Chapter 863: Eight hundred sixty-one, Lake Heart Park
“I will accompany you when the ti cos.” Lu Hanmo reached out and held Luo Shu’s hand, gazing at her tenderly. No matter what, he would face it with her.
“Okay!” Luo Shu replied softly, her hand holding the Ring slowly tightening. After she arrived at Lan Star, she would decide what to do then.
“Are the Babies in the space?” Lu Hanmo asked. When he had returned, his parents were watching TV in the living room, and he hadn’t seen the two babies.
“They like to stay in the space. They don’t even want to co out when I hold them.” Luo Shu’s lips curled into a smile at the ntion of the two babies.
“Let’s go in and see them,” suggested Lu Hanmo.
Luo Shu nodded and pulled Lu Hanmo into the space. Now that she had given birth to the babies, it was ti to devote herself entirely to Cultivation with Hanmo. Xiao Qing and Long Jing had already gone to the Immortal Realm; she wondered how they were doing now.
Looking at the two babies frolicking with Xiao Bai and Xiao Hei by the Spiritual Spring, Luo Shu said, “Should we bring the babies with us when we Ascend?” She didn’t know what the Immortal Realm was like, and she was worried whether the babies would be in danger if they went too. If she didn’t bring them, she didn’t know how long it would be before she could see them again. She truly did not want to be separated from them.
“When the ti cos for our Ascension, let’s discuss it with everyone else,” said Lu Hanmo. Given Shushu’s current level of Cultivation, Ascension should still be a year or two away.
“Let’s bring them with us when we go to Lan Star.” She didn’t want to be separated from them for even a mont unless absolutely necessary.
“Okay!” Lu Hanmo nodded in agreent. He also did not want to be separated from his wife and children.
Life went on smoothly, with Luo Shu playing with the children and practicing her Cultivation each day. Soon a month had passed.
Humming a tune in good spirits, Luo Shu changed her clothes, grabbed her bag, and left the house. She was finally free from having to drink nourishing soups and could go wherever she wanted.
Driving to the place she had arranged with Mu Wan, Luo Shu arrived.
“Luo Shu!” Mu Wan greeted her with a smile. She had been busy with filming recently and hadn’t had the ti to visit Luo Shu. Counting the days, Luo Shu should have finished her confinent period, so taking advantage of her free days, Mu Wan decided to visit. She had called Luo Shu the day before and, learning that she was able to go out shopping, made plans to go out today.
“Didn’t you bring the babies?” The thought of the two children filled Mu Wan with joy; she hadn’t t such smart and beautiful children before.
“I drove here myself, so I couldn’t bring them,” said Luo Shu with a smile. She preferred to drive herself rather than rely on others.
“I would’ve gone to your house had I known; I’ve missed those little ones so much in just a few days. Especially the little brother, the way he vigorously sucks on his milk bottle makes one want to kiss him a few tis.” She loved the babies, not just because they were truly adorable, but mainly because they didn’t cry. She liked children, but was very afraid of their crying.
Thinking of her son, Luo Shu couldn’t help but laugh, “After shopping, you can co back with .”
“Sure, let’s get going,” said Mu Wan as she took Luo Shu’s hand and walked forward, “Is there anything you want to buy?”
Luo Shu shook her head, “I haven’t been out for a while, so I just wanted to walk around.” She had been at ho for so long that she felt she would mold if she didn’t get out to enjoy so sunshine.
“If you’re not buying anything, let’s go to Lake Heart Park. It has just been newly completed,” suggested Mu Wan.
“Mm!” Luo Shu agreed and walked towards Lake Heart Park with Mu Wan.
“Luo Shu, there’s sothing I want to ask your opinion on,” said Mu Wan hesitantly.
“Go ahead,” replied Luo Shu, looking at Mu Wan.
“Recently a man has been pursuing , and I don’t know whether to accept.” She had been conflicted over this for quite so ti. If she had no feelings for the man, she wouldn’t have been so troubled. However, if she accepted his pursuit, she would surely have to give up acting. It was truly a difficult choice.
“Do you like him?” Luo Shu asked.
“Uh huh!” Mu Wan nodded, “He is the son of my mother’s younger sister and has just returned from abroad. Last month during his grandfather’s birthday, I accompanied my mother to the celebration, and that’s when we t. I have a good impression of him, but I also really like acting; I truly don’t know how to choose.”
“In that case, it really depends on how deep your impression of him is, to see whether he’s worth abandoning sothing for him or not,” Luo Shu said. If it were her and the person was Hanmo, she would definitely be willing to give up.
“We haven’t started dating yet; he’s just pursuing .” Thinking of the scene where he gave her flowers made a bashful smile appear on Mu Wan’s face. That day, when she finished filming and walked out, she saw him standing there with a big bouquet of Chinese roses.
He said he had wanted to give her roses but Jinchen couldn’t find any, so when he saw soone’s yard with Chinese roses, he bought eleven of them. It symbolized his wholehearted devotion to her.
At that mont, her heart was truly touched; she nearly agreed to him on the spot. Only the thought of her current career stopped her from letting the words slip out.
“You have a good impression of him; you can try dating him but be careful not to lose your heart and body too readily,” Luo Shu said. Once a woman loses her heart and body, she loses everything. Luo Shu didn’t want Mu Wan to get hurt.
“I understand!” Mu Wan nodded. Even if she agreed to date him, she would guard her own heart and body. That way, even if they ended up parting ways, she could still face everything with composure.
The two arrived at the lakeside, where quite a number of people were sitting by the water, fishing.
This lake was a man-made one, with all the fish in it being artificially bred. Tourists could rent fishing rods and fish in the lake. However, the rental price for the fishing rods was not cheap, and there was a ti limit; exceeding it ant paying extra.
“There’s a place renting fishing rods over there; let’s go fish as well,” Mu Wan pointed to a nearby stall, speaking with interest.
“Okay!” Luo Shu nodded with a smile.
They approached the stall to find a young man with a child in tow renting a fishing rod.
“Boss, how do you rent these fishing rods?” the young man asked. He had brought his kid out for a day of fun, and upon seeing goldfish in the lake, the child insisted on going fishing, so he had no choice but to agree.
“One dollar per hour, bait included. Within this hour, no matter how many fish you catch, you can take them all. This is the bait,” the boss said, grabbing a clump of pink bait made of flour from the basin on his stand.
“Daddy!” The little boy looked up at his father with eager and pleading eyes.
The young man thought about it and felt that one dollar was within an acceptable range, so he took out a dollar from his pocket and gave it to the boss.
The boss happily took the money, handed a fishing rod and the clump of pink dough to the father and son, and pointed to the plastic fish tanks on his stand, “Fish tanks are fifty cents each. If you want a plastic bag, you can just take one.”
“Xiao Guang, grab a plastic bag for us, we’re going fishing,” the young man said to his son. As for the fish tank, he obviously wasn’t going to buy one.
“Okay, Daddy!” The little boy cheerfully grabbed a plastic bag and followed his dad, hopping and skipping to the lakeside to go fishing.
Mu Wan handed three dollars to the boss, “I want two fishing rods and two fish tanks.”
“Alright!” The boss took the money with satisfaction, gave Luo Shu and Mu Wan two fishing rods and bait, and handed them two plastic fish tanks.
Mu Wan, holding a fish tank, looked at Luo Shu with a smile, “Let’s have a competition to see who can catch more fish.” As a child, she often went fishing with her grandfather.
