Flashes from grenade explosions began to light up inside the building, and smoke billowed out of the windowless openings.
It was not clear whether the enemies from above had co down or if those below were shooting upwards, but in any case, firefight had broken out within the building.

Yang Yi didn’t wait for Zhang Yong and Chris; he drove off, while Zhang Yong and Chris waited for Kate’s car to arrive.
The two jumped into the car, grabbing the car door as they got in.
The car quickly left the danger zone, and after Yang Yi turned a corner, he called out to Jethro in the back, “Where to now?”
Jethro said urgently, “Just get us out of here first, I’ve called for backup; we’ll have soone to pick us up!”
Jethro’s body shook violently and after taking two quick breaths, he shouted again, “Thanks!
