Yang Yi was on a large cruise ship.
The old man Yang Yi was disguised as wasn’t using a fake identity; he only realized when he boarded that he had replaced a real elderly man who was supposed to board the ship.
The reason Kate needed such a long ti to disguise Yang Yi was to ensure he looked exactly like the real elderly man.
He was actually a very ordinary elderly man who had been widowed for a year and a half. Living alone, having a lot of savings, and feeling bored, he booked a spot on a luxury cruise.
He booked the spot two months in advance. It wasn’t the most expensive cabin, but it was still an excellent one on the ship.
The Black Devil needed to board the ship first to check for that kind of white box, but there wasn’t any because such a white box, not being a standard device, would never be placed on a cruise ship with such low tiliness.
Actually, once Yang Yi got out of the CIA’s sight, there were many ways to leave New York. Once he left New York, leaving the United States for Europe would have been much easier and more convenient, yet Yang Yi chose what could arguably be the slowest way.
No one saw him off; Yang Yi boarded the ship alone. Even though he knew Kate was nearby watching him, he didn’t make any farewell gestures.
Fighting an invisible enemy is truly troubleso.
With a VIP ticket in hand, Yang Yi was escorted into his cabin by a steward on the ship, and his room was large and comfortable. The ship’s displacent of over 40,000 tons ant it barely rocked once it set sail.
All in all, if not rushing to Europe, it was quite a comfortable journey.
However, once the cruise started, Yang Yi truly felt the tornt.
It was too slow, excruciatingly slow. The flight ti of just a dozen hours felt slow to Yang Yi, and now, actually being on the ship, taking half a month to reach Europe, made ti seem almost frozen to him.
The most torturous part was Yang Yi’s disguise as an elderly man, specifically a seventy-eight-year-old man, so even on the cruise, he couldn’t really enjoy himself.
There were eight restaurants on the ship, and Yang Yi visited each in turn. However, to genuinely look like an elderly man, he couldn’t eat too much, couldn’t eat too unhealthily, couldn’t have anything too cold. Basically, having to disguise even while eating was truly painful.
There was a casino on the ship, live dance shows, and all kinds of fun things, but all Yang Yi did was take a stroll on the deck daily, then return to his cabin to sleep.
It was torturous, but at least, Yang Yi had left the United States.
The journey across the Atlantic took a full week. During this week, Yang Yi had no contact with the outside world, didn’t make a single phone call, until he saw the Port of Lisbon in Portugal drawing closer.
Finally, they landed, finally landed.
The cruise would sail into the diterranean, with Italy being one of its main destinations, but Yang Yi couldn’t wait until then.
For the first ti, Yang Yi turned on his phone and proactively sent a ssage to Kate.
"Disembarking at the port."
Seeing Kate’s reply, Yang Yi couldn’t help but smile.
Once out of the CIA’s view, everything else was easy, so easy it was as if Yang Yi had just taken a cruise trip.
No shocks or risks, nothing happened.
It had to be without shocks or risks, because if there was any slip-up, if anyone suspected Yang Yi was on this ship, he wouldn’t have been able to leave.
This isn’t a scene where two people shoot it out and then one leaves; it’s a situation where either nothing happens, or you’re dood.
So the most important part is before the event, and the most critical part is, of course, before boarding the ship.
Now he could disembark, and there was nothing left; no matter how strong the CIA, no matter how strong the FBI, they wouldn’t find Yang Yi now.
The Port of Lisbon was a stopover, not the ho port, so the cruise would only make a brief stop at the Port of Lisbon, allowing those who had stayed on board for a long ti to step off for so ground access. But the first person Yang Yi saw after disembarking was Annastasia.
Why was Annastasia there to pick him up? Because she was older, standing together with Yang Yi wouldn’t look too strange.
And Yang Yi even embraced Annastasia briefly.
"Finally off the ship..."
He said softly, continuing to walk slowly with the pace of an elderly man, saying, "So what’s the situation now?"
"The whole world is looking for you. You’ve been put on a bounty, the Cicero Family also placed a bounty on you. If one can provide your exact location, they can get a reward of thirty million US dollars."
Yang Yi paused and said, "Thirty million? Only thirty million? Am I only worth thirty million?"
Annastasia smiled and said, "Yes, we are all quite resentful because the price put on you is too low."
Yang Yi shook his head and continued, "So what about the others?"
"Everyone who could co has co, except for the Blade Queen. She’s in a very safe place, but because of concerns that she might have so indiscernible tracking device on her, she has to stay alone for a few more days. That thing..."
Annastasia shrugged, instinctively glanced around, and then said in a low voice, "That thing is also arriving today; Brian took so people to pick up the goods."
Yang Yi said quietly, "Very dangerous."
"But it has to be retrieved; you can’t show up at this ti. As of now, it looks like there won’t be any issues. Brian has got the thing, and it will be sent to the eting as fast as possible."
"I thought Kate was here."
"No, it’s just ."
Annastasia pointed to herself and said in a low voice with a helpless expression, "I gathered almost everyone in the Organization of Water. They’re in the United Kingdom now, why? Because I’ve always been within the Grey-cloaked People’s sight, my concern was if we didn’t create the illusion that you’d appear in the United Kingdom, they would find you."
It sounded easy, but creating this illusion must have been hard.
"Was it hard?"
Annastasia breathed out and smiled, saying, "It was hard, but now it seems that there shouldn’t be any major issues. I’ve appeared in public the least, and a brief disappearance for two days shouldn’t cause significant problems."
"So Kate was exposed?"
"Uncertain."
Annastasia said indifferently, "Any uncertain factors must be eliminated. I had to et you in person to tell you these things, because right now, I don’t trust any ans of communication. After telling you so necessary things, I have to hurry back. If we aren’t ambushed by the Grey-cloaked People, then it ans you’re still temporarily safe, and the rest of the journey you must continue alone."
There’s no knowing if any mistakes have been made, only trying not to make mistakes. Then, continuing in speculation and doubt, this is Yang Yi’s situation. He is truly walking on thin ice now. If he missteps, the result is not just wetting his feet but falling into the abyss.
