Chapter 1040: One thousand and thirty-eight, Discovery

Luo Shu transford her Divine Sense into a giant hand, once again attempting to grasp the elusive Ti Flying Swords. Using Divine Sense proved to be noticeably more effective than simply using physical hands; however, the Ti Flying Swords didn’t remain in the grasp of the Divine Sense hand for long before dissipating into specks of golden light, vanishing without a trace.

Thus, the cycle repeated—Luo Shu’s Divine Sense hand would capture the Ti Flying Swords repeatedly, only for them to swiftly disappear each ti.

Undaunted, Luo Shu continued her attempts without a hint of frustration. Over ti, the duration that the Ti Flying Swords rested in her hand grew longer and longer. Even those swords previously impossible to catch could now be partially captured.

Hearing joyful laughter, Luo Shu opened her eyes and looked over. Lu Hanmo was teaching the little brother and little sister about formation techniques. She had spent two whole years cultivating this ti; though she hadn’t yet comprehended the laws of ti, her cultivation level had improved significantly.

Looking at the heartwarming scene of the father and children bonding, Luo Shu smiled and walked over to them.

“Mom!” The little brother and little sister rushed over, happily hugging Luo Shu as soon as they saw her.

“You’ve both grown taller.” Luo Shu affectionately stroked their heads. The siblings’ heights now reached her chest. The little sister strongly resembled Luo Shu, and as she grew older, she’d likely beco an exact replica. The little brother, on the other hand, looked like Lu Hanmo as if carved from the sa mold. The only subtle difference was his facial lines, which were slightly softer than Hanmo’s.

“Mom, Dad taught my brother and formation techniques. I can already refine Formation Flags and set up simple Level One Formations. Am I amazing?” The little sister eagerly handed her refined Formation Flag to Luo Shu, brimming with anticipation for praise. In the past, she and her brother never learned formation techniques because their dad said they were too young and it wasn’t suitable. Now, at eight years old, beyond their daily studies and cultivation, they were finally ready to learn sothing useful for self-defense.

Luo Shu examined the Formation Flag and bent down to kiss the little sister on the forehead with a smile. “You’re amazing!”

Grinning widely upon receiving the praise, the little sister’s face radiated with a bright smile.

“Mom, look at the Formation Flag I refined!” The little brother also held out his Formation Flag to Luo Shu excitedly.

“You’re amazing too!” Luo Shu responded warmly and kissed the little brother on the forehead. Due to their circumstances, the siblings couldn’t play with other children or experience the typical childhood joys of going to school, carrying backpacks, or listening to teachers in classrooms. The thought of them missing out on their childhood made Luo Shu feel guilty.

“Xixi, did you rember everything Dad taught you earlier?” Lu Hanmo smiled and asked, watching the little sister return to sit beside him.

“I rembered! Xixi will demonstrate it for Dad.” The little sister picked up materials from the table and began refining another Formation Flag, then proceeded to set up a formation following Lu Hanmo’s earlier instructions.

Seeing her serious deanor, Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo exchanged smiles filled with happiness and parental pride.

The little brother also sat next to the little sister and began refining a Formation Flag of his own.

Suddenly, rapid footsteps sounded from outside, followed by loud knocking on the door: “Bang bang bang!”

“Luo Shu, Lu Hanmo, co out quickly! There’s a major discovery!” Yun Han’s excited voice resounded from outside.

Luo Shu instructed the little brother and little sister to enter the spatial space, then walked forward to open the door. Yun Han stood at the doorway, visibly exhilarated. “What happened?” she asked.

“Xiao Yao discovered a Formation Prohibition at the bottom of the Cang Sea; we might be able to leave!” Yun Han exclaid, his face alight with excitent. Though this place was decent, its tranquility was unnatural. Having spent years following Xiao Yao across various places, this quiet period felt uncomfortably foreign to him.

Lu Hanmo stepped forward. “Let’s go have a look.” For the past two years, he had also been comprehending the laws of ti, gaining so insights. He felt he was only a hair’s breadth away, needing perhaps just a crucial mont to achieve enlightennt.

Following Yun Han to the Cang Sea’s coastline, they found that the people of the Ti Country had already gathered, inford of the discovery and gazing toward the vast sea.

Upon seeing Luo Shu, Lu Hanmo, and Yun Han arrive, Xiao Yao and Ye Lifeng, busy talking to a white-bearded elder, waved toward them.

Luo Shu, Lu Hanmo, and Yun Han returned their smiles and walked up to them.

“There’s a Formation Prohibition beneath the sea. Since you two are knowledgeable about formation techniques, why not take a look?” Xiao Yao suggested. During these two years, he had spent the first calmly cultivating; however, as ti wore on, his restless nature compelled him to roam this world in search of an exit.

“Has anyone gone down yet?” Luo Shu asked.

“Senior Zheng and Senior Gu have already descended,” Ye Lifeng replied, explaining that these two seniors had the highest level of formation mastery among their group.

Luo Shu nodded and turned to Lu Hanmo. “Let’s go take a look.”

“Alright!” Lu Hanmo responded with a smile, holding Luo Shu’s hand as they headed toward the sea.

As they entered the water, Lu Hanmo imdiately deployed a Divine Sense Shield, enveloping both himself and Luo Shu.

The pair gradually dove deeper into the sea, where the water was crystal clear and devoid of marine life.

Soon enough, they spotted the Formation Prohibition Yun Han had ntioned. Senior Zheng and Senior Gu were already there, studying the formation.

“Why did you co down?” Senior Zheng asked in surprise upon seeing Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo. This Formation Prohibition was critical, and prior to descending, they had explicitly warned that anyone unfamiliar with formations should not venture below to avoid potentially jeopardizing their chances of escape.

“We ca to take a look. Have there been any findings so far?” Luo Shu inquired.

“Do you understand formations? If not, you’d best not stay here. Damaging the formation could ruin our opportunity to leave!” Senior Zheng stated gravely.

“We’re Level Nine Immortal Formation Masters,” Luo Shu replied with a smile. During their ti on the Immortal Ship, their level of formation mastery had already surpassed Level Nine. The next leap forward would take them into the realm of Divine Formation Masters.

Senior Zheng and Senior Gu froze briefly, their faces betraying disbelief as they scrutinized Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo.

“You’re really Level Nine Immortal Formation Masters?” Senior Zheng asked, eyeing them skeptically. They were far too young for such advanced mastery. Even with thousands of years of dedication to formations, Senior Zheng himself had only attained Level Seven mastery.

“We absolutely wouldn’t deceive you, seniors,” Lu Hanmo assured earnestly.

Exchanging glances, Senior Zheng and Senior Gu hesitated before Senior Gu spoke, “We’ll trust you, then. Hopefully, you won’t disappoint us.” Despite their extensive research on the Formation Prohibition, they had yet to find a solution to break it. In the Ti Country, the house now occupied by Luo Shu and her family had belonged to a Level Nine Immortal Formation Master, suggesting they could hold the key.
