Capítulo 2432: Fight Back
“Guards, arrest this woman causing trouble!” Liqiu commanded sharply, and several eunuchs who had been on standby swiftly restrained the forr Princess Consort.
“How dare you lay hands on ! You’re rebelling! Let go of ! Let go!”
The forr Princess Consort scread and struggled desperately. The eunuchs, well aware of who she was, showed no hesitation in their actions.
Even the servants found her behavior both ridiculous and pitiful, and the ladies in attendance watched with a mix of disdain and curiosity.
Ding Xiang, observing the scene with cold amusent, addressed the forr Princess Consort with contempt. “You’re nothing more than a stage prisoner from the Fourth Prince’s era. What makes you think you have any standing here? The Emperor and Empress have shown you kindness, yet you continue to push your luck. Ms. Fu, you’re nothing but a shaless shrew.”
The forr Princess Consort was incensed, her face flushed with rage. “Who are you to speak to like that? This empire—”
“This great empire was never truly ruled until soone seized it and defended it,” Ding Xiang interrupted coldly. “Those who fail to defend it either die for their cause or surrender. Don’t you fear the consequences of trying to gain such imnse power with nothing but words?”
Ding Xiang sneered, her voice dripping with disdain. “Ms. Fu, you should be grateful. Even if this empire were in your hands, do you really think you could protect it? If you were so capable, you wouldn’t have spent years without making any significant impact. Your audacity to cause a scene before the Emperor and Empress is laughable. You may have mastered the art of being a street shrew, but that’s all you’ve got!”
“You! You!”
The forr Princess Consort, nearly overco with fury, glared at Qiao Xuan with a face flushed and trembling.
“Ms. Qiao!” she spat out, her voice quivering. “Are you just going to let this wretched woman insult ?”
Qiao Xuan’s face turned icy as she t the forr Princess Consort’s gaze. “Ms. Fu, watch your language. What do you an by ‘wretched woman’? You have no right to speak so arrogantly when you’re the one who’s trying to exploit others and make grandiose claims.
You’re in no position to make a scene here. Sister Ding Xiang is right—you’re utterly unqualified to challenge us. When the Qin Empire took over, I asked if I should let you continue your charade. What right do you have to behave so disruptively?”
The forr Princess Consort’s chest heaved with anger as she glared at Qiao Xuan, her eyes sharp with hatred.
She was seething with rage.
“Ms. Qiao, you are despicable and shaless! The Crown Prince is watching you from above, and he will not forget this! One day, you will be punished! When we et in the afterlife, I will make sure you face the Crown Prince’s wrath!”
“Even if I die, I will not be humiliated by you!”
In her fury, the forr Princess Consort stumbled into a vermilion pillar.
The crowd gasped in shock. So rushed forward to help, but she had already collided with Qiao Xuan, blood trickling from a gash on her forehead. Her eyes locked onto Qiao Xuan one last ti before she closed them and collapsed.
The scene was filled with screams.
“Ah! Blood, so much blood!”
“Oh my god, will she die? Will she die?”
“Ah, that’s terrible!”
“….”
