The weekend quickly arrived.
Due to Lin Ginxian’s and Sophia’s insistence, Bei Sangyun found herself compelled to take the Simons out once again.
Bei Sangyun glanced at the calendar, her eyes settling on the red mark indicating Sunday. She pondered, wondering how she could avoid spending Sunday evening with the Simon children.
An idea suddenly crossed her mind, and she swiftly summoned Butler Xin to make the necessary arrangents.
...
Bei Sangyun took the initiative to seek out the Simon children, surprising both Sophia and Richard.
Bei Sangyun rarely visited them unless they sought her out first. Sophia eagerly stuck to Bei Sangyun’s side, while Richard set down his phone and flashed a flirtatious smile at her.
"I have a good place in mind. We’ll depart in an hour," Bei Sangyun inford them.
Sophia jumped with excitent. "I’m in! What should I wear? Can you help pick a dress?"
"You can wear anything you like, but I suggest you choose sothing comfortable. As for the rest, I’ll take care of it."
A mocking gleam flashed in Sophia’s eyes. Did this woman finally realize the predicant she was in?
As her brother had ntioned, Bei Sangyun was just waiting for the right opportunity to assert control over them.
Unfortunately for her, they had seen through her intentions. She should have been more friendly with them from the beginning. Now, all Sophia wanted was to make Bei Sangyun feel as if she had complete control, only to crush her when she was at her happiest.
Sophia’s smile deepened. "Alright, see you in an hour!"
Richard stood up and followed Bei Sangyun.
Bei Sangyun noticed his presence behind her, she paused and turned to frown at him.
Richard also halted and gazed at Bei Sangyun suggestively. "How about ? Can you help pick out so clothes?"
Bei Sangyun’s expression turned cold. "I’m not very good at selecting clothes for n. If you want, I can send my butler to assist you."
Richard blinked. He had believed he was conveying the ssage clearly.
Wasn’t it ti for Bei Sangyun to make her move? He was practically offering himself to her on a silver platter, yet she was rejecting his proposal?
Richard was montarily baffled. Could it be that she didn’t get the ssage?
"If there’s nothing else, I’ll head out first. I’ll et you downstairs in an hour," Bei Sangyun said, her pace was fast, she seed to be in a hurry to leave this place.

The scenery outside shifted from the bustling tropolitan city to vast fields and picturesque mountains. The car had been on the road for three hours now.
The journey felt even longer than when Lin Xiaoni had taken Sophia and Richard to a famous hot spring resort. As the two gazed out the windows, the urban skyline gradually gave way to open green landscapes.
The siblings hadn’t expected Bei Sangyun to take them to the countryside, and their patience began to wear thin. They kept asking Bei Sangyun for updates.
"Aren’t we there yet?"
Bei Sangyun sat in the passenger seat calmly. "Almost there."
Sophia and Richard: "...." She had been saying that an hour ago.
Another hour into the journey, Sophia’s patience finally ran out. "Why is this journey taking so long? Where exactly are you taking us?"
"You said you wanted to have so fun, and I’m taking you to a place where we can have fun," Bei Sangyun vaguely replied.
Sophia was on the brink of bursting with frustration when Richard decided to intervene. "It looks like our destination is so far away. Could you please be honest and tell us how much farther we have to go?"
Bei Sangyun flashed a serene smile. "We’re almost there."
Sophia and Richard exchanged incredulous glances.
Thankfully, this ti, Bei Sangyun’s statent turned out to be accurate. After another ten minutes, the car finally ca to a halt.
They stepped out of the car, and the crisp, refreshing breeze enveloped them, clearing their minds. Their surroundings were nothing but mountains and lush greenery. In front of them stood an old-fashioned inn.
Sophia and Richard took a deep breath, reveling in the fact that the air in this place was at least ten tis fresher than what they were accustod to in the bustling tropolitan area.
Bei Sangyun instructed the driver to remove their belongings from the car’s trunk. Once this was done, the driver promptly left, much to Sophia and Richard’s astonishnt.
"Hey, the car is leaving without us!"
Bei Sangyun reassured them, pointing to the inn in front of them. "Everything we need is right here at this inn. I’ve already reserved a room for each of us, so let’s store our belongings there."
"Wait a minute," Richard interrupted Bei Sangyun. "How long are we supposed to stay here?"
"We’ll be here until we’re done with our activity."
"What activity?"
"I’ll explain later. Don’t worry, the driver will return before midnight."
Sophia and Richard exchanged bewildered glances, observing the rather shabby-looking inn and the ordinary tourists and locals around them.
Despite their travels to various countryside locations worldwide, they had never experienced such discomfort. Born with golden spoons, they had always been accommodated in luxury inns during their trips.
Sophia asked, her face displaying evident disgust, "Isn’t there a better inn around here?"
Bei Sangyun clutched her bag and replied, "This is the only inn in this area. Your room is 101, and your brother’s is 102. Mine is 105." She then distributed bags she had prepared for the siblings. "All your essentials are inside. You can leave them in the inn or take them with you for our journey."
"Essentials...? Journey? What exactly are we going to do?" Sophia’s expression shifted to one of panic. She had a bad feeling about this.
Bei Sangyun gestured toward the tallest mountain, its peak obscured by clouds.
"See that tall mountain over there? They say the view from the top is like a different world. We’re going to have a lot of fun~ hiking up that mountain," she declared with a mischievous grin.
"H-hiking?" Sophia’s complexion paled. They were going to climb a mountain?!
Bei Sangyun glanced at Sophia’s dress and patted her shoulder. "Luckily, I brought so sportswear for you. It’s in your backpack. I’ll see you in half an hour."
With that, Bei Sangyun left the bewildered siblings to process their newfound "adventure."
