603: Chapter 611: How Can One Endure the Agony 603: Chapter 611: How Can One Endure the Agony Why did Zhang Yong aim for the armpit, then the head, and only finish the fight when he broke the opponent’s arm?
The reason is simple: the African-Arican was wearing a bulletproof vest.
The vest had plates inserted, so punching it would have been bad for Zhang Yong himself.
That’s why Zhang Yong could only aim for the armpit and the neck before finally breaking the opponent’s arm.
And now, they were fighting, and it was a chaotic brawl.
Ultimately, Ferdinand still didn’t dare to shoot, so he ordered them to hit while Jethro didn’t even need to give an order before Yang Yi and the others jumped into action.
Anton was the first to charge out, with a burning need for revenge.
If you were to ask what Anton’s biggest flaw was, it would be his pride.
Pride deep in his bones, although he usually didn’t show it, he looked down on Brian, looked down on Zhang Yong; he really looked down on everyone.
So now, Anton was frantic, yet he had no chance to redeem himself, so he could only take his frustration out on others.
When Anton engaged in combat again, he no longer felt powerless, even if his opponents were wearing bulletproof vests; after all, there were many vulnerable spots on the human body.
With a smack, Anton’s right hand struck his opponent’s neck, and as he watched the opponent collapse weakly to the ground, Anton turned his gaze to Zhang Yong.
Zhang Yong, who had exhausted much effort against the African-Arican earlier, now seed effortlessly at ease, taking down an opponent with just a few punches and kicks.
By the ti Anton looked at him, Zhang Yong had already put two people down.
Efficiency, efficiency is very important.
Zhang Yong and Anton were truly impressive; their styles were different, but both their efficiencies were astonishing.
Brian and Paul were equally effective.
If you pit special agents against special forces, the agents might win one-on-one, but with ten against ten, it’s less certain, and with numbers over a hundred, the special forces definitely win.
But in this hand-to-hand combat, Ferdinand’s n should forget their backgrounds, for they really didn’t stand a chance against those with a style that was fast, fierce, and sure.
Even Yang Yi could fully play the role of a master in front of Ferdinand’s n.
Although Yang Yi was physically outmatched compared to his opponent, fighting or martial arts isn’t just about size.
If it were, how could the African-Arican have ended up with a broken arm?
But Yang Yi’s trouble lay in the bulletproof vests his opponents wore, particularly those with inserted bulletproof plates and topped with a helt, making strikes to the torso entirely aningless.
Yang Yi, not as freely skilled as Zhang Yong, relied heavily on Mian Zhang Fist to end fights quickly.
The Mian Zhang Fist technique revolves largely around joint techniques—essentially, thods specialized in breaking opponents’ arms and legs quickly to incapacitate them.
Yang Yi faced his opponent, dodged a punch, and delivered a kick to the shin.
Then with one hand lifting and the other bracing, with a simple press, he snapped an arm as easily as breaking a sugar cane.
And that’s why Yang Yi couldn’t spar with Kate.
Using full force ant breaking arms and legs; without using full force, he would just get pumled by her.
After breaking one arm, Yang Yi kicked forcefully and hit another opponent’s shin.
He then grabbed the off-balance opponent’s arm, twisted it behind, and with both arms exerting force, another snap was heard, and another arm was broken.
Ferdinand was nearly driven mad with rage as he rapidly retreated; his n were falling one after another, while on Jethro’s bodyguard side, not a single one had gone down.
It was bad enough that his own side was completely at a disadvantage, but what was fatal was that several n had broken arms.
Ferdinand had thought that nurical superiority was on his side, which is why he had ordered to fight instead of shoot.
But now it seed that nurical superiority was utterly useless, and instead, they were being suppressed by Jethro’s n, naturally changing his thoughts.
In a furious rage, Ferdinand suddenly bellowed, “Shoot, shoot!
Kill them all!”
Ferdinand’s direct n had all joined in the brawl, but Deyo’s direct n were following his commands.
Upon hearing Ferdinand’s order, many imdiately raised their guns.
However, this was ultimately an internal conflict.
Ferdinand was Deyo’s subordinate, and so was Jethro.
While they had been fighting with fists up to now, shooting would change the nature of the conflict entirely.
So Deyo’s n just raised their guns but didn’t fire imdiately.
That’s the downside of non-direct forces.
If those who had raised their guns were Ferdinand’s direct n, they would have shot the mont he issued the command.
Jethro roared, “Don’t shoot!
Put your guns down!”
No one fired, but of those who raised their guns, only a few put them down—Ferdinand was their commander, not Jethro.
It was then, in a furious rage, that Ferdinand cursed as he drew his pistol and aid it at Jethro, bellowing, “Everybody stop!”
The brawl halted, and Yang Yi backed away slowly, then shouted sternly, “Put down the gun!
Otherwise, my people will shoot!”
Francois, the leader of the Fearless rcenary Corps, looked helpless.
With Deyo’s n fighting amongst themselves, what could he do?
Following Ferdinand’s orders to take out Jethro was utterly impossible.
“Put down your guns, gentlen, and calm down.”
Soone had to diate the situation, and Francois was the right man for the job—he was the only one present who was qualified to act as the peacemaker.
Deyo’s n looked at each other and slowly lowered their guns, then Francois frowned at Ferdinand, saying, “Pal, pulling a gun is going too far.”
Ferdinand didn’t lower his gun, and he looked at Jethro with a teeth-gritting rage and said, “You just wait…”
A snap of a gunshot startled everyone, causing Deyo’s n to raise their guns again, and seizing the mont, Yang Yi and his people all raised their guns as well.
Ferdinand held up his hand, but the gun in it was gone; he wore a look of astonishnt, then turned to look sideways.
No one was dead, and no one was injured; it was just that the gun in Ferdinand’s hand had been shot away.
Xiao Ran and Kate had never left the car; upon seeing the situation spiral out of control, Xiao Ran finally fired the first shot.
But she only knocked the gun out of Ferdinand’s hand, without harming him at all.
Even though they were only forty to fifty ters apart, hitting the slide of a handgun was extrely difficult.
Yang Yi aid his pistol at Ferdinand’s head and shouted loudly, “Tell your n to put down their guns!”
Aside from the Fearless rcenary Corps personnel, everyone else capable of raising a gun did so.
Ferdinand was still in a daze.
It was bad enough that he had not won the fight, but now even in the standoff, he was the one with guns pointed at him.
The ignominy was unbearable.
