The cockpit glass remained intact. Yang Yi was piloting for the first ti, but he didn’t encounter any problems during the flight and smoothly landed the plane back on the runway.

Actually, within the United States’ lineup of transport aircraft, the C-130 was so successful that it beca a basic model or a benchmark. Many later-developed transport planes evolved their operating modes from the C-130. Anyone who can fly a C-130 can fly a C-17 with just a little training.

However, there are hardly any people like Yang Yi who can fly just by having read the flight manual.

The military airport tower controller was very curious as to why the plane had returned.

When the plane ca to a stop, Yang Yi imdiately turned to Jason, who was responsible for returning to the United States with him, and said, "You have to explain clearly what happened."

Jason, still relieved to have survived a hijacking without having to parachute, responded to Yang Yi’s words curiously: "We can take off again, change to another plane. If you can fly on your own, we might as well fly back ourselves. It’s not quite by the book, but we can do it."

"Can you ensure that the new flight plan is safe?"

Jason was stunned, and Yang Yi exhaled, then said in a deep voice, "I’ll leave with the stuff first, contact once you’ve ensured safety."

"Yeah, next ti it won’t be contacting you again, probably."

Yang Yi picked up his bag and whispered, "It doesn’t matter who it is, but I’d rather stay in Baghdad. Well, I think I have to leave now."

Leaving the military base was sowhat troubleso. However, with the special status of himself and Jason, and Aaron’s coordination, despite the military base not understanding why their pilot died in mid-air, Yang Yi still managed to take Reggie and get away.

They got a car and drove outside the barracks. Finally, Yang Yi said to Reggie, "Don’t you want to ask anything?"

Reggie shrugged and said, "I’m indeed very curious because I feel that regardless of the type of mission, the current situation is abnormal. Soone is out to kill us, sparing no effort and by any ans necessary. But even though I’m curious, I still don’t want to know exactly what happened."

Yang Yi smiled and said, "Very good, very good."

The two continued driving. Yang Yi took out his phone and called Brian. Once Brian picked up, he said quietly, "We’re back. Sothing happened in the air, and we had to turn back. Have you handled things on your end?"

"Handled, cleaning up. Co back."

Yang Yi hung up the phone, and Reggie curiously asked, "Where are we going?"

"Uh, Salib’s house, where we’ve been staying for the past two days."

Reggie widened his eyes and said, "But isn’t Salib trying to kill us? Why are we going back?"

"Precisely because he wants to kill us, and he actually took action. That’s why we’re going back. When soone intends to kill us, we have no burden in killing them, right?"

Reggie took a deep breath and said, "Understood, aning Salib and his son are already dead."

"Yes, they’re dead."

Reggie sighed, shrugged, and said, "What a pity, I actually quite liked that young man, he was still young."

"Yeah, he was still young, which is why he could hold a machine gun and shoot at us. Reggie, don’t you get it? When he picked up the gun to try and kill us, he was dood."

Returning from where they ca, Yang Yi and the others found that Brian had tidied up everything neatly by the ti they arrived back at Salib’s house.

"Everything smooth?"

"Smooth. They didn’t expect to return. There were four in total, I handled them all without a gun. The bodies are in the cellar, so we have about two days until they start to rot and stink, allowing us to stay here."

"We won’t stay that long. It’s already unsafe here. We’d better leave tomorrow, get a good night’s sleep, and leave at dawn."

Having said that, Yang Yi yawned and then said to Reggie, "Now go back to your room and sleep; we need rest."

Regardless of whether they truly needed rest, Reggie obediently returned to his room. Yang Yi stayed downstairs, taking out his phone to call Grevatov.

"Have you arrived in Baghdad yet?"

"We have. Where are you?"

Yang Yi told him his location, then said quietly, "If you want to et us, co here now. After dawn, we may have to change locations."

"We’ll be there soon, wait for us."

After hanging up the phone, Yang Yi said flatly to Brian, "The Black Devil’s people will co. Let’s et them here and see what they plan."

About an hour later, the Black Devil’s people arrived.

Except for Tartar, all the Black Devil mbers were present. Grevatov, Bieleski, Rotzstoski, Vasily, and one person Yang Yi hadn’t seen before but knew by na: Pavlovich, as well as another nad Hamr.

Now, the Black Devil’s mbers were all gathered for the first ti.

"Did you kill them?"

Grevatov sniffed as he entered the door, turning to Brian with a cryptic question, to which Brian replied deeply, "Yes."

Grevatov exhaled and then said quietly to Yang Yi, "Things aren’t quite as I expected."

"What’s different?"

"There are far more people willing to co to rescue Satan than I thought, a lot more."

Yang Yi was taken aback, then asked, "How many?"

"Hard to estimate, the total is at least over two hundred. The important thing is these are all highly elite units. From the information I’ve received, well, they’re all friends of Gong Yang, very strong. Now, everyone has gathered here, and I need to coordinate all of them to execute the rescue mission. But the issue is, we don’t know Gong Yang’s exact location."

Yang Yi thought for a mont, then asked, "What do you intend to do?"

Grevatov replied solemnly, "We need to first get near Mosul. Otherwise, even if we find out where they are, we can’t imdiately carry out the rescue. Then the next crucial step is to find out the exact location where Satan is besieged."

Grevatov continued, "I want to conduct aerial reconnaissance. Given our current strength, even with a rough idea of the location, we are prepared to conduct a rescue operation."

Yang Yi thought again and said, "If it’s aerial reconnaissance you’re talking about, finding a plane is not easy, but... well, I went to Assad Air Force Base today and noticed several AC-130s parked at the airport. If you want reconnaissance, I suggest using an AC-130 directly. What do you think?"

Grevatov raised an eyebrow and said, "An aerial gunship? Alright!"
