Anton hung up the phone and handed it back to Yang Yi. Yang Yi took the phone and whispered, “Bonnie knows about this safe house. I’m wondering if she’ll inform the cleaner, and then soone might co around.”

Previously, you couldn’t do without the cleaner, now you have a choice. You can choose the Grey-cloaked People or the cleaner. What does this an? This is progress. Yang Yi pondered for a mont and said, “Yes, now I at least have the ability to pick a side.”
Anton whispered, “Exactly, so don’t dwell on what the cleaner has done to harm you. You should consider what benefits the cleaner can bring you, and what benefits the Grey-cloaked People can bring you. Buddy, you’re collaborating with the cleaner to take revenge on the Grey-cloaked People. If you now feel that the hatred is irrelevant, then of course you can imdiately turn against the cleaner and team up with the Grey-cloaked People to strike back hard. But if you’re not at that point yet, then…”
Shrugging, Anton smiled and said, “Acting very angry is for the cleaner to see. It’s to make the cleaner give you a satisfactory explanation. But make it clear, if you turn against the cleaner because of them trying to kill Petra, and not because of any other factors, then that would be your mistake.”
Having reached this point, Yang Yi couldn’t possibly make any decisions on impulse. He sighed and said, “I understand what you’re saying, but you should now join in cursing those cleaner bastards.”
Anton shook his head and said, “No, I can’t. I’m afraid if I curse the cleaner along with you, it will lead you to make so irrational decisions, so I’d better remind you instead.”
Yang Yi whispered, “If Petra dies, I’ll be extrely, extrely angry.”
“I understand, so let’s pray Petra doesn’t die. I have a question: given your current status and role, the cleaner has no reason to do this.”

Yang Yi contemplated for a long ti and said, “If it’s internal trouble within the cleaner, then that’s quite interesting.”
Anton said gravely, “Let’s see how the cleaner explains this to you. For now, don’t rush to a judgnt. We lack sufficient information.”
Yang Yi nodded, continuing to ponder, and after a while, Albert opened the bedroom door again.
Yang Yi and Anton both stood up. Albert’s face did not look good. Yang Yi’s heart sank and he whispered, “How is she?”
“Not very well, the situation is complex. I need to explain it to you. She has seven pieces of shrapnel in her body, one large bullet, six separated fragnts. We’ve extracted the bullet and five fragnts, but one fragnt is lodged in the heart.”
Yang Yi paused and then whispered, “Will she… die?”
Albert shook his head and said, “If that fragnt goes a little deeper, it will pierce the heart, then she’d already be dead. But now the shrapnel is embedded in the heart and very close to the valve. Once removed, the damaged heart wall might fail to withstand the pressure of blood in the atrium and rupture, that could also kill her.”
Yang Yi said without hesitation, “If, I an if, purely hypothetically, there was a place that could save her without any risk…”
“That’s impossible!”
“I’m just saying hypothetically, if such a place existed that could guarantee her survival, but I need to take her by plane, which requires at least a dozen hours. Can I do that?”
Of course, Yang Yi still wanted the risk-free option, so he naturally thought of the Grey-cloaked People’s dical pod. But Albert shook his head and said, “It’s impossible, she can’t endure long-distance flying anymore. Her condition is very dire. “What’s the probability?”
Albert whispered, “Andy and I both think it’s a thirty percent chance. We just want you to know that extracting the shrapnel might likely kill her.”
Yang Yi exhaled and then said with a face full of helplessness, “There’s really no choice. A thirty percent chance, is it? Remove the shrapnel!”
