Qiao Xuan instructed Mianmian, “Retrieve the dicine.” With her back turned to Qiao Wei, she whispered sothing to Mianmian, who nodded and quickly departed.

Gritting her teeth, Qiu He retorted, “Madam has gone too far! I still need to return to serve our Miss.”
Ah-Ye snorted and maintained his silent vigil, eyeing her intently.
However, his silence did not signify agreent with her words.
Qiu He seethed internally, cursing the peculiar individuals surrounding Qiao Xuan. Especially Ah-Ye, who appeared foolish and guileless, as though he were easy to deceive, when in fact, he was anything but.
Ah-Ye couldn’t be bothered to engage with them. Even when they tried to strike up conversations with him, he remained utterly silent, no matter what they said.
This ti, it was no different. Her vehent protests seed to fall on deaf ears, as if they had automatically muted themselves.
Nonetheless, Qiu He was well aware that if she dared to make a move, he would unquestionably kick her again.
Suppressing her fury, Qiu He deliberately adopted a pitiable countenance. She lifted her head to gaze at Ah-Ye. “My leg is wounded. Could you please provide with so external injury dicine for treatnt?”
Ah-Ye glanced at her but continued to maintain his silence.
Qiu He put on a forced smile. “I have no choice but to heed Mada Shao’s directive. I’ll apply the dicine and accept my punishnt…”
As she struggled to rise, Ah-Ye raised his foot. “Attempt to move!”
“…” Qiu He couldn’t take it any longer. Her knees turned weak, causing her to tumble heavily onto the rugged ground once more. Her vision dimd, and tears nearly welled up again.
“Is Mada truly so heartless? My legs will be ruined if I continue kneeling like this throughout the night!”
Ah-Ye remained unmoved, silently thinking to himself, You deserve to have your legs ruined.
A servant like you remained unscathed while your mistress got hurt. How would you complain once I’ve maid your leg?
It was only fair!
Ah-Ye kept his gaze fixed on Qiu He until the entire area was tidied up before returning to his rest.
Prior to departing, he didn’t neglect to issue a threat. “Don’t move, or else, hmph!”
Qiu He seethed with resentnt.
Following Ah-Ye’s departure, although she didn’t dare to leave, she promptly seated herself on the ground.
