Chapter 720: Seven hundred and eighteen, not suitable. Chapter 720: Seven hundred and eighteen, not suitable. Feeling soone nudging her, Chen Xiaong snapped back to reality, “Huh?”
“It’s about ti, let’s head back,” said Liu ngyao.
Chen Xiaong looked towards the filming site and realized that, without her knowing, they had finished shooting, “Where are they?”
“Mu Wan and the others went to shoot another scene, Luo Shu and her group have already left, they’re waiting for us outside,” Liu ngyao pointed outside. Everyone else had left while the shooting was still ongoing, and seeing Xiaong fixated on Mo Li, they didn’t call her. It was just as well since she was quite interested in the filming process, so she stayed behind to accompany Xiaong.
Chen Xiaong smiled sheepishly, “Let’s go outside.” She was so lost in thought that she was oblivious to her surroundings, how embarrassing! Who knows how those guys will tease her later.
Liu ngyao thought for a mont, then turned to Chen Xiaong and asked, “Xiaong, do you really like that Mo Li?”
Chen Xiaong fell into thought and then shook her head in confusion, “I don’t know, my heart just goes wild whenever I see him.” She barely understood love, usually just getting snippets from books and conversations with others. Seeing that everyone was finding boyfriends, she also wanted to find one but after eting a few guys, she just couldn’t find the urge to date them. However, when she saw Mo Li, that urge just ca out of nowhere. She must like him!
“That’s liking soone,” Liu ngyao confird.
“What should I do?” Chen Xiaong suddenly felt anxious, nervous, and at a loss. She’d never liked a boy before and truly didn’t know what to do.
“These things should just take their natural course. Xiaong, let give you a piece of advice, don’t give your heart away until you’re sure the other person likes you back, or you’ll end up getting hurt,” Liu ngyao gazed at Chen Xiaong seriously and cautioned her. Xiaong was a very innocent and lovable girl, fond of laughing, eating, and lazily reading novels in bed. Although people change over ti, she really didn’t want Xiaong to change because of emotional hurt.
“I understand,” Chen Xiaong nodded in response.
Liu ngyao smiled faintly, “Let’s go outside.” She didn’t hold a very good opinion of Mo Li, thinking that such a man was too fickle and not suitable for Xiaong.
The rain had stopped, but the sky remained gloomy as if it could start raining again at any mont.
The group was chatting in the pavilion, and as Liu ngyao and Chen Xiaong ca out, they all got up and left the pavilion.
“Are we going back to the dorm now?” Chen Xiaong asked the others.
“We’re going to have dinner first, then head back to the dorm,” said Zhang Qi. It was nearly five in the afternoon and after what happened at noon, they didn’t fancy going to the cafeteria again, so after so discussion, they decided to have dinner at their usual restaurant before returning.
“Perfect, I’m starving. Let’s get going,” Chen Xiaong laughed. She hadn’t realized it until Zhang Qi ntioned it, but then her stomach started rebelling again. She truly was a foodie!
The group exchanged glances and headed outside. In their hearts, their thoughts were similar to Liu ngyao’s, all feeling that Mo Li wasn’t suitable for Chen Xiaong. Seeing that Xiaong hadn’t invested too much emotionally in Mo Li yet, they all felt sowhat relieved.
As Chen Xiaong stepped out the door, she looked back wistfully. She would return here in the future, whether she ended up with Mo Li or not, she was determined to try.
After dinner, a light drizzle began to fall from the sky once more.
Everyone returned to the dorm, washed up, and then lay on their beds, chatting sporadically.
“I really hope it doesn’t rain in the next two days.” Wang Fei said with her eyes closed, lying on the bed with a black face mask on.
“The weather forecast said there won’t be any rain.” Liu ngyao also had a face mask on.
Luo Shu made the face masks herself, and besides her friends, they weren’t for sale anywhere else. These masks were even more effective than the Snow Skin Cream available on the market.
“I was worried the forecast might be wrong. Actually, I was planning to have a destination wedding with Yang Mujing. But our decision was unanimously opposed by our families.” Wang Fei said regretfully. She and Yang Mujing hadn’t had a break for a long ti and had wanted to take a trip for their wedding, but since their families were against it, they had to abandon the idea.
“That idea of yours is quite modern, huh?”
“I saw this kind of wedding on TV; it’s both romantic and economical.”
“Xiaong, why aren’t you saying anything? You didn’t fall asleep, did you?” Seeing that Chen Xiaong, who usually talked the most, was silent, Zhang Qi curiously peered down from the upper bunk.
“I haven’t fallen asleep.” Chen Xiaong snapped back to reality. She had been lost in thought and had zoned out unwittingly.
“Xiaong, you’re not still thinking about Mo Li, are you?” Wang Fei took off her face mask and looked at Chen Xiaong.
Everyone turned their eyes toward Chen Xiaong. Her behavior was so out of character today; could it be true that Cupid’s Arrow had struck her?
Chen Xiaong bit her lip, pondering for a mont, then sat up and looked at Wang Fei, “Wang Fei, could you find a role in The Stone Record?” She wanted to give it a try, and if it didn’t work out, it wouldn’t be too late to give up.
“No,” Wang Fei promptly refused Chen Xiaong’s request, “Xiaong, you don’t know Mo Li, he’s not right for you.” She sowhat regretted bringing Xiaong to the set.
“But I want to try. If it doesn’t work out after trying, then I’ll give up.” Chen Xiaong said. It was her first ti being moved like this, and she didn’t want to give up so quickly.
“Mo Li is a very flirtatious man, only suited to be a friend, not a husband,” Wang Fei said. In the film industry, Mo Li was known as ‘Flower Master,’ with many female friends. Soone like Xiaong was definitely not suitable for him; otherwise, she would only get hurt.
“Xiaong, we really don’t want to see you get hurt.”
“Please take our advice, stay away from Mo Li, he really isn’t right for you.” Everyone urged her emphatically.
Luo Shu stood up, walked over to Chen Xiaong, and handed her so docunts. It was information about Mo Li that she had soone gather during their dinner.
“Here’s so information about Mo Li; take a look.” Sotis people can be stubborn, especially when it cos to love. Even when they know they shouldn’t, they still can’t help themselves. The more others oppose, the more they want to proceed. In her past life, wasn’t she the sa way? Although she, like everyone else, didn’t want Chen Xiaong to get hurt, the decision was still in Chen Xiaong’s hands.
