Anton knew so things, but he would never tell Azar, for instance, that the group that caught Baghdadi and got surrounded was the Satan rcenary Group.
Azar also knew a few things, but he accidentally let sothing slip out, like the fact that the ones launching the attack now were the Iron Madonna, or more accurately, the Iron Madonna rcenary Corps.
The Iron Madonna rcenary Corps, the world’s top mid-sized rcenary group, with fewer than two hundred people, but each one is part of an elite super squad, undisputedly the number one.
A rcenary group with a long history and a strong political flavor, Anton found it hard not to know about it.
Unlike Deyang International, Armor Group, Three Leaf Jungle, EO Company, and the more renowned but actually not as large Blackwater Company, these are all PMC companies, or private military companies, which are formal with national backgrounds, although they also engage in military industries, they are not unrestrained or lawless rcenaries.
The real rcenaries are those who are unrestrained and have no bottom line, they are not bound by any international convention, nor are they protected by any convention.
Iron Madonna is a purely rcenary group, and this rcenary group can be dubbed the largest and strongest because it has enough numbers after eting extrely high-quality requirents, rather than being a cannon-fodder rcenary group, after all, numbers are aningless if they are cannon-fodder.
With large numbers and strong capabilities, Iron Madonna naturally stands atop the rcenary world.
It’s known that modern special operations tend to involve very few people, yet the high-quality Iron Madonna has a team of nearly two hundred because it has the best teams for urban warfare, jungle combat, desert warfare, mountain combat, and high-cold zone operations, encompassing almost all types of special operations units.
Because Iron Madonna is a rcenary group, it can recruit retired special forces from various countries, making it possible to assemble such an all-weather, all-terrain, and all-category special forces group, as such a comprehensive unit isn’t really needed outside big countries like Huaxia, Arica, and Russia.
But Iron Madonna managed to achieve this with around two hundred people, thanks to the advantage of recruiting the best retired soldiers from all over the world.
Iron Madonna working for ISS?
Iron Madonna working for ISS doesn’t seem unbelievable because Iron Madonna is a rcenary group, and rcenaries are just paid soldiers, aren’t they?
But Anton instinctively sensed sothing unusual.
rcenaries risk their lives for money, but when a group of rcenaries can go to their deaths without hesitation, that’s a different story altogether, absolutely different.
Azar ntioned a na, and Anton uncovered a trendous secret.
Iron Madonna shouldn’t be so willing to send twelve people to their deaths, as this loss might not be much for ISS, but for Iron Madonna, it’s significant. The key point is these people must be elites of the elite, knowing their acts might be suicidal, yet such determined suicidal actions are possible for ISS soldiers, but not for Iron Madonna rcenaries.
Unless the person to be rescued is extrely important to the Iron Madonna mbers, crucial as one of their own.
No amount of money can make soone who risks their life for cash commit suicide, unless there’s sothing more important than money.
Like comrades, for instance. While rcenary groups are mostly loose interest organizations, those existing for decades have cohesion and combat effectiveness that are not inferior to any country’s special forces, often much stronger than many national special forces.
Anton thought it impossible, but rational analysis told him that Iron Madonna indeed had a very close relationship with Baghdadi, far beyond a re profit connection.
Anton had a bold speculation: Baghdadi’s real identity. Though hard to believe, Anton was willing to trust his rational judgnt.
Anton was so excited that his hands were trembling slightly.
Azar could never have imagined that his careless slip would lead Anton to deduce such critical matters.
Azar was still wondering who captured Baghdadi, and now it seed like everyone was guessing too.
"One is Iron Madonna, the other is Satan, a war between the strongest rcenary group and the strongest small-sized rcenary group, who will win this rcenary war?"
Anton only thought about it in his mind, of course, he wouldn’t speak it out loud.
Looking at Azar, Anton whispered, "Who’s inside? I couldn’t figure it out at first, but if what you’re saying is true, then I might have a few reasonable guesses."
Azar lowered his voice until it was almost inaudible and said, "It’s really Iron Madonna, of course, I’m certain, so who do you think is inside?"
Anton responded calmly, "There are several possibilities. Which troops, do you think, in the world could annihilate Iron Madonna’s elite within thirty-three seconds?"
"I don’t know, you’re from the CIA, maybe you have a better idea."
"I’ll tell you, the United States has three units capable of this, but they won’t co. Huaxia has, it’s not Huaxia, then there’s only Russia and the United Kingdom left, it can’t be the British, so only Russia is left. Russia has Spetsnaz, Alpha, and Wimber. Based on my experience, the combat part of these people lacks the Russian touch, but Russia has a unit capable of very effectively mimicking other countries’ combat styles, that is Wimber’s Black Devil."
"Wimber? Wimber is also called Black Devil, but are they really that strong?"
Anton bullshitted with utmost seriousness, but he said it with great confidence.
"Of course. The true Black Devils within Wimber, those who don’t wear black clothes, they can pull it off, I’m very sure."
Azar let out a breath and then whispered, "Alright, I don’t know about the existence of this unit, so you’re saying it was Russia who took action?"
"Of course, does this still need to be asked? Who else but Russia would try to capture Baghdadi instead of just killing him? Of course, it’s Russia; they want to capture Baghdadi alive and make him reveal everyone behind him, only Russia would try to capture him alive, so the answer is clear now."
Azar nodded and then whispered, "Should we remind them and tell them that the people inside are Russia’s Wimber Black Devils, what do you think?"
Anton chuckled, then whispered, "Sure, um, I think you should be the one to say it, it might make them take it more seriously."
Azar hesitated for a mont, then nodded and said, "Alright, I’ll go!"
