Ah-Ye happily waved at Mianmian and signaled her to join them with a bright smile.
Mianmian blushed and shot him a glare.
Qiao Xuan pondered that Thunder God’s lack of resistance to her approach might be attributed to her superpower.
It wasn’t inconceivable for Thunder God to feel a connection to individuals with wood-elent superpowers. She had an inkling that animals were often more sensitive than humans, which was the most plausible explanation.
Qiao Xuan couldn’t help but wonder why Thunder God, who typically ignored everyone, hadn’t resisted her. As for Shao Yunduan and Mianmian, it was likely due to Thunder God’s
relationship with Ah-Ye. Thunder God was a highly intelligent horse, and since there were no outsiders present, it felt relaxed and open to negotiation.
That evening, everyone camped for the night. They roasted at and enjoyed wine, creating a lively atmosphere.

Additionally, in the company of his wife, amid the enchanting starlit night, it was far more appealing to be with her.
The following morning, the group enjoyed a hearty breakfast and headed back to the capital. They took their ti and didn’t split up, as Qiao Xuan needed to rest. She paused for breaks three tis on the return journey, and they didn’t reach the capital until late afternoon.
That evening, Princess Shuangfu and Prince Nuo Nuo extended an invitation to Qiao Xuan and Shao Yunduan for dinner.
