The hotel room door was flung open, Mu Shaoci pinned Shen Lu against the wall.
Moonlight stread through the floor-to-ceiling windows, lighting up their faces.
"Are you happy today?" Mu Shaoci pressed his forehead against hers.
Shen Lu softly replied, "Happy. I think this is the happiest day of my life."
"I will make you happy every day from now on."
Listening to his rogue laughter, Shen Lu felt that his ’happiness’ had a color to it.
She wanted to say more, but was silenced by his relentless kisses.
From the living room, the sofa, the bathroom to the window, their love left its mark everywhere.
Shen Lu didn’t know when she had fallen asleep, but when she opened her eyes, she saw him watching her intently.
"Awake?"
His deep and husky voice was her favorite; Shen Lu nuzzled up to him like a kitten and affectionately rubbed against him, "Good morning, boyfriend."
Yes, a boyfriend, not a sugar daddy.
This made Shen Lu’s dreams sweet, filled with pink bubbles.
Mu Shaoci looked at her cute and soft deanor, his heart felt tender, "Good morning, girlfriend. What would you like for lunch?"
"Lunch?" Shen Lu looked up at him in confusion, "Shouldn’t we have breakfast?"
Mu Shaoci pinched her face, "What breakfast? Do you know what ti it is now?"
"What ti?"
Mu Shaoci extended his wrist towards her, Shen Lu looked at the watch, it was already half-past ten.
"It’s normal to not be able to get up after last night’s activities." Mu Shaoci smiled and reached under the thin blanket, kneading her soft waist.
He grinned mischievously, "Didn’t expect you to be so proactive last night..."
Shen Lu reached out to cover his mouth, "Don’t say it."

For two days, Mu Shaoci took Shen Lu out for fun.
They were like any other ordinary couple, checking in at every trendy hotspot for photos, trying all the specialty foods of the country.
Shen Lu was still imrsed in her changing status, feeling like she was dreaming, and sotis she would even giggle to herself secretly.
Mu Shaoci would occasionally see her like this, and though he found it amusing, he also felt particularly heartbroken.
He swore he would treat her better in the future.
The two were at a coffee shop on Su’er Street, drinking coffee and eating desserts.
Mu Shaoci noticed so cream on the corner of her lips and gently wiped it away with a napkin.
Just then, Mu Shaoci’s phone rang.
Looking at it, it was from the chocolate shop owner.
"Mr. Mu, Tongtong is preparing for surgery this afternoon. She would like to see you and Miss Shen before the operation. Do you, do you have ti?"
Mu Shaoci watched as Shen Lu just finished her dessert and said, "Let’s go to the hospital now."
"Thank you, Mr. Mu, thank you Miss Shen."
Mu Shaoci looked towards Shen Lu and relayed what the boss said on the phone.
Shen Lu nodded, the two of them held hands and left.
They did not notice that soone in the corner secretly took their photo and made a phone call.
"President Chen, guess who I saw?"
Chen Kai, who was drunk, said, "Who? I am really annoyed right now, stop playing guessing gas with !"
"Mu Shaoci, I saw him holding hands with that special assistant, looking very sweet together. I guess with Mu Shaoci behaving so openly, this woman must have been made official. Don’t you have a grudge against him? Taking out this woman would be just perfect."

Shen Lu walked to the bedside and took her hand, "Tongtong, how are you feeling?"

The boss couldn’t stand the scene and stepped out of the ward.
Mu Shaoci followed him out, saying, "I will take care of all of Tongtong’s treatnt expenses."

Mu Shaoci smiled, "My girlfriend likes Tongtong, consider it as a pre-paid birthday gift for Tongtong next year."
The boss expressed his gratitude, "If you ever need one day, I will go through fire and water without hesitation."
Mu Shaoci smiled lightly, "Okay."
Tongtong’s surgery went smoothly, although she was imdiately transferred to the ICU post-surgery.
Mu Shaoci wanted to et Y, but Y vanished right after the surgery, only leaving so instructions with Tongtong’s attending physician.
Mu Shaoci and Shen Lu wanted to wait until Tongtong woke up before leaving, but a construction accident involving casualties occurred at a property under Mu Corporation, and they had to return imdiately.
