When Sophia and Richard were alone, Sophia confronted her brother.
"What are you doing?! You want that girl to be your fiancée? Are you out of your mind?!"
Richard sat on the couch, quite relaxed. "Don’t nag . Grandpa already gave a harsh scolding." When Richard said the last statent, his face turned bitter.
After they left Head Master Lin’s room, his grandfather glared at him as if he wanted to kill him. If not for the injuries on his face, his grandfather must have beaten him up. Mr. Simon gave him a harsh scolding, saying that if he ssed up once more, he would adopt soone from the family’s side branch instead and make that person the heir.
This kind of empty threat did not scare Richard. He was the sole grandson of his grandfather. Even though his grandfather was angry at him at the mont, it would pass. Besides, it’s not like he would keep Bei Sangyun forever. He would just play with her a bit then dump her when he had enough.
Marriage arrangents can easily be broken, after all. As for how he would do it, he had tons of ways.
But Sophia didn’t know his thoughts; she rushed to him, wanting to shake him off. "That girl is the one who made you this way. Have you forgotten the humiliation we suffered because of her? And now you want her to beco my sister-in-law?!"
Richard avoided Sophia. "Calm down. Do you think I am the kind of person who will just swallow my own pride and take responsibility for soone like her?"
Sophia paused and glared at Richard, letting him continue.
"You said it yourself. We can’t leave here being defeated and chased out. I can’t leave as well after that amount of effort I put into and suffering a hellish beating. I won’t let them go after I have gone this far. I refuse to go back without gaining anything at all," Richard explained with determined glint in his eyes.
Sophia finally understood her brother’s plan, and her eyes lit up. "You an...."
Richard saw from her expression that she understood his intention. He smirked evilly, "That’s right. How could I possibly give her up after all the troubles I went through? She needs to suffer as my toy. Isn’t being her fiancé the perfect position for that?"
Richard’s plan made perfect sense. Once Bei Sangyun beca his sister-in-law, they could invite her into their ho and play more tricks on her. Since their relationship won’t end, Sophia would have many chances to make things difficult for Bei Sangyun.
Sophia, no longer angry, finally cald down. "That’s a good plan, brother. How did you manage to co up with that plan in such a short ti? Alright, I’ll help you convince Grandpa and Father."
Richard nodded. But then he frowned, "However, our first hurdle is to apologize to Bei Sangyun. It doesn’t matter if she accepts or not. We must show our sincerity for Head Master Lin. You have to control your temper."
The happy look on Sophia’s face disappeared. Right, she had to apologize to that girl! Ugh! She hated it!

The twin ca to an agreent. They went back to their own room to rest. Everyone kept their own thoughts and feelings in their hearts. Deceit, anger, disappointnt, and frustration were concealed under the shadow of the night.
The servant assigned to Richard helped him to replace the bandage with new one and brought him a drink for his dicine. After applying the ointnt to his face and drinking the dicine, Richard prepared to rest.
The night deepened in the Lin mansion.
In the dim room, Richard’s breathing beca labored and heavy. He tossed and turned. Sweat covered his body, and his heart palpitated. Suddenly, his body beca hot, and all the heat gathered in his groin.
Richard’s mind was muddled by the sensation. All he wanted to do was to release his discomfort on his groin. His hand reached to that private area and began to relieve himself.
At this mont, his bedroom door opened, and a soft voice sounded.
"...Richard?"
Richard opened his eyes. The soft alluring voice suggested it was a woman. And right now, he badly needed soone to vent his stress.
Lin Xiaoni stepped into the room cautiously. "Richard? Are you asleep?"
As she called out to Richard, a figure suddenly appeared before her.
Lin Xiaoni was surprised to see Richard standing before her. His face was still partially bandaged, but that blond hair and green eyes were indeed Richard’s. She suddenly beca shy. After all, she found herself in his room in the middle of the night.
However, she had to confirm sothing. Tomorrow was the day he would leave, after all.
Lin Xiaoni gained courage and clung to his arm as her eyes turned teary, "Richard, are you really going to marry that lowly bitch? She doesn’t deserve you."
Richard slled the alluring fragrance on Lin Xiaoni’s body. The heat from her small hands and the softness of her body heightened his senses. His arousal intensified, clouding his mind.
He caught Lin Xiaoni’s hand. Without a word, he put her hand on his hardness.
Lin Xiaoni’s eyes went wide. She felt his arousal and looked at him in shock. However, she did not withdraw her hand.
"Richard-" Her words were cut off by his kisses.
A mont later, the sound of kissing, sucking, and a soft cry of calling Richard’s na sounded in the room.

In the building where the fifth branch of the Lin family lives, Xiao Mi, Lin Xiaoni’s mother, had just finished preparing breakfast. The servants around her cleaned up the kitchen and brought her specialty to the main hall dining table.
