Chapter 267: Two hundred sixty-six, encounter again Chapter 267: Two hundred sixty-six, encounter again “Do you want to see?” Luo Shu asked with a raised eyebrow and a smile.
Mu Wan nodded with a smile, “I’m very curious, just how cold is the legendary Cold-faced Yama? I’m even more curious if he will also have a cold expression when he’s with you.”
“I just won’t bring him to you,” Luo Shu said with a mischievous smile. She had wanted to introduce Lu Hanmo to Mu Wan for a long ti but never had the chance.
“Stingy!” Mu Wan glared at Luo Shu, annoyed.
“However, I can introduce you to a little brother, want to et him?” Luo Shu asked with a sly smile.
“You bad egg! Don’t run!” The two of them laughed and frolicked.
When Luo Shu sensed soone ahead, she quickly stopped in her tracks and looked up. Upon seeing the person’s face, she was stunned. How could it be him?
Upon seeing the person in front of Luo Shu, Mu Wan also stopped, “Yun Han senior!” Yun Han was a celebrity at Yun University; not only was he handso, but his academic performance was astonishingly good; he was the Prince Charming in many girls’ hearts.
Yun Han nodded and walked toward the distance.
Watching Yun Han’s retreating figure, Luo Shu’s eyes were filled with confusion. She was certain that the person she saved that night was Yun Han. He had also told her his na was Yun Han. But Yun Han was clearly a True Cultivator, so how could he be attending school here?
“Hey! Snap out of it!” Mu Wan waved her hand in front of Luo Shu’s face.
Luo Shu’s gaze returned to Mu Wan, “Who is he?” Now she was very curious about Yun Han.
“You’re not falling for Yun Han senior, are you? Aren’t you afraid your Young Master Lu will get jealous?” Mu Wan teased with a smile. She naturally knew Luo Shu wasn’t soone who changed affections easily.
Luo Shu glared at Mu Wan with a smile, “I’ve seen him, so I was a bit curious.”
Mu Wan nodded knowingly and said, “Yun Han senior, he’s the Prince Charming in the hearts of the female students at our school; he excels in every aspect. It’s just that he’s sowhat reclusive and doesn’t like talking to people much. And he seems to seldom co to school, yet his grades always rank first in the entire school.”
Luo Shu nodded, “Let’s go to the library.” Her encounter with Yun Han was just a fleeting one; she had helped him last ti, and he gave her a Spirit Stone, so they were even. If it hadn’t been for their eting today, she wouldn’t have thought of Yun Han at all.
The library wasn’t very big, but it housed a vast collection of books, densely shelved, almost dizzying to look at.
After entering the library, Luo Shu and Mu Wan split up to search for the books they wanted to read.
Row by row, Luo Shu searched and quickly found the section with books on ancient texts, but after flipping through several, she still couldn’t find the script she was searching for.
“Luo Shu, did you find the book you wanted to read?” Mu Wan ca over holding two of Zhang Ailing’s novels. Several girls in the dormitory liked this kind of novels, and she got hooked after trying one.
“No!” Luo Shu shook her head, sowhat disappointed.
“What kind of book are you looking for? I can ask around for you,” Mu Wan offered.
“Books about ancient scripts,” Luo Shu replied, knowing that Mu Wan ant well.
Mu Wan thought for a mont, “I know there’s an old book stall on Jingliang Street, shall we go take a look there?” She had almost scoured every nook and cranny of Cloud City looking for Ginseng for her grandmother, so she was quite familiar with those small lanes and alleys.
“Sure!” Luo Shu nodded with a smile. Although the prospects weren’t great, there was still hope.
“Then you co back to the dormitory with first, and I’ll ask a classmate to apply for leave for this afternoon.” Mu Wan said as she pulled Luo Shu out of the library.
Upon arriving at Mu Wan’s dormitory, I saw four bunk beds inside, with three girls lying on their own beds engrossed in reading novels.
When the three saw Mu Wan co in with Luo Shu, they all looked up.
“Mu Wan, is she the Little Divine Doctor?” one of them asked, an eyeglass-wearing girl with a beauty mark between her eyebrows. Since Mu Wan was their dormmate, she often talked about Luo Shu, so they had long revered her.
Mu Wan nodded with a smile and made the introductions, “This is Luo Shu, my good friend, and the renowned Luo Shu of Cloud City. Luo Shu, these are my roommates, Ma Yan, Li Xuxia, Gong Lina.”
“Hello!” Luo Shu greeted the three with a smile.
“Hello! We’ve known about you for a long ti. I’ve heard your dical skills are super good; I really want to see them for myself.”
“Yeah, I heard the Whisper series cleanser that’s sold on the market was developed by you; you’re really amazing!”
“That cleanser works so well, the acne on my face has almost disappeared,” the three said excitedly, chattering away.
“Of course, who else’s friend would she be?” Mu Wan looked at them proudly.
“Show-off!” The three simultaneously rolled their eyes at Mu Wan in disdain.
Mu Wan laughed, reaching out to hook her arm around Luo Shu’s, “So what if I’m showing off? Who asked Luo Shu to be my good friend?” She had a good relationship with her roommates and was used to playing around with them.
“Sisters, let’s take her down!” Li Xuxia grabbed a pillow from the bed and called out to the other two.
“Okay, okay! I’m wrong! Can’t admit I’m wrong? You great people should not rember the offenses of us lowly ones, forgive this once, okay?” Mu Wan quickly raised her hands in surrender.
“That’s more like it, in consideration of the Little Divine Doctor, we won’t hold it against you.”
“Don’t let it happen again, oh!”
Mu Wan thanked them with a bow, “Thank you, noble heroines, for sparing .”
After joking with the three for a while, Mu Wan said, “Alright, I won’t ss around with you guys anymore. Luo Shu and I need to go out for a bit; could you please cover for ?”
“No problem!”
“Little Divine Doctor, co visit us when you have ti.”
“Goodbye, Little Divine Doctor!”
“Goodbye!” Luo Shu waved to the three with a smile and left the dormitory with Mu Wan.
Jingliang Street is also in the downtown area, only its location is quite hidden, so many people don’t know about this street.
Following Mu Wan, Luo Shu walked onto Jingliang Street, seeing that although the street wasn’t long, there were many people strolling around.
The sides of the street were filled with stalls, but the items for sale were mostly old things, antiques, calligraphy, and paintings, along with so old furniture.
After two years of settling, the social climate had beco more stable compared to the past, and more people had started setting up stalls. However, the vendors on Jingliang Street were mostly those who dealt in secondhand goods or people who didn’t have money for food and wanted to exchange old items from their hos for money.
