A/n: This Chapter is fixed. Thank you for waiting.

****

Da Li walked towards the back of the old building with a heavy heart. He had been desperately wishing for that person’s arrival a few days ago. But now that he was here, Da Li did not know how to face him.

Should he be honest? But what if that person got angry because he couldn’t do what he asked?

But he has no other choice. There’s no way he could bully the tyrant as that person wants. His plan had failed, and he was now the one being played in the hands of that scary tyrant.

"What took you so long? You dare make wait?" A person appeared behind the old building. Richard had thrown away his gentle facade. There was no use in acting in front of a useless person.

Beside him was Sophia, who also had an impatient look on her face.

Da Li sweated facing these two. "I-I... read your ssage late."

"So you know how to make excuses," Richard said darkly. "You did not even report to until I called you. You dare take advantage of my kindness."

"N-not at all, boss! S-sothing just happened!"

Da Li now knew these siblings’ true faces. The fact that Richard was hiding the truth, that he could fluently speak their local language and was behind the order to bully the tyrant, was proof that this man was far from the gentle persona he showed to the public.

Such a man hiding his true face under a gentle mask was usually a psychopath.

Richard’s green eyes held contempt. He did not need to hear his excuses. He directly went to the topic. "I see that Bei Sangyun is perfectly fine. Care to explain why?"

"T-that..." Da Li wiped his sweat. "The tyrant realized our plan right away..." Da Li recounted the events that happened that day.

After they were caught and forced to confess, Bei Sangyun took his belongings, including his phone. They let him go after beating him up. But, of course, with Bei Sangyun’s lackey on their tails.

Da Li had totally lost the spirit to go against Bei Sangyun. The fact that Bei Sangyun still had the whole school under her command was proof that she was still the powerful tyrant. Her background as an illegitimate daughter seed to not affect her prowess at all.

So he did not dare to report to Richard. He was afraid the tyrant would learn of it and teach him another ’lesson’.

"What a useless person. How the heck did you select him? No wonder that bitch was so arrogant. Because she defeated thugs like you she thought she had the whole world," Sophia comnted.

Richard’s contempt towards Da Li grew stronger, "You got scared because of the words of a girl? Get your shit together." He grabbed his collar angrily. "Because of you, I wasted a lot of ti. If you had followed my instructions, she would have been at her wit’s end, and she would have fallen by my hand now."

"B-boss, don’t underestimate the tyrant. She is more powerful than you thought-"

Richard slapped his face a couple of tis, "Are you nagging ? Who gave you the right?"

Da Li obediently closed his mouth.

Richard let him go. "There’s no use in berating dimwitted people like you. But I’ll give you another chance. There will be a physical examination later. Before that happens, gather your n and bring them here to ."

Da Li hurriedly left to do what Richard ordered.

Sophia was leaning on the wall, looking bored. "You are now finally considering my suggestion? If you had followed my suggestion from the start, we wouldn’t have wasted so much ti."

"Bei Sangyun has a tough wall to break than expected. If I had enough ti, I wouldn’t proceed with this kind of plan. I enjoy the process of the hunt more than skinning the prey. But since I have to leave tomorrow, I have no choice but to finish the hunt," Richard said with narrowed eyes.

He was just considering this thod after Sophia suggested it. But when he saw Bei Sangyun’s attitude towards him and the way she treated Fei Chuan, the pride that had been hurt ate away at his heart.

How dare a prey mock and insult him? He would let her see that treating him that way had repercussions. She would regret choosing them as her enemy!

.....

The physical examination occurred every school year, with boys and girls being evaluated in separate buildings. As the star section, Class 3-1A was the first to be called for evaluation.

The doctor carefully read Bei Sangyun’s dical report. "Hmm. You were underweight last year. Fortunately, you gained a kilogram this year. However, your vital signs are below the average line. Are you sleeping well?"

"Yes. I slept well in the past few days," Bei Sangyun answered. She had found a trick to escape nightmares and slept well – hugging Fei Chuan’s coat at night.

For so reason, Fei Chuan’s coat worked like magic. This newfound discovery made Bei Sangyun suspect that the reason she could sleep well in her new desk and chair was because Fei Chuan was next to her. After all, every ti she fell asleep peacefully, Fei Chuan was nearby.

She hadn’t delved into that mystery, but she suspected that it must have sothing to do with Fei Chuan.

"Hmm. How about your appetite?" The doctor noticed the comnt of the previous doctor in Bei Sangyun’s dical report. "Is your sense of taste still sotis not working?"

Bei Sangyun paused. "It’s way better than before."

Compared to not being able to taste anything at all, Bei Sangyun was now able to eat a whole al, thanks to Fei Chuan.

"Hmm. How about your mood? Your report said you felt irritated and angry most of the ti. Is it still the sa?"

"...it is much better now. I can restrain it."

"Good. Still, you have to continue gaining weight and drink the vitamins as we recomnded..." The doctor wrote her findings as she further advised Bei Sangyun.

As they were about to finish, Bei Sangyun suddenly asked a question.

"Doc, is there any patient whose illness can’t be cured but suddenly gets better because of touching another person?"

Doctor Shin paused. An incurable illness suddenly improving because of a ’touch’? What kind of illness was that? Wasn’t that kind of thing supernatural?

"...I haven’t encountered anything like that in the years I’ve worked in the dical field. What sort of illness is it? And how do they make contact?"

"...It’s a severe case of ageusia. That person is able to recover her taste temporarily as long as the other person touches her food or they share the sa spoon."

Doctor Shin: "...." What kind of case was that? Was it fictional?

Seeing the speechless look on Doctor Shin’s face, Bei Sangyun just laughed it off. "I just read it sowhere. It must not be true."

Doctor Shin scratched her head, "...I haven’t heard anything like that. But you know, so cases of ageusia are caused by extre stress and depression. Perhaps that person suffers from that root cause, and the other person is a big factor who helps her relax. Like a comfort zone. She must have felt secure and comfortable around that person." Doctor Shin could only answer with the knowledge she had about ageusia.

Bei Sangyun lowered her eyes.

He was her comfort zone?

"I see..."

...

Bei Sangyun ca out of the building in deep thought. The doctor’s words made her aware of so things she hadn’t thought about before. The picture in her mind was getting clearer.

Suddenly, a male student blocked her way.

He seed familiar, but Bei Sangyun didn’t have the ti to recall him because he shouted as soon as he saw her.

"B-boss! Da Li gathered his n and took Fei Chuan! They brought him to the old building! We must hurry!"

Bei Sangyun woke up from her thoughts. Her eyes turned cold. "Lead the way."

....

There was a long line of students in the hallway. Boys were rowdy and mischievous when left alone. Their nosy chattering reverberated in the hallway.

Fei Chuan ca out from one of the evaluation rooms.

Because he was from the star section, he got the privilege to get evaluated early and leave early. Among his class, he was the first to get tested.

Fei Chuan had been thinking about Richard’s dark look since earlier. That gaze filled with malice as he gazed on Bei Sangyun bothered his thoughts.

Since he had seen it, it was very hard to not think about it.

As Fei Chuan passed by the other class, he noticed that so of the lowest sections only had a few students. He rembered there was soone nad Da Li, the leader of the bullies in Class 3-5C. But how co that big bully and his n weren’t there?

Fei Chuan was intuitive. Once he doubted, there was a good reason for it.

Fei Chuan approached one of the persons in that class. "Where are your other classmates?"

The other person imdiately recognized him. He was the target! The tyrant’s favorite!

Then he must be looking for Da Li!

"I-I don’t know what you are talking about," the student replied with his eyes wandering.

Fei Chuan imdiately sensed sothing. "You know what happens if you offend the tyrant, right? Do you want to be the new target? I can pass the title to you."

If he hadn’t seen Richard’s expression, he wouldn’t react like this. But his instinct was telling him that sothing bad was going to happen. Seeing an obvious clue, he could not just let it pass by.

He doesn’t have much ti, so he chose to use this cheap trick. After all, the tyrant’s frightening image in the student’s heart was too strong.

As expected, the student’s eyes wavered. "Agh... Please don’t tell Da Li that it was who told you! They gathered in the old building. I don’t know what for, but I am sure they are going to bully soone. They always do that."
