

"The value rises when there’s high demand, especially if its only available occasionally. Trust , those people will just continue wanting . Besides, isn’t Fei Chuan doing the sa? Have you not seen him at any events? Yet, many people are seeking him."

Butler Xin’s expression was perplexed. He couldn’t fathom why his master was comparing herself to that young boy; their situations were vastly different. Despite both becoming famous, the appearance of the ’Tears of rmaid’ had elevated his master’s value even further.

In Butler Xin’s mind, Bei Sangyun had a powerful and impactful image. Although the Fei Chuan he saw now was different from the gloomy boy he rembered, he still believed that Fei Chuan fell short as his master’s equal.

His master had shown interest in the boy, but Butler Xin thought that, aside from the boy’s handso appearance, there was nothing remarkable about him.

Butler Xin muttered to himself, "He is very different from you. He is unfavored by his family and he is unlikely to inherit any of their business. On the other hand, you are a strong contender for the heir and more capable than him. You support several companies in the shadows, and your potential is high. Whereas he... only has a handso face."

Bei Sangyun paused in her work and glanced at him with a raised brow, "Why does it sound like you don’t like him? Did he do sothing against you?"

Butler Xin remained silent.

Did he dislike that boy? No, he just felt that Fei Chuan was lacking in many ways and did not deserve the attention of his master. Soone as remarkable as his master deserved a truly exceptional partner.

Bei Sangyun didn’t wait for his answer, stating, "You don’t know him well and judge him based on what you see, but I’m telling you, he is deeper than you think. Actually, he has surpassed my expectations many tis."

Her eyes seed to reminisce about sothing as she softly muttered, "I didn’t know he was already powerful at this age. No wonder he was able to conquer the Fei family the mont he returned to the country."

Butler Xin, unable to make sense of her words, looked at her with a question in his eyes.

Bei Sangyun returned to reality and gave a wry smile, "I’ve been thinking of him as my rival, but from the start, I am nowhere near him. That’s why I need to work harder. The current is too weak."

Butler Xin raised an eyebrow in confusion.

Where was the part where Bei Sangyun was too weak? In his eyes, she already possessed the abilities of a great leader. She had surprised him nurous tis, displaying deep thinking beyond her age and his.

Initially, Butler Xin had been going with the flow, curious to see where this new Bei Sangyun would lead him. However, as he continued to follow her, he realized how shallow his thinking had been.

He learned a lot from her and, subconsciously, his initial motives were forgotten. He followed her with devotion, feeling that he had found the right person to dedicate his life to. He believed she would fulfill the wish he had harbored since entering the Lin family.

A person who could influence others was not weak. After the event, many had witnessed her charisma and her potential. Coupled with her arrival with the ’Tears of rmaid,’ his master captivated everyone.
