Talia heard that Lambert talked with Louis to explain his side to the public – that he wanted the position of the Duke and Talia had nothing to do with it. But Louis refused as he must.
The thing with giving out statents each ti soone talks bad about you is that it will beco a habit. At first, people will expect you to give explanations, but then their expectations will turn to demands.
It is exactly why suing for misinformation can backfire. If you keep on suing every ti they print a wrong story about you, people will start to believe every story that you didn’t sue for, since they’ll believe they are true. Suing is taxing and no one can control the stories getting printed about them.
But Lambert did a tricky move with the consent of Jolene. He leaked a picture of him and Jolene to the press and the entire attention turned to their relationship. Then there were puff pieces about them revealing their long-term relationship. Articles were written about how Jolene is running one of the best companies in Rosandale and how she is not planning on giving it up.
Of course, people caught up and so doubted if Lambert wanted to take the title of Duke purposefully for the sake of his love. Talia called Jolene and talked to her since she knew it won’t be long before the press will start blaming Jolene.
But Jolene was in good spirits. She knew she has to face the scrutiny of the press and even the public if she wants to marry Lambert. Lambert is the heartthrob of many young won in the country and anyone marrying him will be put through hell.
Since Talia could see Jolene is prepared for what is to co, she felt relieved. After ensuring that she will help her in case she asks for it, Talia ended the call.
Days passed and with no acceptance or refusal from the palace about Lambert’s change of title, that story beca old and it got replaced with pregnancy hoaxes about Talia.
It has been three months after Talia’s wedding and although they’ve been doing it more often without any protection, Talia didn’t get pregnant. She was a little sad everyti her periods arrived. She could see her great-grandmother expected to see her children soon and it would dampen her mood at tis.
In those tis, it would be Arthur making her mood better. He was busy these days with the expansion of the Northern Star in a new country and Talia decided to stay in Rosandlae for the ti being.
She had grown very fond of Raphael and he proved himself to be a very smart and capable assistant. The only downside to him is at tis he’d go down the hole of hacking and gaming and will forget the word exists. At those tis, he needs to be given a slap – a literal slap, to bring him back to reality.
Talia once t his father and asked why he is not arranging a marriage for his son. His reply was curt.
’Why would I knowingly ruin a girl’s life?’
Talia tried to find his preferences and find a girl for him. She was bored, she didn’t have any big projects coming on, and Arthur was busy. So she decided to put her matchmaking skills to good use once again.
She knew he needed soone opposite of him, but soone who could be understanding of him. If both of them are gaming addicts, they will forget they are married. But if she thinks lowly of gars and hackers, she won’t get along with him.
And so Talia searched for the right candidates for Raphael And found a handful of them. She asked Raphael to take a look at the list and he looked at her weirdly.
"What? I cannot keep on employing soone who can’t even find himself a date!"
Talia said and he pouted. Lots of ti, she would have to discipline him sternly. It was a little botherso, but Talia really wasn’t willing to lose a good assistant like him. He knew it too and will act cocky at tis.
"You won’t fire ," he looked at her.
"You want to bet?" she asked and he got frightened.
"What is it?" she raised her voice seeing him acting suspicious. He was drawing on the floor with his toes and he was pondering sothing.
"That..." he gulped and broke his eye contact with her. "I found a girl... and..."
"And?"
"She’d be perfect for , but..."
"But?"
"I don’t know how to talk to her," he said and Talia wanted to laugh at the innocent boy in front of her.
"If you haven’t talked to her, how do you know she is perfect for you?" she asked and watched him getting flustered.
"Raphael?" she gritted her teeth having so idea how he knew about that girl. "You hacked her, didn’t you?"
"..."
"You bloody rascal!"
Talia started her lecturing and Raphael listened to her with his eyes filled with tears.
"If you don’t know what to say to her, start with an apology. And co back to work after you go on a date!" she ordered.
Having no other way, Raphael, who was pushed to talk to a girl, succeeded in getting a date. Talia didn’t think he could do it, but he got a date after apologising to that girl.
He ca to work a couple of days later with a picture as proof and Talia was glad because the girl Ra[hael liked was on her list.

As Talia was procrastinating, Celine ca to et her and she had a surprise to announce.
"Ta-da! Look at my rock!" she showed the pink diamond engagent ring and Talia screeched in joy. Celine ca to et Talia even before she announced it to her extended family and that made Talia’s heart go all mushy.
Another month passed and Talia was doubtful if she is pregnant. Her period was two weeks late and still, she had no symptoms of pregnancy like morning sickness. Other than getting constipated, she didn’t feel any different than usual.
She decided to wait for a couple of days until the weekend to do the test using a strip. She was scared to get excited in case it is not pregnancy. She didn’t talk about it to Arthur either since she didn’t want to get his hopes up.
She asked her reliable bodyguard, Sir Robert, to buy her the tests and he had a face filled with happiness. He tried to control it, but he couldn’t.
Since the instructions said the first morning urine will give better results, Talia decided to hide her tests for the morning. She could feel Arthur growing suspicious of her, but she insisted she is hiding nothing.
The whole night, she couldn’t sleep out of excitent. She wanted to be pregnant so badly. She thought of ways to break the news to Arthur if she is pregnant.
I should epically inform him! I should surprise him and keep a record of his reaction...
She started dreaming.
