Weston teased him, "Why don't you guess?"
Ryan chuckled and cursed, "I will not guess! And you guys didn't even bother to grab so food after class—such animals."
"We ca back first because the cafeteria is way too crowded. After every class, it's like a stampede of wild dogs," Weston replied.
The three of them were chatting and smoking when suddenly a wolf-whistle ca from outside, followed by the appearance of a bright and beautiful figure at the dormitory door.
Tina, shy and a little embarrassed to enter the boys' dormitory, peeked in and said, "So, this is where you live? It took ages to find it—I had to ask several people."
It had been three years, yet Tina didn't even know Ryan's dormitory number. This was her first ti visiting, which showed just how indifferent she had been before.
The quirky and mischievous Lyla followed closely behind her. Seeing Ryan lying on the bed in just his boxers, she exclaid, "Why aren't you wearing any clothes?"
Ryan quickly pulled a blanket over his lower body and asked in surprise, "What brings you here?"
Tina walked over gracefully, placing a lunchbox on the table. "I heard you were sick, so I ca to check on you and brought you so food," she said softly.
Heaven have rcy—this was the first ti in three years that she had ever bought sothing for Ryan. Before this, she hadn't even given him so much as a bottle of water.
Ryan suddenly understood why his two roommates hadn't brought him any food. Tina must have told them in advance.
For the first ti in three years, he felt noticed. Even though it was just a cheap 5 dollar lunchbox al from the fourth cafeteria, Ryan was montarily overwheld.
"Thank you! Please, have a seat!" he quickly invited.
Lyla curiously looked around the ssy dormitory. Judging by Ryan's impoverished state, she found it hard to believe what Tina had told her the day before.
The room was cluttered, and there wasn't a proper place to sit. Tina frowned slightly, then settled into a nearby chair. In a soft but pointed tone, she asked, "Did Yana not co to take care of you?"
Yana... That na, as familiar as thunder in their ears, left Weston and Jason montarily stunned. What ca to their minds was the ethereal image of a nearly divine beauty.
As Tina asked the question, her expression turned serious, her tone almost interrogative. She still maintained her usual air of superiority.
Ryan felt guilty and lowered his head, unsure how to respond.
Before he could say anything, there was a loud commotion outside the hallway again. In the boys' dormitory, this kind of noise only happened when girls showed up.
Weston and Jason stared in disbelief. When did their "simp" brother, Ryan, have anything to do with such a legendary campus beauty?
The noise outside was even louder than before. It was rare for girls to openly visit the boys' dormitory, especially during the day, and even rarer for soone to cause such a sensation.
Particularly for a stunning beauty—most wealthy students and beautiful girls had already moved off-campus. So, this kind of scene was a rare spectacle.
Lyla asked, "Ryan, they said this morning you were working at the cafeteria. Why didn't you reply to my ssage?"
To be fair, Lyla was petite and cute, with a sweet smile that made her one of the class beauties.
She had long been used to Ryan's fawning behavior. To put it bluntly, she looked down on him but was happy to take advantage of this so-called "best friend."
Tina, who was accustod to being pampered, was particularly upset when she was suddenly ignored. From her perspective, as long as she sent a subtle ssage, this "simp" would always respond with over-the-top enthusiasm.
She once casually ntioned to her roommates that she wanted to eat waterlon, and Ryan climbed over the wall in the middle of the night to buy her a frozen one. Ironically, Tina didn't even take a single bite.
But Tina relished the feeling of being admired, while her roommates gladly benefited from his efforts. They had been taking advantage of him for three years.
So, when they didn't get breakfast in the morning, her entire dorm was sowhat displeased. Tina felt a little embarrassed but not angry—she had expected it. The one truly annoyed was Lyla, who had sent the ssage herself.
"I finished work, felt terrible, and ca back to sleep. I didn't see it," Ryan explained, giving her an out. But Lyla huffed and said, "If a man really loves you, he'll get up to care for you even if he's on his deathbed."
These words were classic toxic advice picked up from the internet. It showed how deeply she had been influenced by such ideas, but they were only ever directed at Chen Jiahao.
At this mont, an incredibly beautiful, even stunning figure appeared at the door.
Her hair was simply tied back, and her light makeup was almost imperceptible. Yet it couldn't hide the impact of her breathtaking beauty.
Her plain jeans outlined a pair of perfect, long legs.
The cartoon-patterned T-shirt she wore was clearly not a designer brand, yet it seed tailored just for her. It highlighted her slender, serpent-like waist and the alluring curves of her chest.
Though her outfit was plain and simple, it exuded a captivating charm. It could be said that such a beauty would still be brimming with allure even if she were draped in nothing more than a burlap sack.
When Tina turned her head, her eyes imdiately reddened. Her attention locked onto the bag Yana was carrying.
Many people might not recognize it, but Tina knew at a glance—it was the only limited-edition LV bag in Brisbane City, the one that she had seen the previous night.
Dressed in this inexpensive ensemble but carrying such a bag, it was clear she had co to make a statent.
Weston and Jason were stunned, their jaws nearly hitting the floor. They couldn't believe Yana had actually shown up here.
"Hello, I'm Yana!"
As soon as Yana entered the room, she greeted them warmly and confidently. She smiled and said, "Brother Weston, Brother Jason, Ryan often ntions you two. He says you're just like real brothers to him, and I'm so grateful for how you've taken care of him."
The two of them quickly nodded, too nervous to know what else to do.
