87: Chapter 86 Repeat Offender Zone 87: Chapter 86 Repeat Offender Zone The next morning, when the wake-up bell startled him awake, Yang Yi looked over at Chris before climbing out of bed.

Chris sat on his bed, his face haggard, eyes bloodshot.

“Hey, didn’t sleep all night?

You’re not that fragile, are you?”

Chris lifted his head, looked at Yang Yi, and then shaking his head he said, “No, I will never fall for your tricks, I will never co to you, never!”

Yang Yi washed his face, then spoke indistinctly while brushing his teeth, “Suit yourself, I told you the choice is yours.”

Clenching his teeth, Chris said, “Besides, it’s just a ridiculous test, just a chance to test !

Who do you think you are, you can beat , you can kill , but you don’t get to insult my intelligence!”

Yang Yi rinsed his mouth, then wiped his face with a towel, laughing, “Suit yourself.”

Chris lay back down on his bed forcefully, then shouted loudly, “I’m answering you now, I refuse!”

Yang Yi didn’t speak, he just smiled and then stood by the cell door waiting to leave.

He was going to the maximum security area today; Yang Yi had no ti to deal with Chris.

But Yang Yi felt Chris would co to the maximum security area looking for him, because he knew what Chris wanted most.

After being released from prison, Chris might quickly make a lot of money, but he couldn’t regain what he had lost, because it wasn’t money he wanted.

Therefore, Yang Yi could certainly throw out bait to lure a very skilled con artist.

Others couldn’t give Chris what he wanted, and Yang Yi… actually couldn’t either, but that wouldn’t stop him from deceiving Chris for the ti being, right?

Yang Yi did tell a partial truth; he had only given Chris a chance to be tested.

Yang Yi did indeed need people, but he couldn’t bring everyone into his team.

So, if Chris was suitable, he’d keep him, if not, then it’s over – after all, if Chris didn’t pass the test, then it was only fair for Yang Yi not to give him what he wanted, right?

So, if Chris passed the test but Yang Yi couldn’t give him what he wanted, then it would be a scam; but if Chris didn’t pass the test, then it was just a verbal trap.

This was a straight hook fishing for the willing.

Yang Yi was excited now; he was about to go to the maximum security area, about to et Zhang Yong, so he didn’t have the ti to pay attention to Chris, and this just helped maintain his image of being unfathomable.

Indeed, seeing Yang Yi’s carefree deanor, Chris beca even more entangled.

When the cell door opened, Chris suddenly sat up from his bed and said urgently to Yang Yi, “By what right do you claim you can fulfill my wish?

By what right?”

Yang Yi did not answer Chris; he simply smiled indifferently and walked out of the cell.

Chris didn’t follow him out.

Yang Yi moved along with the group at a slow pace, going for breakfast.

This ti, when everyone saw Yang Yi, there was no more jeering; even the arrogant gang mbers kept a respectful distance.

In the dining hall, there were still people going around collecting food from others’ plates, but the enforcers of the Boxing King were gone, and those who used to cluster around him had started to look for a new backer.

The black people had their own gangs; even if Yang Yi had killed the Boxing King, the Boxing King’s followers were unlikely to defect to Yang Yi, but they didn’t even dare to make eye contact with him.

Having proven himself in the fight, no one in the low-security section would bother Yang Yi again, but alas, Yang Yi was about to leave.

While Yang Yi was having his al, an inmate cautiously approached his table before softly asking, “Sir, would you like milk or bread?”

Yang Yi looked up at the person speaking to him and shook his head with a smile, “I don’t want anything.”

The inmate, looking disappointed, walked away with his tray, and that’s when Buddy sat down next to Yang Yi with a plastic bag, curiously asking, “Aren’t you planning to gather so lackeys for yourself?

You killed the Boxing King, and lots of people want your protection.”

Yang Yi shrugged, “Sure, I’d like that, but I’m about to leave.

Since I can’t offer protection, it’s best not to take people’s stuff.

I’m quite fair and I stick to my principles.”

Buddy placed the plastic bag in front of Yang Yi with a smile, “Your cigarettes, you won forty packs, pal, you made a killing, and so did I, congratulations to both of us.”

Yang Yi looked at Buddy and smiled, “Shouldn’t it be forty-four packs?”

“That’s the cut, alright buddy, your bet is paid, see you.”

Yang Yi looked up at Buddy, “Thanks, mate.”

Buddy hurriedly said in a tense voice, “Don’t thank , you earned your bet.

No need to say anything else, see you pal.”

Buddy didn’t want anyone to know that he had helped the Boxing King during the cage fight with Yang Yi, even though it was very subtle.

But still, Buddy couldn’t let anyone find out that he had ever changed his stance of absolute neutrality.

Yang Yi didn’t look at the cigarettes in the plastic bag, but he knew that this ti most people had lost big, of course, there were also those who had won big.

People kept coming up to Yang Yi, so offering cigarettes, others willing to give him the best part of their al in exchange for his protection, but Yang Yi didn’t take anything.

It wasn’t until breakfast was over and Chris hadn’t shown up that a guard stood in front of Yang Yi and loudly said, “3387, you are being transferred to the high-risk area due to your severe violent tendencies.”

What followed was all but expected; Yang Yi took the cigarettes he had won with him, a valuable currency inside prison that even the guards would respect certain rules and not confiscate.

Then he returned to his cell to pack his toiletries and bedding and went to collect a set of orange inmate uniforms for those serving heavy sentences, and was then taken to the high-risk inmate area.

The cells for high-risk and low-risk inmates were separate, as were the canteens, but they shared the sa yard and bathrooms, though their use was strictly staggered in ti.

Yang Yi hoped to be transferred to the high-risk area before the yard ti for those inmates, so he could et Zhang Yong as soon as possible.

And indeed, Yang Yi was transferred to the high-risk area before their yard ti.

As Yang Yi was being escorted past the cells of high-risk inmates, he imdiately noticed the differences between them and the low-risk inmates.

The high-risk inmates had a different look in their eyes; they made no attempt to hide their ferocity.

“Hey, sweetheart, look at , give a smile!”

“Monkey!

Monkey, look here, you got any bananas to eat?”

Yang Yi was young and handso, and he was new, so as he passed those cells, he was subjected to almost everyone’s abuse and mockery, until he saw an Asian man.

An Asian man in his thirties sat quietly in his single cell.

As Yang Yi walked by, he only glanced over nonchalantly.

That was Zhang Yong, matching exactly the description given by Danny.

Yang Yi hadn’t expected to see Zhang Yong so easily because the high-risk area was extensive and divided into several sections, so it was a surprise to encounter him so soon.

Yang Yi subconsciously stopped in his tracks, but then quickly started walking again.

Now was not the ti to hurry, and there was no need to rush anymore.
