Chapter 494: Four hundred ninety-two, treasure location Chapter 494: Four hundred ninety-two, treasure location The two cultivators stopped at Luo Shu’s room’s door and looked at the room in front of them, only to see that the room was surrounded by a Formation.
One of the cultivators stepped forward, raised his hand to knock on the door, and when no one ca to open it, he called out, “Yun Han, are you in there? Elder Zhao is asking for you.”
After knocking for a long ti, there was still no movent inside.
“Could it be that Yun Han is not inside?” the other cultivator wondered.
“Now that they’re not opening the door, what shall we do?” the cultivator who had knocked asked. Even if Yun Han wasn’t inside, Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo were, and they surely couldn’t just break in, could they?
“Weren’t you told to call for Yun Han? Why are you dawdling?” Dongfang Yanran approached, an impatient look on her face.
“I knocked but got no response,” said the cultivator who had knocked.
“Yun Han isn’t inside? But soone clearly saw him go in there,” Dongfang Yanran said, puzzled.
“There should be soone inside. The hotel staff just ca out from there not long ago, and she was talking to soone inside,” stated the other cultivator.
“Then knock again, and if that doesn’t work, we’ll break in,” Dongfang Yanran declared. She had just been scolded by her brother and was filled with frustration.
The three of them knocked for a long ti, but still, there was no sign of life from inside the room.
Dongfang Yanran took out a Formation Flag and broke in, only to find the room completely empty.
“Quick, send soone to search,” Dongfang Yanran said, sensing a bad feeling, as if she was about to lose sothing very important.
At this mont, Luo Shu had already left Phoenix Feather City. She hadn’t been out of the room for long before she changed into her own clothes. Wearing the hotel staff’s uniform was ant to be a disguise; standing out would be the last thing she wanted when leaving the hotel.
Summoning her Flying Sword, Luo Shu flew toward the range of towering mountains.
After landing below a cliff, Luo Shu set up a Concealnt Formation and flashed into the space within.
“How about it? Do we have the location of the Teleportation Array?” Luo Shu asked eagerly.
“The map we obtained this ti doesn’t have it, but the map we found at the Drum Mountain Training Camp’s back mountain does,” Lu Hanmo said, delighted. He felt a sense of familiarity when he saw the map, as if he had seen it sowhere before.
Thinking of the map that he and Shushu had found in a cave behind the Drum Mountain Training Camp, he took out the map. Upon comparison, he discovered that the two maps were identical. The only difference was that their map showed the location of the Teleportation Array, whereas the new map they had acquired was just a Treasure Map, highlighting a spot in red. Coincidentally, the map they had also marked that very spot.
“When we got that map, didn’t we also find a key? Maybe we should check that place out before we head back,” Luo Shu suggested excitedly. Such coincidences in the world! It seed the treasure was ant for them. If only they had known earlier, they could have saved themselves a lot of trouble.
Lu Hanmo nodded, “The three of us together make too big a target. I’ll go in disguise this ti.”
“Okay!” Luo Shu and Yun Han had no objections. With Lu Hanmo being the strongest among them, he would naturally also be the fastest. Getting there sooner to check things out would an they could return sooner as well.
Three days later, Lu Hanmo arrived at the place marked on the map. What he didn’t expect was that it turned out to be a graveyard.
Chill winds howled, and a sinister deathly aura enveloped the entire cetery, causing an involuntary tingling sensation on the scalp.
The mont Lu Hanmo descended from mid-air, nurous Souls wandering the graveyard surged towards him, with so even attempting to seize his body.
A powerful aura burst forth from his body, sending the surrounding Souls scattering in fright.
Lu Hanmo’s Divine Sense swept over countless tombstones, quickly locating the grave he was searching for.
He walked up to the marked grave, which did not seem to differ much from the others, except that its tombstone bore no inscription about the deceased.
With the wave of a Formation Flag, the tombstone slowly sank into the ground until it was completely subrged.
Then, with the sound of creaking, a long passageway appeared before Lu Hanmo, stretching endlessly downward.
Stepping into the passageway, Lu Hanmo wielded another Formation Flag. The tombstone that had sunk into the ground slowly rose again, and everything returned to its original state, as though no one had ever been there. The activation thod for the formation here was not difficult; any cultivator versed in formations could open it. However, he had now changed the way to activate the formation. If soone else’s understanding of formations was not as advanced as his, they would find it impossible to open.
Luo Shu and Yun Han also erged from the space.
“This treasure location is quite unique, hidden in a graveyard,” Yun Han comnted with a smile as he surveyed the surroundings.
