Chapter 539: Five hundred thirty-seven, Ancient Yue Sword Sect Chapter 539: Five hundred thirty-seven, Ancient Yue Sword Sect “Like this!” Lu Hanmo rested his chin on Luo Shu’s shoulder, smiling as he admired the night view with her.
“I’m leaving with Big uncle and the others tomorrow to attend the exchange eting organized by the Ancient Yue Sword Sect, Mom and my second aunt are also going this ti,” Luo Shu said.
Lu Hanmo nodded, “How many days will you need to be away?”
“About five days,” Luo Shu replied. The thought of not seeing him for several days made her feel an empty sensation in her heart.
“I really wish I could go with you,” said Lu Hanmo, sounding sowhat dejected. But he had just requested leave and now simply couldn’t arrange another vacation.
Luo Shu turned around, looped her arms around Lu Hanmo’s neck, tiptoed, and smiled as she kissed his thin lips, “Five days will pass quickly, chat with at night whenever you miss .”
Lu Hanmo gave a shallow smile and leaned down to kiss the tip of Luo Shu’s nose, “Then I’ll chat with you every night.”
“Good! I’ll wait for you!” Luo Shu’s lips curled into a sweet smile as she gently leaned her head against Lu Hanmo’s chest. This was her ho for life! Her support!
After breakfast, Luo Shu and the group made their way to the Divine Doctor Family’s airfield to gather. With so many of them traveling together, it was naturally impossible to fly there using Sword Flight.
Luo Xiuran looked over the group with a satisfied smile curling at the corners of his mouth, “Everyone, please board the plane!” He, Xiuyi, and Xiuye were leading the team this ti, together with Qian Yu, Qian Xun, Shushu, and twelve family youngsters, as well as Zhu Huizhen and Ye Shanshan, adding up to twenty people in total.
The group boarded the plane and as it slowly ascended, they soon found themselves smoothly sailing through the Yunhai, speeding towards the Ancient Yue Sword Sect. Everyone was filled with anticipation for this journey.
The Ancient Yue Sword Sect was situated atop Mount Yue, from a distance one could see a chain of green hills undulating upwards, with mountain peaks soaring into the clouds. Amidst the lush greenery, a majestic silver waterfall dangled from a sheer cliff, cascading and fluttering, a sight both pleasing and refreshing to the beholder.
The plane descended slowly and landed at the summit of Mount Yue, right in front of the entrance to the Ancient Yue Sword Sect. As soon as everyone stepped off the plane, two disciples clad in green robes from the Ancient Yue Sword Sect ca forward to greet them.
“Welco, esteed guests! Please present your invitations,” said one of the tall, skinny disciples.
Luo Qianxun took out the invitations, stepped forward, and handed them to the tall disciple.
After a glance, the skinny disciple handed back the invitations to Luo Qianxun, “Esteed guests, please co inside!”
He made a welcoming gesture to the group and started leading the way.
Passing through the Mountain Protection Array of the Ancient Yue Sword Sect, what ca into view was an antique and expansive estate. As they walked into the estate, they saw small bridges over Flowing Water, rock gardens, and ponds carved by hand with lotus flowers in full bloom, exuding a refreshing fragrance that made one forget their worries.
Following the cobblestone path past the Lotus Pond, there stood a vast Training Ground. At that mont, two disciples of the Ancient Yue Sword Sect were engaged in combat on a circular arena in the center of the Training Ground, surrounded by onlookers.
The tall, skinny disciple glanced at the battling pair on the platform and told the crowd, “This is our Ancient Yue Sword Sect’s Training Ground, where the martial arts competition of the sect exchange eting will be held.”
He did not stop but led everyone through the Martial Arts Arena, and after passing through several long corridors, they arrived at a small separate courtyard, “Honored guests! Your rooms are here, three to a room. If you need anything, you can always command our disciples.”
He pointed to the seven connected rooms on the right, smiled at the group, perford a polite gesture, then turned and left.
Luo Shu stepped forward, pushed open the door of one of the rooms, and saw only simple furnishings inside. Apart from a table, four chairs, and three connected beds, there was nothing else.
“Big Uncle, are all sects pretty much the sa?” Zhu Huizhen and Ye Shanshan sat down on the chairs. As they walked along, they noticed that this place had many similarities to the Divine Doctor Family. The difference was that one was built on the mountaintop, and the other at the bottom of a cliff.
“I haven’t seen many sects myself,” Luo Shu said with a smile.
“This guest room is indeed quite sparse,” Ye Shanshan glanced around and shook her head. She wasn’t being fussy; it was just that this was quite different from what she had imagined.
“Well, it’s only for a few days, so let’s just make do,” Zhu Huizhen said with a smile. She felt sowhat disappointed too. Perhaps the greater the hope, the larger the disappointnt!
Luo Shu smiled faintly, sat down beside the two, and took out so snacks, a pot of tea, and three cups from his space, pouring a cup for each of them, “Many True Cultivation Sects, in order to train their disciples’ temperants, will only place a ditation cushion in the disciples’ rooms.”
“Don’t those disciples sleep?” Ye Shanshan asked in surprise.
Luo Shu nodded with a smile, “It’s very normal for a Cultivator to not sleep for ten days or half a month.” She often did the sa when cultivating. A Cultivator’s constitution was different from ordinary people’s; they need only cultivate, nourishing their bodies with Spiritual Power. Going without sleep for ten days or half a month, or even a year and a half, they would still be vigorous.
“The world of Cultivators is indeed beyond our imagination,” Zhu Huizhen exclaid. Although she was now considered a True Cultivator, she was used to her previous routine. Asking her not to sleep for one night made her feel uncomfortable, let alone ten days or half a month.
“I definitely couldn’t handle not sleeping,” Ye Shanshan nodded in agreent. Even though she had been cultivating for a while, she often forgot this.
“Everyone cultivates in different ways,” Luo Shu said, picking up the teacup and taking a light sip at the rim. What one seeks differs, and so does what one invests.
Voices ca from outside. It seed that another sect or family had arrived.
Ye Shanshan put down the snacks in her hand, stood up, and went to the door, only to see a small group of twenty people led by a disciple from the Ancient Yue Sword Sect arriving here.
The group consisted of n and won, old and young, all dressed in white robes with long hair, conveying an ethereal air.
Feeling soone watching them, a girl turned her head and, after seeing Ye Shanshan’s Cultivation, the corner of her mouth revealed a disdainful curve. The opposing sect, unknown and with mbers not even at the Foundation Establishnt stage, were brought out to make up the numbers, how pitiful and lantable!
Zhu Huizhen also walked out curiously. Seeing the other party’s attire, she felt puzzled. Did all True Cultivation Sect disciples wear such clothes? She decided to have a set tailored another day to see how it felt to wear it.
As the girl was about to look away, she saw Zhu Huizhen co out, and the scorn in her eyes deepened. Did such a sect even deserve to participate in a sect exchange eting? How shaful!
