905: Chapter 901 Next One 905: Chapter 901 Next One Brian hung up the phone, his face grave as he turned to Paul beside him, “Jack just called, we are heading to Iraq.”
“What for?”
“To help Jethro seize territory, it’s simply ‘obey and live, defy and be eradicated.'”
“What?
So soon?
Weren’t we supposed to collect the money first?
We don’t have ti to implent our plan.”
Rubbing his hands vigorously, Brian whispered, “Jack wants to take Woody to Iraq.
Having a doctor around feels safer, so he needs soone to replace Woody until the doctor arrives.
That’s when we can head out.”
“A new doctor?
When will they arrive?”
“Should be soon, tonight at the earliest, tomorrow at the latest.”
“That’s still tight on ti,” Paul frowned, “Where did he find this doctor, and how good are they?”
“Supposedly top-notch.
Jack spent two million US Dollars for a favor, reliable, in all aspects.”
“Two million?
That’s too costly!
It’s just about treating so injuries, not battlefield surgery, how could it cost so much?”
“When you pay a price no one can refuse, you get a doctor in the shortest ti without owing favors.
It’s quite standard.
Besides, we are loaded now, you understand?
The Organization of Water has money now; money can solve any problem.”
Paul was dead serious, “How much have they gotten?”
Brian extended one hand.
“Five hundred million?”
“Over fifty billion US Dollars, and another fifty billion ready in the bank, all as good as cash.”
“F*ck, we’ve struck gold!
We won’t have funding issues anymore!”
Rubbing his hands again, Brian murmured, “We’ve got money, the Organization of Water will inevitably recruit more people.
Jack hasn’t shared any concrete plans with , but I think we can really go all out now, right?”
“What do you an?”
“We start recruiting now, find our old brothers.
Who have you managed to contact?”
“I’ve got contacts for ten of our guys, Charles found four, aning we have fourteen contacts in total, but no guarantees they’ll co.”
“What are we waiting for then, call them.
Tell them we can guarantee a million-dollar annual salary!”
“Shouldn’t we check with Jack first?
A million a year isn’t a small figure…”
“We’re loaded now!
And, doesn’t Pandora Box’s personnel deserve a million-dollar salary?”
“Are you joking?
If we find soone from Pandora Box for a million a year, Jack’s making a huge gain.
Alright, I’ll make the call.”
“Right, who’s first?”
Paul thought for a mont, then said, “To Black Jack, I heard he’s been having a hard ti.”
“Okay, call him.”
“Boss, I think maybe you should make the call?”
Brian hesitated, then shook his head, “No, you call.”
Paul took a deep breath, prepared himself with his satellite phone, and finally dialed.
The phone rang for quite a while before soone answered, a groggy voice said, “Who calls at this hour?”
“Black Jack, this is Holy Water.”
“Holy Water?
Oh, shit.
Are you trying to preach to , brother?
What do you need from ?”
“One million annual salary, side by side in battle, you in?”
The line went silent for a while, then Black Jack said softly, “You struck gold?”
“Uh…”
Paul glanced at Brian, then murmured low, “Haven’t you heard?
The boss is out, I’m with him now!”
“Shut up!
Of course, I heard, I just can’t believe you forgave that traitor.
F*ck off!
Don’t bother , and tell that traitor to go to hell!”
The call was abruptly cut off.
Paul, looking slightly embarrassed, put down the phone, and helplessly looked at Brian.
Brian pursed his lips, then whispered, “That wasn’t a secure line, right?”
“Right, he could see the number, should we… destroy this phone now?”
Brian sighed, then spoke sternly, “One, two, three…”
“What are you counting?” Paul frowned.
“Ten, he’ll call back.”
Brian appeared confident, yet Paul’s phone remained silent, prompting an awkward silence.
Graphically embarrassed, Brian chuckled, then suddenly said, “Oh, it’s an international call, he might not be able to call back imdiately, or there’s a delay.
Let’s count down again, ten, nine, eight…”
The phone rang again.
Paul, looking astonished, answered the call, then murmured, “Black Jack, I knew…”
“Shut up, is that traitor next to you?
He must be; let him take the phone!”
Paul looked at Brian, Brian thought for a mont, and took over the phone, speaking heavily, “Hello, Black Jack.”
“I knew you were there, you damn bastard!
How dare you call ?
Huh?
How dare you pick up my phone?
Why haven’t you died!
F*ck!
The only thing I regret is not cursing you out more!
You should be dead, you should be…”
Brian clicked off the phone.
Paul shrugged, “Change the phone, next one to Jackson.”
“No, he’ll call back, this ti I’ll talk properly with him, I know Black Jack.
Trust , once he starts cursing, he’s in.”
About thirty seconds later, the phone rang again, then Black Jack roared furiously, “How dare you hang up on ?
You damn bastard!
It should be hanging up on you!”
Brian commanded, “Shut up!
One last chance.
I’ll have a few words with you, if you keep yelling, I won’t pick up your calls ever again.
Now…
attention!”
After Brian shouted, the line on the other end miraculously went quiet, then after a mont, Black Jack, panting with anger, said, “Damn!
Really damn!
Okay, what do you wantto say?
What do you plan to explain?
I’m listening, go on.
Let hear how you’ll trick , say it, go on!”
Slowly, Brian said, “I didn’t betray, I was frad, now I’ve obtained the evidence.
If you want to know what really happened, if you seek revenge, if you want to help clear my na, co find .”
“What did you say?
Are you serious?
You were frad, shit…
okay boss, I believe you.
I’m coming to find you; I’ll leave imdiately.
Tell where you are!”
“et in Baghdad, if you can make it there.”
“I’m on my way, I’ll be there.
How do I contact you?”
Without hesitation, Brian said, “Call this number when you arrive, keep calling until you get through.
That’s it, see you there.”
Brian imdiately hung up the phone, turned it off, handed it to Paul, and said, “Put it in a signal-blocking container, turn it on again in Baghdad, next one.”
