"Three floors. The first floor has three rentable shops. The second and third floors are 100 square ters each, four rooms total. Simple white walls, terrazzo floors."
The uncle frowned. "He’s asking for 120000 dollars—not a bad price. But even with the demolition payout, our family can only scrape together 40,000."
"The boss said he needs at least 80,000 upfront, with the rest payable later. Your aunt and I have been racking our brains over where to borrow the difference."
"I know that place. The price really isn’t bad."
Tina thought for a mont before saying gently, "Uncle, I’ll give you 80,000."
The whole family fell silent. The old man couldn’t help asking, "Where did you get that kind of money?"
"I saved so myself!"
Tina smiled coyly. "Ryan gave so dollars. If I scrape together the rest, I can manage."
It wasn’t surprising that she’d earned so dollars in property sales commissions. But so much dollars… that was telling.
She’d paid her own way through college. After three years as a sea fisherman, she had a sizable following and raked in plenty of gifts during holidays.
In truth, she’d keep the gifts for a few days before quietly selling them off. By now, she’d saved 50,000 dollars.
Before they could react, Tina pulled out her phone and tapped a few tis. "It’s transferred. Check tomorrow, Uncle—you’ll see."
Poverty stifled pride. The uncle opened his mouth to protest but ultimately raised his glass. "Alright. I’ll talk to him tomorrow."
The aunt bead. "Our Tina is so capable. College really changes people."
"Living in those damp, dark bungalows would’ve ruined our legs sooner or later. Thanks to Tina, we can move into a proper building."
After the al, they called a ride back to the city. In the back seat, Tina leaned against Ryan’s shoulder. "Ryan, don’t you want to ask sothing?"
Her hand gripped his tightly. Her eyes were complex—a swirl of emotions in that mont.
Then, she pulled an envelope from her bag. Before they left, the old lady had called her aside, whispered sothing, and pressed it into her hand.
"How generous."
Inside was ten thousand dollars. Tina sneered when she saw it.
She hesitated, sighed, and finally said nothing. Resting against Ryan, she looked utterly drained. Seeing this, Ryan didn’t press further.
Tina hugged Ryan tightly and said softly, "Ryan, I actually sold all the gifts you gave ."
"I know!" Ryan did not hide it and said, "I have never seen you wear that Cartier bracelet."
"Sorry…"
Tina seed very tired, ntally exhausted, and whispered, "Thank you for not rejecting today. I know I was just forcing you, but I really..."
"Okay, no need to explain. It’s not like we’re going to kill or burn anything."
Because he was drunk, he didn’t drive the motorcycle. Ryan thought it was unnecessary for him to drive like this, so he decided to give the key to Abigail tomorrow.
The car stopped at the school gate, and Ryan walked with her back to the girls’ dormitory. Tina said hesitantly, "Can we walk a little longer?"
"You should rest well!" Ryan shook his head.
"Oh well."
Tina felt a little helpless after being rejected. But after thinking carefully, she felt that she had gained sothing today, and she couldn’t be too greedy.
People were coming and going at the door of the girls’ dormitory. She was thinking that since it was officially announced, she should take the opportunity to say goodbye with a kiss. The hot search on the school again solidified this fact.
Unfortunately, as soon as she had the thought, Ryan waved at her and left with a smile.
"You’re just a piece of rotten wood who doesn’t understand romance!"
Tina stomped her feet in frustration, regretting her hesitation just now.
After returning to the dormitory, it was empty. Lying on the bed, she began to reflect on why she chose to go back to school with him instead of getting a room when there was such a good opportunity today.
Tina also felt that kind of alienation. Ryan was no longer the obedient licker he used to be.
Yana and Lyla, she guessed, were both very proactive, and their flirtatious and seductive manner was sothing no man could resist.
It was on this basis that Ryan tasted the sweetness and no longer cared about her, so thinking about her hesitation just now, Tina wanted to slap herself.
The next day, Ryan got up early and went to class as usual.
Lyla, Yana, and Abigail went to look at furniture today, and Ryan also gave her the car keys.
In the last row of the classroom, Tina sent a ssage early in the morning and brought the beef biscuits and mutton soup that Ryan wanted to eat.
Ryan ate without any hesitation. Even though it had been officially announced, the class still felt that this scene was a dream. There was no feeling of lovers finally getting married.
When Ryan was licking, everyone felt cheap and pitiful, but now that he had succeeded in licking her... it felt like a flower stuck in pig manure.
"Students!!"
In the first class, Yasmin walked up to the stage in a dignified skirt and said with a delicate smile, "The results of yesterday’s incident are out. Class monitor, co and read it out."
Talia jumped onto the platform, picked up the report, and began to read the results.
It wasn’t in their own class, but disrupting the classroom discipline of other classes. This matter wasn’t serious and would result in a derit in the end.
"YEAH!!"
The gentle group cheered as if they had won a battle.
Before, Yasmin did not have much prestige in the class, but after the Kaiden incident, all the students in the Literature departnt were convinced.
"On Saturday and Sunday, so students have to go ho, so have to work, and many are busy with dates, so we won’t disturb everyone’s precious rest ti."
