"Hey, the celebrity of our class is here."
"Student Ryan, do you need to ask Tina if she's coming today? If she doesn't co, your trip will be in vain."
Ryan found a seat at the end of the last row and sat down, scolding with a smile, "Get lost, my leave isn't over yet. It was my teacher who asked to co."
Ryan couldn't rember the nas of at least half of his classmates, and he even didn't recognize so of them as classmates when he t them.
Just like Weston and Jacob, who were from different departnts, they usually got along well with their roommates in the sa dormitory during college. Everyone lived in different dormitories and had different social circles.
"Ryan, you're here!"
A graceful figure walked into the classroom. A sky-blue dress outlined her graceful figure. She had a ponytail, looking lively and youthful.
She had an innocent and pretty little face and looked especially sweet when she smiled. She deserved the title of sweet baby.
Tina held a stead dumpling and a bowl of soup in her hands, then smiled with surprise and walked straight to the last row. The smile on her face was bright and pure.
She almost trotted to the last row, sat down next to Ryan with brisk steps, and asked with a sweet smile, "You haven't had breakfast yet, right? Can we eat together?"
Ryan looked at it and asked, "What did you buy?"
Tina smiled softly and said in a coquettish voice, "One serving of beef dumplings and one serving of beef spicy soup. I rember you like them both."
After a pause, she said in a tender voice, "There is still ti. If these don't suit your taste, I'll buy you what you want to eat."
This scene stunned all the students present, and they couldn't help but talk about it in private.
"Damn, it's Ryan. Why is Tina being so nice to him today?"
"Yeah, before, Tina would always co late, and when she arrived, that simp would already have breakfast waiting for her."
"In the past, even the emperor's eunuchs weren't this attentive. What the hell, did I eat so bad mushrooms and start hallucinating?"
"Tina used to eat alone, but now she wants to eat together. I must be hearing things."
"Seriously, does this loser have so dirt on Tina? Why the sudden change... I can't accept this."
The whispers were quiet, but the two heard them. Tina blushed and said softly, "Brother Ryan, ignore them. I'll buy you whatever you want to eat."
"No!"
Ryan shook his head, picked up a bun, and said, "Let's split it!"
"Okay!"
Tina smiled happily, handing the soup to Ryan first. "Drink this while it's hot..."
Her attentive, considerate deanor was unbelievable. The students around them lowered their heads, exchanging stunned glances, wondering if they were hallucinating.
Ryan drank the soup and asked casually, "Where's Lyla? Why didn't she co with us?"
Even though her best friend had betrayed her, they were still on decent terms. If they talked it out, they wouldn't cut ties—just that their sisterly bond had weakened slightly.
In fact, the brainless guys in their class had heated debates about who the real beauty of the Literature Departnt was.
So argued for Tina, while others championed Lyla. So even said Tina should compete for the title of school belle.
In terms of looks and figure, they were evenly matched—both were campus beauties.
This didn't affect their friendship. Lyla, as close as a sister, had voted for Tina, securing her spot as the undisputed beauty of the Literature Departnt.
Lyla didn't care about titles anyway. Besides, being the school belle wasn't inherently superior to being the departnt belle. It was all just fun and gas.
Tina picked up a bun and handed it to Ryan with a charming smile. "She took a week off. She's been so busy lately that she crashes as soon as she gets back."
"She's been gone so much, she's practically a missing person."
Ryan then rembered—Yana and Lyla had ntioned taking a week off. Sotis, Lyla even stayed over at Yana's place.
Tina actually knew about this too, since they went shopping together every day.
The love nest they were secretly furnishing was being decorated ticulously. To them, it wasn't just a house—it was a ho, their future haven.
So they chose everything carefully. Even without worrying about cost, they still compared prices across stores to create their dream space.
Of course Tina knew what they were up to, and she burned with jealousy—but then she realized this was her chance.
They'd be busy all week, aning Ryan would be alone. She could use this ti to get closer to him.
Ryan's leave had been canceled after his follow-up, but third-year students weren't monitored strictly. Half of them skipped classes regularly—so for work, others just because they didn't feel like attending.
Graduating from the Literature Departnt wasn't hard. Plus, Yasmin wasn't strict—missing a few classes was fine as long as credits weren't affected.
The major had low standards anyway, and with the joke about graduates ending up jobless, so studied hard just to switch majors.
Ryan slapped his forehead. "Oh right, she told about that."
"Brother Ryan's so busy, it's normal to forget small things," Tina said eagerly.
This was the alone ti she'd been waiting for. She'd planned to sign in, then ask Weston and the others if Ryan was in the dorm.
If he was, she'd sneak in when his roommates were out and make her move. Who wouldn't?
But Ryan, whose schedule had beco unpredictable, actually showed up to class. The one-on-one setting was ruined, slightly derailing her plans.
Still, there was room to maneuver in public...
More students arrived, noticing the bizarre scene. The person always beside Tina used to be her bodyguard, Lyla—but now it was Ryan. A historic mont.
"No way!!!"
"Tina's lost her mind?? I'm seeing this with my own eyes."
