"No one said that to our face though," Vivian leaned back on the seat with a smile in her face.
Even though they are not from an aristocratic family, the McAllisters are well respected and politically influential in the country and people always behaved carefully around them.
And as expected, this Brunton doesn’t care. She knew because of the class system in their country, the aristocrats doesn’t give them much respect, but this Brunton,even though was blunt, Vivian felt Talia’s words weren’t rooted in supremacy but she was rely candid.
She had only heard about her. Everyone in the country liked her until that incident. She knew Cyril cared for her very much even though she was the one who killed his brother. He never told her the reason and she never cared much either.
She always wanted to et her and this was the first ti she talked to her and she already liked her.
" Did Cyril tell you we are getting married?" Vivian added and looked at Cyril who just shrugged with a grimace.
"You didn’t?" she punched his arm and Cyril just looked outside with a pout.
When was he free to talk about his wedding? Isn’t the wedding almost a year away? Also shouldn’t the bride take care of the wedding arrangents? Why is he being blad?
"Congratulations!" Talia said heartily. Getting married is a good thing.
"Thanks, I’ll send you an invite. It’s a winter wedding. And may I ask you a favour? You can totally say no, " Vivian was slightly embarrassed as she played with her Cartier diamond ring in her left ring finger.
"Yes?" Talia decided to listen. She is Jordan’s sister and Cyril’s wife-to-be. She didn’t mind.
"I’ve already found the designer for my wedding dress. And she said about a particular lace pattern traditionally done in Rosandale and it’s na... It goes like carimacr..."
"Carrickmacross?" Talia corrected her.
"Hmm, yes! You seem to know that... Can you help get it? It seems like they won’t give it to a designer from Esteria. I just love a particular pattern I saw before..."
"Send the pattern with details. I’ll get it for you," Talia didn’t mind. Wedding day is the biggest day for any woman and every woman has dreams about her wedding dress.
And Vivian is the most beautiful woman she knows and she must shine in her wedding. It is not sothing big and she can get it for her.
And aren’t those people petty not selling their products to soone from another country?
She already got so for Rebecca and she didn’t mind getting it for Vivian too. No one will refuse to send it to her since she is their Princess.
Vivan was flabbergasted hearing the nonchalant way Talia replied. She thought she needed to beg or grovel to her or at least give sothing in exchange. She never thought Talia Brunton would agree to help her this easily. She liked her more.
"Thank you. You have no idea how much relieved I am," Vivian got emotional.
She had tried for the past couple months using every source she got to get that lace, but failed. Even a well known seamstress from a haute couture brand was refused. She had lost hope on that matter and decided to get so other lace. But now, she was exhilarated!
When you get sothing you dearly wanted after losing all hope, it would being you great joy. And so she was so happy.
Cyril was rolling his eyes hard sitting by the side by his fiancée’s shaless request to a woman she never t. But he was more surprised that Talia agreed and... Vivian is actually in tears?
She didn’t cry when he knelt in front of her and proposed to her! And she is crying for a piece of lace? Won are.... Weird.
Poor Cyril didn’t understand as brides arrange for their wedding they get extrely emotional for little things, much less for their wedding gown.
He looked at her reddened eyes and held her hand to console her not able to bear it and Vivian bit her lips with a smile.
"Talia Brunton," Vivian said taking in a deep breath, "I don’t know much about what’s between you and Arthur Sinclair.. But from what I heard from Jordan, he loves you so much. And it seems like a lot happened lately and Arthur is having a lot of plans to himself, hiding it even from Jordan. I’m sure so things are going to change and I can safely bet Arthur will not betray you. I sincerely hope you get together with him if that’s what you want... "
" Okay... "
Talia don’t know why she spoke about Arthur suddenly and her heart filled with sadness once again.
What could he be planning? Will he be in any danger?
She looked down and saw the locket in her lap and thoughts about Cyrus weighed her mind.
" Can you pass the phone to Cyril?" she asked. There is one more thing she wanted to ask him.
"Yes. Get married soon and invite to your wedding too, okay? Let’s et when I co to the city for my gigs," Vivian spoke in a cheerful tone and passed the phone to Cyril.
"He’s being watched closely" Cyril decided to tell her so truth. She seed to make his woman happy enough to cry and she might deserve it.
"By who?" Talia rubbed her forehead. It makes sense. If her phone got hacked, his phone can be too.
"Not sure. But they want you, Talia. And..." he wanted to ask what Cyrus’ last words were but he decided not to ask now since Thomas was in the front. He is not a very little boy and he might understand these conversations.
"It’s not safe for you to be in a place with caras everywhere. Why don’t you move to Rosandale?" Cyril asked.
With what happened with Prince Edward, she won’t be allowed back in Esteria for now. But the Rosandale Royals are powerful and they will protect her well.
Talia smiled dryly, "Cyril, if I seek asylum in Rosandale now, will I ever be able to step one foot inside Esteria? Will the council allow to return?"
All Cyril could do was sigh. She is right. In this situation, if she goes to Rosandale imdiately, it would only spark tensions.
But she is planning to return? He thought she had no such plans.
Cyril could get an idea what Arthur might be planning. He should be paving way for her return to Esteria.
"What did you find about Stacy, my secretary?"
Talia wanted to ask Cyril. She was sure Stacy should be the one who outed her location to those rcenaries.
And, If the Lockhart family is the one protecting her till then, they must have run background checks on everyone around her.
She always found Stacy a bit too pushy. And when she t her father, she felt a weird vibe that she had t him sowhere before.
Cyril smirked. She had learnt sothings from Cyrus. He learnt of how quick she changed her clothes to make an escape. She’s smart and willing to survive. And now she had already figured out who might have leaked informations about her to her enemy.
"Not much. I’m still looking," Cyril didn’t find any red flags about her in the past but he needs to dig deeper.
"Look into her father... If he’d been to Esteria or Rosandale. I felt weird vibes from him..." Talia bit her lips contemplating.
"Hmm," Cyril knitted his brows.
Weird vibes? But he is worth looking into. In fact he has already decided to look into her parents and grandparents already.
"Congratulations on your marriage... And let the boy have his mother. Bye," Talia decided to insist Cyril.
"Bye," Cyril ended the call and looked at the boy sitting in the front seat. He had already fallen asleep.
He saw the blond hair sprawled all over his chest. Vivian was hooking his arm around his and was sending test ssages to soone. With a smile he pushed her hair aside to look at Vivian’s face.
She was smiling widely and he could see she’s texting her sisters that she has found the lace she wanted and it was Talia Brunton who promised to help her get it.
He leaned back on the seat running his fingers through his hair. His woman seed to be so happy and if she is happy, her entire family would be happy, especially those sisters.
’Talia... Did you know what you just did? You just got the entire McAllister family’s support!’
In the future, no matter who stands by her side or not, just for this little help, the entire McAllister family will stand by her side. Just because Talia made their little Vivi happy and help her a piece of cloth.
He couldn’t say if Talia planned it or not. But she did gain herself a strong ally.
The McAllisters who always stayed away from the feud, seed to take the Sinclair family side when their son started following Arthur. And now Talia got the hearts of the sisters and since Arthur and Talia are on the sa side, the McAllisters are against the nobles against the Brunton family.
And now with the marriage alliance between McAllister family and Lockhart family who oppose Brunton family in public, many will be confused whose side the Lockhart family will choose.
The coming few months are going to be fun!

He closed his eyes knowing his little fiancée won’t bother with him now that she is talking with her sisters.

He rembered what Talia said.
Cyrus was always careful and he never would have doubted if he accidentally made a woman pregnant. He used to say, his Princess has psychic qualities and what she says cos to pass.
Maybe he searched for Callia after Talia spoke to him about him becoming a father and found out she was pregnant?
Or... Soone sent him the image to blackmail him?
Cyril breathed deeply.
Till then, he was under the assumption that his brother never knew about the child. And so when looking for the one who might have forced him to take his life, he always considered that that person might have threatened the life of Talia to make sure Cyrus dies.
But... Could it be, Cyrus was blackmailed with the life of his child?
If so, Cyrus would have found a way to save the mother and child without him dying, wouldn’t he?
Apart from that, what did they gain from making Cyrus die in the hands of Talia?
That was odd. Why make Talia kill Cyrus?
But if thought deeply, Talia ended up getting depressed and suffered. She lost her place in her country. People still don’t accept her.

In any case, with this new developnt, it would be wise to have Callia with them. She might rember what happened that day Cyrus died and of she found sothing weird.
