Chapter 717: Seven hundred and fifteen, apologize Chapter 717: Seven hundred and fifteen, apologize Chen Xiaong and her group, anwhile, had co back with their trays and handed Luo Shu and Zhang Qi their als.
“These first-year freshn are so arrogant now. They don’t pay any respect to us seniors at all.”
“And they even dared to bully Luo Shu. They deserved to be beaten up.”
“I’m going out to see what happens to those people.”
“ too, are you guys coming?” Chen Xiaong and Zhang Qi stood up and asked the others.
“We’ll just chat here. You can tell us what happened when you get back,” Wang Fei said with a smile. By now, she had seen all sorts of people and really couldn’t muster interest in such matters.
“Make it quick and co back. It’s not often that we get to gather like this on campus, so don’t waste ti because of so irrelevant people,” Liu ngyao said as she ca back with soup and placed it on the table, sliding it in front of Luo Shu.
“Okay! We’ll be back soon.” Zhang Qi grabbed Chen Xiaong and hurried outside.
Outside the cafeteria, they saw two teachers trying to calm down the agitated students while a girl in a red ski jacket and her companion sat on the ground, crying in fear.
After learning what had happened, the two teachers approached the girl in the red ski jacket and her companion.
“You really went too far this ti. A mark on your record is inevitable. Go back and reflect on your actions,” one of the teachers said. Luo Shu not only held an important place in the hearts of the students but was also adored by the teachers. Moreover, Luo Shu was now married to Lu Hanmo, the renowned War God of Yan Country.
The teachers knew of Luo Shu’s marriage and her special status at Jinchen University. At a recent eting, the principal had discussed Luo Shu’s situation with them, so they were aware of so details about her.
“Teacher, we know we were wrong. We’ll go apologize to her, please don’t mark us for this, okay?”
“We really didn’t know she was Luo Shu.” If they had known, they wouldn’t have dared to take Luo Shu’s spot even with a hundred tis the courage.
When they entered the school and attended the orientation, the head of the educational departnt had used Luo Shu’s story as an example and had discussed it during the assembly. They admired Luo Shu after hearing her story and wanted to et her, to see what kind of person she was. But today, they had foolishly taken Luo Shu’s spot and mocked her. They deserved to be beaten, but having a record of misconduct could greatly affect their future.
The two teachers shook their heads and walked toward the distance. Even if Luo Shu didn’t pursue the matter, the school would certainly provide a satisfactory outco for her.
Zhang Qi and Chen Xiaong returned to the cafeteria and recounted the situation outside to everyone.
“So people just need to suffer before they understand their mistakes.”
“Those people have a problem with their character. Ordinary folks wouldn’t snatch a spot from a pregnant woman.”
“Exactly, whether they apologize or not, we should not forgive them.”
As everyone was discussing, they saw the girl in the red ski jacket and her companion co in, looking sowhat disheveled.
“We’re sorry! We were wrong! We shouldn’t have taken your spot just now.”
“Please forgive us this ti. We won’t do it again in the future.”
“Go away! Don’t spoil our mood,” Zhang Qi said bluntly. She had no sympathy for people who would bully a pregnant woman.
“I’ve heard your apology, now leave,” Luo Shu said calmly.
“So, do you forgive us?” The girl in the red ski jacket and her companion looked at Luo Shu expectantly.
“If apologies were useful, what would we need security officers for?” Luo Shu had always felt there was a lot of truth in that saying. She could accept apologies, but whether she forgave soone depended on the circumstance. She was not soone who would say it’s okay just because the other person apologized; she never wronged herself.
“You heard what Luo Shu said. Now go, don’t disturb us while we’re eating,” Chen Xiaong said, waving them off.
“But if you don’t forgive us, the school will record a derit against us,” the girl with glasses said, her eyes filled with a pleading look as she stared at Luo Shu.
“This will affect our future, please be gracious and forgive us this once,” the girl nad Xinxin also implored tearfully. She was truly regretful now.
“That’s your own concern,” Wang Fei said.
“Perhaps you still don’t understand where you went wrong. Are you apologizing just because you don’t want a derit?” Xiao Yan scoffed.
“Enough talk. Even if Luo Shu forgives you, we won’t. Bullying a pregnant woman is no skill,” Zhang Qi snorted coldly. If Luo Shu wasn’t pregnant and they had taken her spot, perhaps she wouldn’t be so angry. But they knew Luo Shu was pregnant and still acted the way they did, which was utterly unforgivable.
The girl in the red ski jacket wanted to say more, but hearing Zhang Qi continue, “If you don’t leave, I’ll have everyone drive you out again.”
The girl in the red ski jacket exchanged a glance with her companion. After looking at Luo Shu for a while and seeing that she was unmoved, they could only leave dejectedly.
After finishing their al, Luo Shu’s group left the cafeteria and went back to the dormitory. Despite not being approached by anyone, the sensation of being watched by everyone was not pleasant.
Back at the dormitory, everyone did as they used to do, grabbing a novel and curled up in their beds, reading and chatting sporadically. It was raining outside, the weather was cold, and there was nothing more comfortable than lying in bed under a blanket, reading novels, and chatting.
“Wang Fei, have you arranged everything? Is there anything we can help with?” Liu ngyao asked.
Wang Fei nodded, “It’s almost ready. Just be there on ti tomorrow night.” Her wedding feast was also arranged at a hotel. Although she had discussed with her family to keep everything simple, so unavoidable customs still had to be followed.
“Of course,” everyone said, laughing.
“Are you wearing a Yan-style wedding dress or a federation wedding gown?”
“I’ve prepared both.”
“Did Yang Mujing invite anyone from the Yang family this ti?” Luo Shu asked. She had forgotten to ask her mother about this during their conversation the day before. Yang Mujing was soone who valued past relationships, and though he had long stopped associating with the Yang family, he might invite them this ti out of regard for the past.
