Luo Shu walked over and picked up the phone, “Hello!”

“Do you need sothing from your sister?” Luo Shu was a bit surprised to receive a call from Xu Yan.
“I just miss my sister and the siblings,” said Xu Yan.

“Hanmo, when are we going back to Jinchen?” Luo Shu asked. She was feeling rather conflicted at the mont; she both wanted to ascend sooner and yet didn’t want to ascend too quickly. The issue of what to do with the babies also left her deeply troubled.
“We still have a few days. I have to go out for a mission tomorrow. These continuous rains have caused floods in many places.” Lu Hanmo saw that the vegetables were almost ready, so he picked up so seasoning, added it to the pan, and then closed the lid. “Or I’ll co back instead. It would be too hard on you,” he said, not willing to let her go through any hardship, and besides, this had been his plan all along—to co back and see her whenever he could.
Seeing that the dish was ready, Lu Hanmo reached out to open the lid, added so MSG, turned off the gas, and took a plate from the side to serve the vegetables.
“It’s not hard. It’s more convenient for to co to you, and the floods are not like other things, which can strike at any mont,” Luo Shu said, taking the plate and placing it to the side.
Lu Hanmo stretched out his arm to wrap Luo Shu in his embrace and kissed her lips. “Shushu, I really love you!” To be with Shushu in this lifeti was all he could ever ask for.
“I love you too!” Luo Shu wrapped her arms around Lu Hanmo’s waist, listening to his steady and strong heartbeat, her face brimming with sweet and contented smiles.
“I will show you with my actions how much I love you,” Lu Hanmo said, his lips curving into a wicked smile as he lifted Luo Shu up and strode toward their bedroom.
A passionate night ensued until dawn began to break, and only then did the two of them reluctantly part.
Watching the retreating figure of Lu Hanmo, Luo Shu did not shift her gaze for a long ti before turning around and walking back into the house.
Houses, farmland, trees—almost all subrged, with only the roofs peeping out from the floodwaters here and there, along with the branches of a few large trees. The whole world seed to be drowned in an expanse of water.

Lifeboats were dropped from the plane, and Lu Hanmo, along with a few soldiers, set off in different directions. Now, ti was life, and saving even one more person mattered.
Lu Hanmo expanded his Divine Sense and quickly spotted, not far away on the rooftop of a house, a young couple holding a child, sitting there in despair.
