Zhang Xiaoling watched Luo Shu’s movents, feeling sowhat envious. Despite both being won, Luo Shu had a certain deanor she could never seem to emulate.

The news quickly spread throughout the Guard’s mbers Courtyard, and both Guard’s Wives who had and had not worked under Zhang Xiaoling gathered at her house.

When Luo Shu woke up, it was already evening.
“You’re awake!” The refreshing voice of Lu Hanmo ca from nearby.
Sitting up, Luo Shu saw Lu Hanmo sitting beside her, reading the newspaper, and she gave him a slight smile.

“But I love holding you,” said Lu Hanmo, looking at Luo Shu adoringly as he carried her to the bathroom.
Once in the bathroom, Lu Hanmo gently put Luo Shu down, helped her fill a cup of water, and handed her the toothbrush with toothpaste on it.
Taking the toothbrush and toothpaste, Luo Shu playfully rolled her eyes at Lu Hanmo, “I’m almost like a useless person now.” Yet, she really enjoyed the feeling of being pampered by him.
“Shushu, I’ve taken a week off. Where would you like to go?” Lu Hanmo said after Luo Shu finished brushing her teeth, offering her a towel.
Luo Shu looked at Lu Hanmo with surprise, “I want to go everywhere.” She also wanted to see her mother, who was nearly eight months pregnant, and it wouldn’t be long before the birth. She was curious to know if the child would be her brother from her previous life. Rembering their kindness towards her back then, she truly missed them.
